Dr. Dana Towle is the Grim Reaper. This was my 1st ever plastic surgery experience and unless you're a Veteran you'll quickly get lost in the shuffle. I used to be a model. My skin was flawless but after I had my son I wanted my body back. That's what I told him. 'The procedure is very straight forward', he said. A few incisions and 3-6 months later, I'd be snatched.' That's it. In retrospect, I was desperate and naive and I just accepted what he told me. I hate myself for accepting his passivity and lack of enthusiasm or empathy or AESTHIC at all. I hate my stomach and I hate myself for not doing more research, or ask more questions or just waiting until I found someone with better bedside manners. He's cold, detached and rough with his hands. After surgery I swelled, Bad. I retained enormous amounts of fluid. And even with rest, Pineapple, massage and faha I could not get rid of it. Thats not the worst part. My stomach NEVER healed. It's been 3 years and my stomach still looks deformed, like there's a live alien inside. I'm an avid Yogi, Pilates and Kaleistenics practitioner and there's nothing (natural) that can fix it. I work really hard to flatten my belly but no matter what I do, it still looks deformed. I was very vocal and communicative around the problem. I was advised to wait for the results. It took 9 months before I was able to go back to yoga. I went on Ozempic to lose the weight. It worked! But still the Alien belly. My belly button is 2 inches to the right (way off center) and what was smooth and pretty on the outside is now rough and bumpy. I used to have a 6 pack before the baby. So with the surgery, yoga, pilates etc yes, I am expecting my body back, still fighting to get it right. II was a bit nervous going in, to be honest, because of all the negative reviews. But I've worked in the field, and you can't please everyone, so I decided to book. I met Dr. Vuu before surgery, and he seemed great, as did the front office staff. The call center in Miami was also great - if I had a question, concern, or even if they needed something from me, they would call me ASAP. Very professional and very courteous. The day of surgery was a bit long, to say the least, but knowing the medical field, as a patient, you have to be patient. I was told to come in at 1 pm and should have been out around 7 pm, give or take. Things happen, and I was out about 11 pm. Even though I got out very late, the OR RNs and post-op RNs, including the CRNA and Dr. Vuu, were amazing! I asked my post-op nurse for everyone's names, but I was still so out of it that I forgot, lol. Sorry. I asked for an in person consult with the surgeon and was scheduled with a surgery coordinator instead. When I asked what the coordinator is to do for me and about having a consult with the actual surgeon, I was told that they will answer my questions about pricing and talk to me about the 2 options they have for surgeons who you do not get to see or speak to until the day of the procedure which is absolutely wild. They offer a consult with dr for I think 150.00 which is not bad "IF THEY HAVE TIME TO MEET YOU" I don't care how many deals they offer to not meet a person who is going to cut into your body until the day of surgery is a huge ass no for me. Not having a surgeon look at/ asses your body's build and trying on different size implants to make recommendation prior to surgery is crazy. Not writing this to bash the clinic or Dr's but to let others know this is the process so don't expect to speak to a surgeon until the day of your actual procedure. I am old school and will not be letting anybody cut into my body without meeting them and speaking with them first. I work in the medical field, and this is not how normal standard procedure is for cosmetic sx consults to go. The dr i work for said this i a huge red flag for a cosmetic surgery office and it sounds like they are doing shady business in there which seems to be true given all the negative reviews about botched sx and stolen money. I have had the pleasure of receiving a BBL/Lipo360 by Dr. Vuu and it was an amazing experience with both Mia Aesthetic overall and Dr. Vuu. This was my process and experience I had my over the phone consult with someone over the phone while they over looked my photos I sent in. Confirmed my medical history and was sent my invoice for the 10% that secured you the surgery date. I had access to a portal through Mia Aesthetics that gave me all the documents for labs and medical clearance as well as information and videos for Pre Op and Post Op (also the link to their post op essentials like Fajas) I was also able to contact them whenever I wanted to by phone with any questions while I waited for my Pre Op appointment. Once I went to my pre op appointments unfortunately you do not meet Dr. Vuu this appointment it's a brief appointment going over documents, vitals, questions and balances. They send you while in office a text message with the time you have to go into the office for surgery the next day. The day of surgery you will go into office sign a couple more documents, they'll call you to the back and from there it's quick you get into surgical garments, you get drug tested/a pregnancy test and meet with Dr. Vuu (his assistant will give you his personal number for post op purposes which is a 10/10 for me) and go over your expectations and your inspiration (SAVE PICTURES FOR YOUR INSPO) then the anesthesiologist will introduce himself and start an IV and push fluids before moving into the OR and then once you wake up from my experience the nurses around were super sweet and talkative to make sure you're ready to go. Dr. Vuu came by explained what happened, how many CCs he transferred and make sure you're ready to go. Post Op appointment was quick 20-30 minutes tops they have a routine for all the girls coming in and you can tell how organized it is. Dr. Vuu comes in with his assistant asking a couple questions, making sure everything is, answering any questions and then pictures. What I loved about this appointment Dr. Vuu wants his patients to visualize the new look while showing you your first pictures from day of surgery to what you look like in the mirror day of post op. I recommend Dr. Vuu to everyone!! His prices are incredible for his expertise and skills. If you're on the fence about his because he's newer I would look at it as he has something to prove as someone who's new and his work on instagram speaks volume for its self. I really don't understand why it's so hard to get a hold of someone to give them my money. I literally just needed something edited from my invoice so that I could pay the deposit. Finally got a chance to talk to someone and I explained I have talked to various coordinators and each has either stopped responding or has been able to send me the correct invoice. Keep telling them I was inquiring about breast augmentation and my invoice says lipo. I would much rather stay in Vegas because I'm local but at this rate, I guess I'll end up going to Miami with Vixen and Dr. Triggs. I got my surgery Monday 08/04/2025. I want to make this review in hopes of warning people of how they treat their patients. The corporate office calls you days before to confirm all details. They had told me my preopp was at 5am and no one was there when we showed up. The clinic workers started showing up at 5:45AM and of course we were upset because we traveled out of state to be there on time. The front desk girl didn't apologize just kept saying it wasn't her fault. Karla, the manager later apologized to us and I appreciated the fact she was kind and took accountability for a miscommunication of the corporate office. Before the surgery, everything is RUSHED. Make sure you ask all the right questions. Make sure you take someone who will stand up for you and protect you. I took my sister which I'm so thankful for because after the surgery that's when everything went wrong. I woke up to one of the nurses trying to put my surgical bra on. I told her I was in pain and it hurt. She in no way was empathetic or caring. They gave me morphine for the pain but I was still in pain. All the nurses seemed BOTHERED with me. They walked by ignoring me. They let me sit while I waited for my sister. I told one of the girls I was still in pain and she ignored me. She was too busy talking to the other nurse. When my sister showed up, the girl who took me to my car on the wheelchair was so rude. I was crying. I'm very petite and I was in pain like I mentioned. This was a big surgery for me. My sister said she kept rolling her eyes at me and made a rude comment when I sat in the car the wrong way. My sister was livid. To make matters worse, when we went to pick up my medication right after the surgery, the pharmacy could not give it to me because the clinic did not update the new surgeon's address for Mia Aesthetics. WE WAITED FOR ONE HOUR AND A HALF in the car. My sister and I called the clinic. They did not take any responsibility and blamed the pharmacy. I could not take my medications right away after the surgery because of this which resulted me to be in more pain later in the day. I will not ever come back or recommend this place to anyone. I'd rather pay more for better care elsewhere. I'm thankful my sister was there to stand up for me while I was in pain and tell the clinic how wrong they were for the after treatment they gave me. How they treat people is WRONG. I went home and had BLOOD on my shoulder and on the compression socks they gave me. They truly rush you and don't care for your wellbeing. My Tummy Tuck and chin lipo experience at Mia Aesthetics in Las Vegas with Dr. Towle. Surgery May 3rd,2024 I have given 4 stars 1. results- my before and after speaks for itself. My results are incredible. Chin lipo was only $800 and literally life changing. So affordable! Easy to recover from and now i look like a completely different person. I love my snatched chin especially on zoom calls for work. NO MORE DOUBLE CHIN TT- again, before and after speaks for itself. I love my results. Dr. Towle did his THING. I have had very little complications for healing my incision is nice and thin the only areas that didn't heal perfectly are due to my moving around too much post op and bending at the waist. I very much believe any one of dr.towles patients that are unhappy with results did not 100% follow post op instructions. 2. Care from the Mia Aesthetics team post op- I'm not going to give a lot of details here but i had some frustrations with bad communication and girls who didn't seem fully trained working in the office. What i will say is the manager cannot recall her name met with me in person at my post op appointment and did everything she could to make it right. HATS OFF TO YOU! This almost never happens in customer service and that's the reason I am not going into detail about my frustration because they went out of their way to make it right. Secondly, I've lived in Las Vegas and quite honestly good staff are just hard to find there! I'll leave it at that. 3. Communication Pre Op- this is the reason for 4 stars not 5. My pre op appointment was accidentally not scheduled. No big deal they got me in was just a tad stressful. Again, not a big deal! Other than that communication was great. They are VERY CLEAR about what is expected of you before surgery. Keep that in mind while reading through these reviews a lot of these bad reviews are because people are not following directions and therefore not cleared for surgery. This is your life and surgery is serious. 4. Dr. Towle- his work speaks for itself guys! If you're looking for a doctor who lights up a room when they walk in and a sparkling personality it ain't dr. Towle. This did not bother me. He's very dry and straight to the point. The bright side of that? His feedback was honest and he set realistic expectations. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! I called and got a consultation for a rear thigh lift procedure. I spoke with several people during this process, most could hardly speak a clear word of English, so it was hard to understand them. I asked for the price. I was told it would be $5,900 all inclusive. I asked several times about the ALL INCLUSIVE price as I have had procedures done in the past (not at this organization) and there always seems to be hidden costs. Moving forward, I was told I need to put down 10% of the procedure cost in order to get a surgery date. I did, $590. The I was told I own a balance of $5,900. I am an account and this made no sense to me as I have already paid $590 towards the full procedure price. Simple math shows that I should only owe a balance of $5,310. I canceled my procedure because I feel I got inaccurate and mis leading information from the "Sales Rep". They refused to give me a refund and have been fighting my credit card dispute. I feel this is a fraudulent company with sales reps that will tell you anything you want to hear in order to get you to put a down payment down under falsified information. read more

So, what I found while being a patient... Keep in mind, the main office when calling is in Miami so be sure to factor in the time difference. This will help to not get frustrated that you can't "get ahold" of anyone. You will get many Spanish speakers when calling so, communication can be tricky if you don't understand what they are saying but they do follow up via email with each call. You are responsible for ALL work up and medical clearance. I personally went to my primary physician. This is outlined in your contract BEFORE booking. You MUST have a caretaker or book with a recovery home. This too is outlined! You MUST meet BMI, this is normal for many surgery centers. This too is outlined. Also, when reading reviews, read them all thoroughly. Many people have never had a full experience with MIA or the physician. While I understand the disappointment of being canceled, when you sign the contract that you will XYX , you can't fairly fault the center for not complying with requirements that were thoroughly outlined. If you are over BMI, a smoker, have a questionable medical history why push it? Wait until you're physically ready and can meet the criteria. The criteria is set for your own well-being. When I had my initial virtual consult and before paying my deposit, MIA sent my contracts and it was VERY clear what my responsibilities were. They were also very clear as to what was and was not refundable. I'm not a surgeon, but IMO, that is too many people and they're shuffling people for the money. They inserted 20 cc more of a size I didn't ask for during my breast augmentation surgery; while they were inserting the size I initially asked, one of the implants ruptured. They weren't fully equipped with more than one size which is completely unprofessional, as a surgery clinic they should be prepared for any scenario. Now I have breast implants that are bigger than what I asked for - On top of that, the recovery process became even more difficult when the employees at the clinic did not provide me with the necessary materials needed. I had to figure everything out regarding caring for the incisions through youtube and waste more money on materials they were supposed to provide for me with the money I gave them for the surgery, and the Mia Aesthetics call center only reads off the same instructions you're provided online through the patient portal. Ordering your own wraps & adhesive tape strips from Amazon is out of line. Considering the fact that you only meet everyone at the clinic a day before your surgery if you do a virtual consultation the least they can do is make you feel comfortable and provide you with all the necessary materials. You give them a large amount of your money to walk out happy with your experience and results and that was not the case with Mia Aesthetics they are unprofessional and unprepared. Bbl because they were here in Vegas and I wanted to heal at home. My pre-op appointment made me almost walk out on my entire surgery. The nurse was rude and completely impersonal. This place is like a bbl conveyor belt. They could give a f* what any one in there is talking about. They day of my surgery suddenly they were slightly nicer. But not by much. The dr came in maybe 30 minutes before my surgery. Dr Towle ( No you don't get to meet your surgeon at pre-op like normal places ) He informed me that the lipo 360 doesn't include your bra line even though it does literally everywhere else. And of course I wasn't informed of this until 30 minutes before the surgery. It's their way of trying to hustle you out of more money hoping you'll pay the additional thousands to simply do a part that is included in the normal lipo 360 procedure. Everyone there is VERY detached, you feel like you're in the BBL welfare office. After my surgery, I had lost a lot of blood and I was literally blue, they had me sitting in a wheelchair when you aren't even supposed to sit down at all. One nurse commented on my my lips being blue and the other simply said "oh she's just that color" And they proceeded to rush me outside to my ride while still under anesthesia less than 45 minutes off the surgery table. They also failed to send my pain prescriptions to my pharmacy on time. So when I went to pick them up after the surgery non were ready. So I cried from unbearable pain in the back of the car while we waited for Walgreens to rush a prescription they had barely just received. After healing and getting massages my results are mediocre. But what can you expect from a 360 lipo that doesn't do your bra line at all. I do NOT under any circumstances recommend MIA. And to be honest I really hope enough of us can come together and bring a class action lawsuit against them. Not only was this the worst, and scarriest procedure of my life, they make you feel like you are nothing, give 0 concern about your health, and hustle you for more money 30 minutes before your surgery!! I leave a 2 star review as a caretaker and not as an actual patient. Let me explain. Recently, I was caretaking for someone who had a BBL/360 Lipo at Mia's. I dropped her off at 0600, as per instructions. She was still texting me up until about 0645, which, to any reasonable person means, she wasnt in surgery as of yet. I received a call from a nurse at 0822, stating that she was out of surgery and would be ready for pickup at 0845. In my mind -- I was thinking, about 1.5 hours or less for Lipo 360 and BBL? Thats FAST. Then on top of that -- she was ready to be picked up less than a half hour later?! After being under anesthesia? Thats crazy. Most hospitals hold patients for a minimum of 2 hours just to monitor them for complications -- especially since she required the additional $500 Cell Saver (Blood treatment). I was there at 0845, as per instructions. She was brought out -- in a wheel chair, through a back door. Forgive me if im wrong, but BBL patients are not supposed to be seated for several weeks? She was sitting DIRECTLY on her hind quarters. The nurse informed me of when she needed to take her next dosings of medications, when to start an antibiotics, etc. What concerned me what she was out of it. Completely. She was incoherent. To a point that I believe that it might even be malpractice to release a patient in that condition. Mind you -- I understand that people heal differently, but cmon. For the first 48 hours, blood literally spewed from her incisions. Im talking rapid flowing water fountain...not dribble or leakage. She was faint and light headed and her pain was a 10. I called Mia to get some kind of assurance on what to do and or expect. I even told them that if she loses consciousness, I would be calling 9-1-1. The operator I was speaking to kept telling me that everything was normal, not to seek emergency medical help, and that hey body went through trauma. Im leaving 2 stars for this reason -- I believe that aftercare is horrendous. I can not attest to actual results yet. She continuously says "I look the same," although, I tell her I see a difference -- and I understand that swelling takes months to subside. The nursing staff is, from what I can tell, good. The reception staff, also good. I just cant with this aftercare. This drive-through style surgical suite can be really dangerous. Luckily, they have all of these legal contracts because no hospital would EVER. Im actually surprised more people havent complained about this. Are there services good? Probably -- dont get me wrong. Are they nice people? Yes Is the place clean? Very (Although, she did tell me that for her 3rd lymphatic massage, there was blood on the floor from a previous patient) Surgeon was Dr. Towle. I am officially 6 weeks post op and I am so happy with my results. I will say that I wish I went bigger with my BBL but my overall experience with Mia Aesthetics was great! They have a call center to help you book, pay & get cleared for your procedure. They have a client portal where you upload your medicinal documents that made it super simple then finally when it came down to my surgery, Dr Towle was amazing. We discussed what I wanted and he was honest that I was not going to look like my Kylie Jenner inspo picture but he would get me closer to it so I really appreciated that. The only negative for me is that their is only 1 massage lady and its really messed up to keep someone waiting for hours who just got out of surgery and is in pain. This happened twice. Prior to my surgery I was impressed with the customer service & correspondence. I felt an immediate shift once I paid for the procedure. I booked my surgery months in advance & was told continuously I would see doctor one day post op & at day five. It was not once communicated to me that the clinic was closed weekends & being my surgery was scheduled for a Friday I wouldn't be seen until Monday. Being that I was traveling from another state I attempted to get my preop appointment time weeks prior to make travel arrangements. I was told that is not possible & the day prior to my scheduled preop appointment I would receive a text message with the time. That leaves very little notice / preparation time. I never even received the text from the coordinator as promised I had to call. I was told I would meet the doctor at my pre op appointment and could ask any questions at that time. That did not happen , my pre op appointment was with a coordinator who had no medical background i'm assuming as she could not answer any of my medical related questions. The entire front desk staff was not friendly or professional. Day of my scheduled procedure I arrived 30 mins prior to my scheduled surgery time (as instructed) which was set for 10:30am. I didn't get called back until after 1pm. Nothing was communicated by the staff. I had to ask several times if I could provide the needed urine sample while waiting because I could no longer hold it. I was finally called back , nurses and anesthesiologist were friendly . The doctor himself was not , ( Dr. Towle) he was dry & cold . The actual time spent with him was so quick it seemed rushed. He asked if i had inspiration pictures & when I tried to show him he only quickly glanced at them. I wake up from surgery & am discharged. I fainted several times throughout the first day , 9 total. I was told to get up & walk by the nursing staff . However I could not safely do so without fainting. I also wasn't prepared for how much blood I would be loosing. My husband was concerned and attempted to call & email the after hours / emergency contacts and got NO response. I later in the evening called & was told to drink fluids & again get up & walk. It seems to me the post op instructions provided are very generic & the safety of the patient is not prioritized. Day of my post op appointment comes and I waited over an hour in a hot uncomfortable waiting room. The AC was not turned on until several people complained. I feel the post op waiting room should definitely be made to be more comfortable for patients whom just had surgery i.e BBL chairs, boppy pillows . Something, anything . Was finally called in & a nurse came in with the wrong chart( called me by a different name) I was asked to undress & had my pictures taken by the nurse. Dr. Towle came in for 2 mins , did not assess me what so ever so I don't understand why I needed to be nude . He said give it six months & that was it. Surgery is a major decision & while recovering you are physically & emotionally drained. Some reassurance , professionalism & warmth is much needed & appreciated. I asked the nurse if she could tell me how much fat was removed and she said she couldn't see it on her end. I then responded with I'd really like to know before I left. She left to ask the doctor & came back & said his response was "I don't know" . I was extremely alarmed because how is it not documented? She instructed me to call in a couple of days & ask. I did , was placed on hold & then instructed I could request my medical records for an additional fee. I have since done so & have not yet received them. (it's been over 6 weeks) My next concern is the requested information accurate or just a made up number put into my chart? How was it not accessible or known how much fat was removed during my procedure but now some how is going to be available. Overall I will not be referring anyone to Mia Aesthetics based on my experience. The bedside manner of the surgeon & overall professionalism is lacking. read more

I recommend 3 women and all 3 women are having work done with Dr.Towle. I didn't get accepted, but happy to announce that we all come from Oahu, Hawaii. I'm happy my girls are about to get SNATCHED and can't wait for their results. The reason I didn't get accepted is because I have COPD and RSS/CRPS. So yea my condition played a huge part why my husband paid double if not triple the amount from what Mia charges. I got SNATCHED April 28,2021 on the island of Oahu. I clearly understand and repect why I didn't get accepted, but I'm happier I did my MMO at home. Hopefully somebody from Mia is reading this. I called Mia Aesthetics to get my wife a mommy makeover for Valentine's Day. Called and asked how much it was, they told us and said we had to pay a deposit to see the doctor, so we went to pay the deposit and as soon as we paid, asked again when we could see the doctor for consultation and they told us we would see him day before the surgery. Already we got upset because they took our money and gave us false explanation and expectations of the consultation, luring us into giving them a deposit. One that they said is now, non refundable. We have been calling to resolve this and no one calls back to follow up and they just keep saying they will not refund. We spoke to some staff in the front office who advised us that we should have gotten a consultation for free that they don't charge and we did not get that. We tried to reach out to go out of town to a different doctor because the one in Vegas didn't provide the services we wanted and they ran us in circles again. Recently had surgery in march. I flew to Las Vegas to revive my dream body and healed into a nightmar. Not only are my nipples uneven EXTREMELY NOTICEABLE but they were placed in the wrong boob on top of the nipple piercing being crooked. I have extra skin tabs my full Back was not liposuction like I paid for. I asked him about all of this before I left he said my boobs were swollen and so was my back.
