Home of the Miami Heat and it has a new name since i was there last week! One of the nicer arenas in the country, and it holds up to 5000 people. Ive been when it's sold out and when it's not. I've sat in the upper rafters and in the lower bowl. You can see from anywhere in the arena, of course it's much nicer the lower you sit. I've been lucky enough to watch my sons high school basketball game there and he was lucky enough to actually play on the court. A thrill a teenager will never forget. Parking is expensive. $40 if you want to park next door at Bayside which is the closest. You can find lower priced lots around the the city, but be sure you walk in a group late at night. Foods typical stadium food, fair and pricey. Your'e going for the expierience, so it's par for the course. During Games, they always have a special in the store, so it's fun to check out. I've gotten some great Heat gear over the years. Entry and exit is easy with plenty of signage.It's always a fun experience and even better when the Heat Win!!!

I came by the other day with my friend Dan to watch a Heat game for my birthday (thanks bro!) Right on the bay, the Miami-Dade Arena (most recently the FTX Arena) is our city's main exhibition, sports and concert hall. Even though my Heat lost the game, it was a 5 star experience. I will say this - if your team is winning, DON'T LEAVE YOUR SEAT". Go hungry and keep rooting :) I've also attended a few other events, including a show by Kaskade for the "Atmosphere" tour where the whole court was turned into a dance floor. Miami being a foodie city, you can find a few more varieties than the expected arena dishes of hot dogs and burgers. For example, tonight I enjoyed loaded chicken tacos from Bodega (a place that started in South Beach!) along with my usual La Rubia beer. There's also another local Asian fusion place (Phuc Yea), a Bacardi lounge and yes classic stadium fare. The design of the arena is such that even the upper seats have great sight lines. Sound quality is great, and they have a great monitor at center court to watch the action.

I've come to many concerts in this area throughout the years! It's gone through a few name changes but the area remains the same. It's a great venue for concerts. The sound system is great and you have a good view no matter where you're sitting. The staff is always so kind and friendly. The venue and bathrooms are clean. Food is a mixed bag. Vegetarian options are pretty limited so not too many options. There's a variety of options for beer and cocktails. As any venue, prices are a bit high so that's something to keep in mind. I can't speak on the parking, as I usually use a ride share to arrive here but definitely be mindful of the end of any event, as they close down Biscayne Blvd and can be a bit chaotic. I look forward to coming back for a future event!

Came here to watch the Miami Heat (1st NBA ever let's goooo!!) against the Denver Nuggets. I was really surprised about how cheap the tickets were, we were sitting on the third level and they were less than $30 a person so we had to capitalize on it. The game was great as it was a tight race until the very end when the Heat pulled through. I will have to say that the arena was kind of empty that day, granted it was a weekday night, but I will say that out of the many sports stadiums I have been to, the energy in the crowd here was kind of subpar. The stadium itself was great, but the 2 stars in this review mainly comes with the confusion with where to store your bags. As with many other sports stadiums, the audience is not allowed to bring anything inside. We found a place on the Bounce app (luggage storage for cheap) that was near the stadium so we booked it. Hypothetically it was in the stadium actually, but when we asked around for where this location was, all of the employees had no idea. This was weird because there were 200+ reviews of this location on the Bounce App so the employees would probably know of this location as people must have asked them in the past. At the end we couldn't find it and had to store our bags with the Arena for $18 a locker which is the most expensive storage space I have been to associated with a sports arena. Overall, great game and great arena. Just be a bit more mindful if you are planning on bringing your bags to the game and need a storage space. Maybe don't book it on Bounce and just come directly to store the bags at the place.

Swedish House Mafia concert was on fire! Cool arena and very simple to park and get into. Helpful staff all over the place. The concert was amazing, but the bar tab I could do without. Astronomical!

Great arena that's the the Miami Heat and other performances and events. I've always had a great time when I come here. The one bad thing I will say is since its in the heart of downtown traffic gets crazy before and after Heat games and other events so finding parking can be tricky. Inside is extremely updated and it is a cashless venue so card only.

If you know me, you know I love the Miami Heat. Home of the Heat, I have to love the FTX arena. Well... I don't have to but it's pretty neat. I still get chills anytime I come here for a game. Parking can and is an nightmare so I suggest coming super early to figure it out. I was able to come for Game 7 during the ECF against the Celtics. Even though the result was not what we wanted, it was a great game! You can FEEL the energy in the arena. For parking, if you're carpooling with a bigger group, you can park at Bayside and walk to the arena. If you get there early, you can browse around Bayside to grab food and/or drinks. Parking here during the game was a flatrate of $60 (yikes) but split among 6 people, it was only $10 pp so I guess it was worth it? Keep in mind, traffic leaving the area will most likely be bad so make sure you don't have to be anywhere urgently after. I've also come to this arena during a concert and did street parking. This might be a bit of a walk but overall cheaper and a little less of a headache when leaving. In the arena, they have the Miami Heat store and many floors with many bathrooms and food stands. You can easily get lost here but there's always staff to help guide the way. As for the seats, they take the term "nosebleed" seats to heart. They are super high up, stacked on top of each other, and the players look like ants. If you have the chance, don't opt for these seats. Luckily, I got a chance to be in section 124 this time around and the view was much better! As for food & drinks, there's a lot of options! We opted for the classic chicken tenders, fries, and onion rings- pretty good! There's also options like salmon poke and Bodgea with tacos and frozen margaritas. Keep in mind, they don't sell alcohol in the fourth quarter of a Heat game so make sure to get your drinks before then! Already can't wait for next year's Heat season!

I can write about how awesome the Kasaya Center is specially with it's impressive eatery, bars and facilities, but tonight the honor of attention has to be given to the Miami Heat and their game for victory over New York Knick that went as follows. The Miami Heat completed a stunning sweep of the New York Knicks with a 112-98 victory in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Wednesday night at the Kaseya Center. The Heat dominated the game from start to finish, leading by as many as 28 points in the third quarter and never letting the Knicks get closer than 12 in the fourth. The Heat shot 52% from the field and 40% from 3-point range, while holding the Knicks to 42% and 25%, respectively. The Heat also outrebounded the Knicks 48-37 and outscored them 56-38 in the paint. Jimmy Butler was once again the star of the show for the Heat, scoring 31 points on 11-for-18 shooting, along with eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. He was supported by Bam Adebayo, who had 21 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, and Kyle Lowry, who had 18 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench. The Heat also got contributions from Kevin Love, who had 12 points and nine rebounds, Max Strus, who had 11 points and four 3-pointers, and Gabe Vincent, who had nine points and six assists. The Knicks had no answer for the Heat's balanced attack and relentless defense. Jalen Brunson was their only bright spot, scoring 26 points on 10-for-16 shooting, along with six assists and four rebounds. RJ Barrett had 18 points but shot 6-for-17, Julius Randle had 16 points but shot 5-for-15, and Mitchell Robinson had 14 points and eight rebounds. The rest of the Knicks combined for just 24 points on 9-for-30 shooting. The Kaseya Center was rocking with joyous fans who witnessed their team make history as the first No. 8 seed to sweep a No. 1 seed in a best-of-seven series. The arena was filled with chants of "Let's go Heat" and "Sweep" throughout the game, as well as loud boos for the Knicks players and coach Tom Thibodeau. The atmosphere was festive and celebratory, with confetti falling from the rafters and fireworks lighting up the sky after the final buzzer.

When I learned that WWE Friday Night Smackdown was coming to Miami, I quickly requested that day off from work and got my ticket two weeks early...that was when I also learned that the arena had changed its name...but who cares...ROMAN REIGNS WAS COMING TO MIAMI!!! Accompanied with my son, we arrived about 30 minutes early, got a decent parking space, scanned our e-tickets, and took the elevator to our assigned section/seats. The halls was crowded with people lining up to purchase WWE apparels and title belts, food, snacks, and cold beverages. Before the event started, there was a pre-match between Aliyah and Shotzi. Then as the show commenced, commentators - Michael Cole and Pat McAfee took their seats. The WWE Smackdown superstars definitely came out and show out: * Drew McIntyre * Shinsuke Nakamura/Rick Boogs * Sasha Banks/Naomi * Jinder Mahal * Sami Zayn * Richochet * Carmella * Sheamus * Sonya Deville * Charlotte Flair * The New Day * Ronda Rousey * The Viking Raiders * The Usos * Paul Heyman/Roman Reigns The two hour event was awesome and had entertaining matches. Roman Reigns had the arena going nuts. Things I witness live I don't see on TV, which made it more enjoyable.

Formerly known as the American Airlines Arena, this arena is now the FTX Arena. On the night of December 18th, my dear friend, Carlos T., and I ventured there to enjoy the music of the one and only Andrea Bocelli. I had had tickets for over a year. In fact, I think I had them before the pandemic. At any rate, point is the day finally came after rescheduling, seeing as this concert was originally for the year before. Anyway, given COVID, procedures were obviously different. You had to wear a mask, show proof of vaccination, you get the idea. Despite the influx of people, we entered pretty quickly and were then searched. We passed by that and I went to the bathroom which surprisingly was full of women, but these women were moving fast. Once I got out of there, we went to buy some water, and as luck would have it, we were there sitting early waiting for the show to begin. Everything was seamless minus some people who wound up in a fight. Lots of obscenities thrown about. The police showed up and dealt with it though, so no harm done. We enjoyed Andrea Bocelli and his surprise guests: his kids. Apparently they're talented just like he is. Looks like the name Bocelli will be around for quite some time.

Oh boy they sell everything at this arena including drinks from this Moet & Chandon kiosk! We opted for water nearby LOL

Ok I am not an expert on arenas but I feel they did a good job managing the large crowd of concert goers for when I went December 18th to see Andrea Bocelli perform. All thanks to my friend Marilu having an extra ticket to which we went to and wore our masks. To start, we parked about 2 blocks away at a nearby garage so were not impacted by the traffic other than crossing the street to the performance center directed by the police. After crossing, there were orderly lines for the initial check of tickets and handing out masks if those do not have with them. Following that up the stairs were metal detectors which you take off various items and place in the bin to pass it down the staff. Once inside, everything was very orderly with staff easily available to direct you to your appropriate area (we were at the very top of the arena). Again, as we made our way upstairs via the escalators, we came across many vendors selling food and drink (both alcoholic and non) and lines were not really that long. I found a cart vendor harking his drinks and made my way over there to purchase two water bottles. The only annoying part was he said management won't allow him to give us the bottles straight up, but only to pour in plastic cups (more plastic waste). Oh well. We got to our seats and sipped throughout the concert. Now onto the shocking part, I did say everything was orderly however, not more than about 20 minutes into the concert (or so) there were unruly patrons higher up than us and against the wall making a ruckus arguing and dropping f - bombs. Sucks but at least some police offers came to talk to them and escort them out (I believe). Why ruin all the cost and effort of coming to a concert to disrupt? The rest of the evening was extremely nice and with multiple encores! Afterward we slowly made our way out, patiently, everyone quite nice about it all. Didn't feel rushed. I would come back to see another concert here for sure!

I remember when this arena was being built and how after all these years it still has it charm. Located off the bay, this arena has legendary views. This is the official home of the Miami Heat and recently we caught a Cure concert and were impressed by the sound system for the show. The concession stands have the standard arena/stadium food.

Nice spacious seating even in the higher number seating. We went for a Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers for my friend's birthday. She had an awesome time!!! The restrooms were clean. But they don't have as much variety with food in the 300 & 400s but I'd visit again.

Awesome place. Very entertaining. Went to see Miami Heat play against the Clippers 12/16/2016. We lost but it was great to be there. I valed my car at the Lexus Gate 4. Very smooth to get in and out of the stadium. Looking forward to going again. read more

This place is HUGE, the food looked good and the bathrooms were clean. There were so many people here, but I always felt like I was able to maneuver to get where I needed to go without too much hold up. Security was helpful and answered questions in a friendly manner. Management was accommodating when my friend needed to find a gender neutral restroom to pump since she was nursing, but was away from her baby. The part I hated most about this place was that they were SUPER strict about what could be brought into the Arena. read more

Great, clean, modern arena with friendly, helpful staff and a wide selection of food options. I came here for two Heat games and I have zero complaints about the venue. It's very easily accessible by public transportation from Brickell (I have taken the metro mover-- its free!!) I wouldn't recommend coming here with a car though for a big event, since the roads are very congested and the parking is expensive (when I passed by a parking lot near the arena, their sign said $40 to park...) For both events, I was able to pass security without a hassle-- just make sure to have your tickets out ready for the staff members to see. Also don't come with a bag so you get to skip the longer security lines. Overall, I don't think you can ask much more from AA Arena. read more

Security needs to step it up. We left before a show started because we honestly did not feel comfortable after being threatened by another concert goer for being in their seats, after we were seated there incorrectly by one of the ushers. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for a premium seat and VIP experience. read more

Clean facility with many food options, prices are that of an athletic event PRICY. A 20 on bottle of Pepsi products is 5.00$. I tried the sushi (white hot heat roll) it was fantastic, (it was 15.00$) I was expecting it to be average but it was tasty and unexpected from a quick kiosk. There is parking available. Although they do not allow any kind of "selfie stick" or monopod. Good to know before you try and walk to the entrance, I had to walk back to the car to leave the small (about 12 inch stick) for my gopro it in there. read more

Great place to watch a Miami Heat game and watch them win in the last few seconds. Gift shop could be better & the food options were ok. The cost of 1 tall boy of Cornona could get you a 6pk & more any where else. $13 bucks for a beer is pathetic. read more

I've been here quite a few times for Heat games and musical concerts and had a great time every time. The arena does provide parking but you have to arrive super early and sometimes, depends on the event, the parking has to be prepaid. It's ok because there is a lot of parking around. Just be prepared to pay in cash. The food stands in the arena has variety of selections. They serve burgers, tacos, chicken tenders and Chinese dishes like potstickers and stir-fry noodles. The actual arena is huge and goes high as the standing room in the 400 sections. I've never been that high. But regardless where you sit, the view is always good. read more

A few months ago, I had gone to the J.Cole concert and when buying my tickets I couldn't see the specific seating. I have really bad panic disorder and so I can't do heights or seats on a steep incline. My seats were very intense and I found myself starting to panic so I went to guest relations where I met Beverly Wells. She handled everything so effortlessly and was extremely understanding. She got us better seats and was very accommodating. I had one of the best times of my life, all do to Ms.Wells helping us out! Thank you again! read more

this place was awesome, I always wanted to come here. it's at an amazing spot in the city with beautiful views. the heat played the hawks, heat won in a nail biter. this place was great I loved it. it was packed, food was good. parking was kinda annoying but definitely come here early to beat traffic read more

I had a good time for my first time here. Very clean, attendants were nice and cheap beer compared to other sports venues! The hotdog was extremely small though. The lines to get in seemed a little disorganized though. There are lines with or without a bag but if u dont know that u can get stuck waiting on the wrong line. read more

Hey I want to start off that this was my first heat game ever. What a horrible experience with a manager Rufino. I never had a heat game ever and as a first experience I feel disgusted.as vip ticket that I bought to be discriminated against in the lounge after 1000 dollar seat just because I got let go doesn't mean he should carry a grudge against me what a horrible experience, even him letting of employees because they said hi is just discriminatory I paid good money to be treated to the best guest experience and I was let down. To be discriminated against top management is just horrible I paid so much money to be treated as garbage I will never recommend you to my friend family and friend and to spend 1000 dollars on tickets and get treated like nothing will never go to a heat game and will never recommend you guy to now one for them to experience that I rather tell them that is not worth it. read more

I go to a lot of events in the AA Arena but the Sade concert by far has been one of the best I have ever been to. The lighting, the color coordination and her voice! incredible. If she performs here again, I would see her again without a doubt. If she goes to your city you must see it. I did not have floor seats (but dont like them as I am short but did have seats on the 100 section 13 row...could not have asked for a better angle. I go to the Arena for all the Heat Games and can honestly tell you, there are no bad seats in this arena. The arena is one of my favorites because even if I buy $10 seats in the 400 section they are great seats. The pictures I added here are in the 300 section and the 400 section, i can put the 200 and 100 section but you know those are great seats so i didnt bother. read more

Awesome place. I came there the other day to watch the heat game and was actually surprised about how nice everyone was. I got in very fast. It didn't even take five minutes since they got several entrances. Elevators are available fast as well. The place was super clean. I ended up in the suit level. And it was awesome. The food was great the service outstanding. That's a way of watching a game. The game was so much fun to watch the people who were there were also very relaxed, a lot of family's with kids. Just a very fun environment. There was a worker from the arena constantly somewhere to find if you had any question. It was just a great experience. I can't wait to go to another game or to a concert in the arena. Just an awesome team they got and it's just a nice place to be at. read more

I just LOVE this place and have been waiting for a recent return to it so I can review it. I've been to many an event here but not recently as a Yelper. Tonight I went to Disney on Ice with my family. Drove up and drove into the parking garage and for $15 parked right underneath. OMG I hear you say....$15 for parking!!! Well all around its about $10 minimum for parking in some outdoor scrappy parking lot. I much rather have my car in a secure underground parking facility than a lot on the street with one guy who may or may not give a shit. Please don't review a venue based on nearby parking facilities out of their control. Thats an issue with the city. Up we go in the elevator and find our seats in minutes because the signage is great and despite the fact the place is full of people who don't know where they are let alone where they should be sitting. They don't rob you in this place for food though we didn't get any food or drinks. But the husband comments that he has been here for many a Heat event and never felt gouged as much as he had elsewhere. I love the whole architecture of the place. I love that its accessible by both land and sea. I love come out at intermission and walking around the "smoking area" and having great views of the city lit up. I never miss a chance to bring my kids out there and showing them how beautiful Miami is when the sun goes down. They love it too. I've been to Heat games here...at clubhouse level (thank you my super Boss who likes to share the wealth)...the staff are so great and attentive for those occasions. I brought my son to his first ever concert here..U2. Totally awesome. I love how the police and the Arena work together in orchestrating a very smooth and fast exit from the place. This evening from leaving our seats until getting onto Brickell Avenue must have taken all of 20 minutes MAX. Such a fantastic addition to Miami. read more

Came here during the Miami Heat 20-something game winning streak while Lebron and company were still together. The seats in the lower section had pretty good views of the court. The arena is located on the waterfront and next to condos but other than that the area around it is pretty sketchy. If you are staying in South Beach it just a quick ride over the bridge to get to. From the outside you have a great view of the waterfront. On the inside, there are plenty of selection of food and drinks. What more do you need! Getting out can be a little bit of a hassle since everyone is trying to get to the same place. It nearly took us about 20 minutes to finally get a cab back to South Beach. One thing I'll have to say, there's no place like Oracle Arena and the Warriors fan. If you've never been there you have to go because the fans go loud there and the arena is always packed. read more

The stadium is located in downtown Miami and on a regular day traffic is terrible and getting in and out is a nightmare. Even worse on a game night that happens to be on Sat. The stadium itself is nice. The seats not too comfortable. Very expansive drinks in the bars and expansive parking! read more

I dig arenas, as a general rule. They're ALWAYS, without exception, the scene of serious good times. And this experience was no different. We hit up the AAA for a Chris Brown concert. Not someone I ever thought I'd see live (much less his tourmates Bow Wow and T-Pain), but for a $20 Groupon deal, how could we resist? The arena itself is pretty sweet. Like any venue, drinks and food are wayyyy overpriced, but that's a given. The seats are comfortable. We were in the nosebleeds, for real, but our view was still pretty decent, so I'm imagine all seats are good seats (relatively speaking). I will definitely return here for future events - hopefully a Heat game! Parking is also totally easy - there are tons of lots nearby for reasonable prices of $10 or $15. One downside - I totally agree with Richard K ... how on earth did they overlook cupholders?!?! read more

I'm boycotting this place!!! $18 for a Mojito, $7 for bottled water and $13 for a can of beer. OH AND NO WATER FOUNTAINS ANYWHERE!!! Came here on May 13 for Carlos Vives concert that was supposed to start at 8pm. 9:05 and nothing has started yet. AA arena makes you wait so you spend more money on drinks. DON'T FALL FOR IT!! read more

I went to my very first live basketball game ever when the nets played the heat a few weeks ago. what an experience! (Thanks Mike!!) We were lucky enough to find a close spot to park about two blocks from the arena for a reasonable (in miami) twenty bucks...with an actual valet lol! when we got to the arena, a local marching band was cavorting with the crowd outside the main entrance, and as we were early, we stopped to watch. I love the marching band vibe in general, and this wonderful little troupe, composed of only brass and percussion, was just fantastic. The drum major deserves a scholarship to a big ten school! I ended up getting dragged into a salsa number with them, and loved every minute! The stadium seats we had were absolutely fantastic...I could see antoine and wade sweat! We had great seats, at a great price. We also had acess to the VIP lounge downstairs, which was serving snacks and drinks, and allowing the opportunity to rub elbows with the creme de la creme and watch the game on huge plasmas from the comfort of your couch. (whatever) . Despite my sports fantatical heart not understanding the lounge couch when the court is RIGHT THERE....!!!!......it was cool to see it anyway and the food smelled great even though I was too keyed up to taste it. The Bacardi and cokes we ordered were an obsene 30 something a round....whew! maybe I will stick to beer next time....or bring a flask! read more

A very narrow and tight arena. We came to watch the Heat play the Lakers. Stairs are very steep. Very tight arena. Did not enjoy the seating. Paid top dollar for our seating and it still was way up. Overall enjoyed the game however. Food was interesting. They ran out of food before the first quarter at some of the places. Regular beer was $11, kind of pricey. Let's Go Lakers. read more

We went to a Miami Heat game here and had a very nice time. We got there very early (thanks to the recommendations here) and weren't upset that we did. The security lines were CRAZY close to game time and many folks didn't get in by the start of the game. Yes, the concessions are pricey, but that is to be expected at any area like this. All of the employees we came into contact with were very friendly. read more

I'd rather fall ass first into a dildo factory than to cheer on the Miami heat, but we were in town with nothing to do on a Friday Night while my BFF was having dinner with her future mother and sister-in-law. So why the hell not? I'm from Chicago and we have die hard sports fans, not those I'm only a fan when Lebron was playing for the Heat types. I will say it was a nice arena, wasn't too crowded. Super Clean. We had terrible last minute seats and i still felt like I had a great seat and could see everything. I think I paid like 27 bucks for two import beers, but ehhh, that's expected at sporting events. read more

After years of concert going I have seen AAA evolve. It was my first Heat game in about 2 years last night and I enjoyed the playoff preview. What really threw it over the top was the best club sandwich possibly ever!! The Chicken Ciao concession has great service with people who work well under pressure. read more

I've come to the Arena a few times for concerts, but last night was my first time seeing a basketball game!. I had so much fun watching the Heat vs Chicago Bulls. Finding parking was no problem, the line to get in went by fairly quick and we were seated promptly. There's food everywhere, although I was a bit dissapointed to have made a huge line, to then be told they did not have any more veggie burgers! well, I guess that's expected when there's are so many people!! Food a bit overpriced...but that's also expected. Overall, a good experience. I am not a sports fanatic, but If I am ever invited to watch another game, I'd def come back! read more

Last Sunday my mom (79) went to Andrea Bocelli's concert. While accessing the stadium, her entrance fell and she just noticed when she was on the first floor. She was very worried, trying to go down to pick it up, when one of the events service employees approached her to ask what was wrong. He run downstairs, picked the ticket and brought it to her. Came to see Los Fabulosos Cadillacs here on Wednesday, and in previous instances had the chance to also see The Miami Heat basketball team play, and watch other shows. I was very impressed with the security at the venue for this event. Everything was clearly marked, the entrance lines were moving quickly, ushers were immediately on hand to walk everyone to their seats, and when the concert started they did a GREAT job of keeping people off the aisles. I know most people would want to be able to run down the aisles to get closer to the stage, but being claustrophobic, it is super important for me to have the aisles free and clear in case I need to run out. I thought the sound was excellent, but I'm not too keen on audio, so I can only speak for the normal ear. Also, the stage set up was pretty good, as I looked around me, I could imagine everyone in the arena had a pretty good view of the show. Bathrooms: pretty clean. I went before the show and after the show. I expected for them to be clean before and super dirty/messy afterward, but was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to roll up my jeans after the show to avoid wet floor spots. Props to the cleaning crew at AA who did a great job that night. I can't comment on parking because I walked, but I would recommend AA to implement some sort of trolley system where it picks up people all up and down Biscayne - jeje - I think that would be a good idea. One negative - I was on the floor and I felt the rows of seats were too close together. Of course I understand that this is done so they can fit as many people as possible on the floor and charge for more high priced tickets - but as I jumped to the music I would scrape the front and back of my legs against the metal on the seats, ending up with a bunch of bruises and scrapes on my legs - but I guess it doesn't hurt when you're having fun. read more

I'm not a sports fan, so I've only come here for concerts. I like the Bank Atlantic Center better but it is too far away. Parking here sucks, and this being Miami, will never get fixed. Basically, drive to your nearest metro stop and ride into downtown. The arena itself is fine, except I'm sure all the other ladies out there in high heels will agree with me that the 1000 steps out front are highly unnecessary. Location is great, and there are some decent places to eat downtown if tonight is a dinner and a show kinda thing. read more

I went to see Disney On Ice the worst show ever. The way the presente the show only benefits the people that bought tickets to see it from the front, if you are on the side the Disney characters do to even bother to sign or act for these sides is like you do not exist. Only when they are closing the shows the secondary characters wave good by to the people on the sides. None of the choreography was plan or intended for the people that is sitting on the sides of the arena. It was only intended for the ones that have front look at the stage. Do not go is a waste of money. read more

Attended the arena last night for Madonna's World Tour Concert. Staff were organized and the crowd was lively. The arena itself is very clean and nicely lit from the outside. Event parking is $30 (no thanks), so we just walked from our hotel...which ended up being the most convenient option. TIP: careful wearing heels and climbing up to the upper level rows...best done BEFORE alcohol consumption. Speaking from personal opinion...I wouldn't come back to watch a live show without a lower-level ticket...the sound is not the same. Camera shots don't focus as well and it's just not as fun. read more

If you're here for a Heat game, then sitting in the 100's section or lower is the way to go. Not only can you see player's faces, but you can actually hear some chatter. And when the arena gets noisy, you really hear it and feel it when you sit closer to the floor. If you decide to eat at the the arena, then know there are more options than just hot dogs and burgers. My GF and I tried the gyros (chicken, beef & lamb). Both options were dry but buried with lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. At $12 each, they're probably the healthiest option here (cash only btw). Import beers are really expensive. Like one beer equals a 12 pack at your local liquor store expensive. If only there was a way to invest in beer prices at sporting events. I remember when I could buy a Heineken for $5 at an NFL game. Parking is a nightmare here. Let me rephrase that, trying to leave any of the off-site parking lots after the game is a nightmare. Be prepared to spend 20 minutes or so in gridlock during weekend games, 10+ minutes during the week. But you won't mind the wait so much if the Heat win. AMAZING this is the way to go to the heat game. You can valet park right at the doors that let you up to the box seats, and the lounge. There is food, and alcohol everywhere you go and it is free. Well, I guess when you drop 6 figures on box seats for the year it should be free. There is dessert tables all over, with giant cookies, chocolate dipped rice crispy treats, jelly beans bags. I am totally obssessed with this place ! We went for a pre-season game so of coarse it was not as crowded as it will be during the actual season. You can't ask for a better way to see a game. Concerts, games, overall good times! I have been to several Miami Heat games and concerts here. I haven't been in the past few years, but it's always hopping from what I can remember. I highly recommend coming here for a basketball game. They are a lot of fun. Too bad the tickets are outrageous this season due to the new "thrice" that came on board. NPS = 9 I love the American Airlines Areana. Home of the Miami Heat! Lets go, Heat! The best part of the American Airlines Arena is the Dewar's Club. It is the private section of the arena where you can get a private box and wine/dine yourself. Some tips: -Do not get caught selling tickets just outside of the arena. -Do not buy merchandise in the arena, it is HIGHLY overpriced. Buy it at a Sports Authority or Champs before getting to the arena. -Try to take the Metro Mover to get to the arena. Parking is a nightmare. -When there are two minutes left in each half, remember to yell "DOS MINUTOS!" Overall, a great place to have a blast with friends. read more

I have attended Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens for two summers in a row for Rolling Loud music…read morefestival, and each time I have been enthralled and incredibly impressed with the stadium's surrounding landscape, and complete attention to detail in the festival's functionality and decor. I have never been inside the actual stadium structure, only the area surrounding the building, just to be clear. But it is a truly impressive piece of real estate. The bathrooms are great, there are water stations at every corner, medics always in sight, and as a regular festival-goer, there is not really much else I can ask for that Rolling Loud at Hard Rock Stadium does not already provide. The times I have had here have been unbelieveabely amazing and high in energy. The place is quite vast and it can be easy to get confused directionally, so a map is essential. The only notably bothersome thing is the process of getting to-and-from the stadium. There are no public transportation options that take you anywhere near the stadium grounds, as Miami Gardens is located more inland from the coast in a random section of town. Getting to the area via taxi includes to-be-expected traffic and at least $20 in your pocket if you're coming from the east. But getting home is a complete nightmare. Your only options are Uber, Lyft, or a taxi that will charge you $200 to take you 15 miles to Dania Beach. Every night of the festival, when 12 a.m. hit and everyone would rush to get out and call their Ubers, the Uber and Lyft apps were successful in getting absolutely nobody home. For hours it would be like this. The apps didn't work because of so many people using them all at once. On one of the nights I was in attendance, the show ended and my friend and I walked over 3 miles away (hoping our odds of finding a ride would increase the further away we were from the place) from the stadium on 2-foot wide sidewalks past 12 at night, searching high and low for a taxi sitting stationary in the surrounding neighborhood traffic that would be willing to take us to our hotel in Hollywood Beach for a price lower than $180. Once we were in the car, it was standstill traffic for miles until we got home. All of the taxis we came across before this either already had passengers in the car or were simply unwilling to take anybody at all unless we would pay an absurd amount of money. There isn't much advice I can give regarding this issue, because unless you are okay with leaving the event you paid for early in order to beat the congestion, there's not a lot you can do except hope you win the rideshare lottery for the night. Expect to pay a pretty penny and have your patience tested, while also carrying home some amazing memories.

The staff are less friendly. We were here for the Norway vs England quarter final match. There were fans who didn't pay for category 1 tickets but had the audacity to sit in the 100 sections! Nobody was checking tickets. There's a lot of food options at each section. There are no restaurants right outside the stadium. The stadium is also open and no shade from the sun unless you're in the nosebleed section. Around the stadium is the fan zone. We got our free souvenirs: bracelets from Bank of America, Coke cups from the Coke stands, and cups from Michelob. There was a super long line for the big FIFA store. Some people grabbed 5-10 match scarves so there was none left for everyone else. Entertainment included Ellie Goulding but the audio wasn't working properly so you couldn't hear her. Steve Aoki performed at halftime for 64,478 fans.

During that time, I attended Game 2 of the 2005 Eastern Conference semifinals versus the Washington Wizards; a 108-102 Heat victory led by Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. I bought a "Wade County" T-shirt and it was one of my favorite T-shirts. The Heat would later go on to win their first NBA championship the following year (2006). At that time, little did I know Miami would deliver the most heartbreaking loss of my NBA fandom seven to eight years later in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. That was the Ray Allen three and the Heat surviving, 103-100 in OT, against the San Antonio Spurs. You see, I was a diehard Tim Duncan-era Spurs fan. But, as Tim said himself after the Spurs won the 2014 title, winning in 2014 made 2013 okay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cHiM4WFpV4 Props to D-Wade, Pat Riley, Erik Spoelstra, and the Heat for winning those three titles in 2006, 2012, and 2013. Shout-out to Chris Bosh, out of Georgia Tech (my alma mater), as well. As much as the Heat were the Spurs' nemesis in 2013-2014, I did think it was impressive how they successfully constructed a roster to complement the Big Three and go to the NBA Finals all four years (2011-2014) of that era. Also, shout-out to Bam Adebayo, who scored 83 points earlier this year (2026), breaking Kobe Bryant's 81 for second-most points scored in a game. Bam played high school ball in my hometown: High Point, North Carolina.

It was a fun 4 year stretch as the Miami HEAT was in the NBA Finals for 4 straight years and won 2 Championships. The championship parade at the historic Biscayne Boulevard was awesome, and the championship celebration inside the arena after the parade was great! Miami HEAT players, coaches and personnel were always nice, met most of them and some of the staff were still working there and my friends to this day. Met them again in recent weeks as I went to a couple of HEAT events. The arena is beautiful, nice ocean and city view from the arena and accessible via bus or train, and parking is available inside the arena and plenty of street parking available. A lot of vendors inside the arena selling good food and drinks, and bars too. I always have a great time and have a five star experience and moments whenever I go to a Miami HEAT game or events. You can see this arena off of the Sawgrass Expressway and it's pretty easy to navigate to. I recently attended the Ariana Grande concert at this venue and I loved how on top of communication they were on their social media handles. Compared to other concerts I've been to and seen for the prep beforehand, they were always transparent with their bag policy, safety measures, door open times, and parking information. This concert venue was also way easier to navigate into than most others that I've attended. For parking, they charge a ridiculous amount, at least for the concert I went to. $50 for parking may be somewhat the norm nowadays but I think that is crazy considering how heavy ticket prices are. There is truly no reason to charge that much, at least from what I can tell. That on top of there being a bottleneck when leaving the venue is a bit wild. We opted to park at Sawgrass across the street and walk over, as did a lot of folks. This was the best way to pregame as a lot of concert goers chose to eat at one of the nearby restaurants. Other than the parking, a great venue. The staff was helpful and friendly. I felt safe the entire time and there was a good amount of food options, drink options, bathrooms, and space.

Now, full disclosure: I'm not a huge theatre person. I'd much rather be curled up on my couch than paying to periodically shush strangers. But iPic makes leaving my house worth it. The oversized recliners, cozy blankets, in-seat service, and a good movie? That's a solid date night. Now onto the important part. My biggest tip is to arrive 30 minutes before showtime so you're not trying to read the menu by flashlight once the previews start. Since we caught an afternoon showing, I wanted something a little lighter and ordered the Harvest Bowl, while hubby went with the bison burger and sweet potato fries. I treated myself to one Old Fashioned, and he kept it simple with a beer. Everything arrived before the movie started, which I always appreciate. Just be warned... once those lights go down, you're pretty much on your own trying to guide food from plate to mouth. I find it to be a fun challenge. The Harvest Bowl was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving with chickpeas, quinoa, avocado, and plenty of green. The sweet potato fries were good too. I would've loved a little more crisp on them, but let's be honest that's usually the trade-off with sweet potato. The portions were just right. Filling enough to enjoy without immediately falling asleep in those dangerously comfortable recliners. (Although... maybe skip the late-night showing if you're anything like me.) If you're looking for an easy date night with good food and a comfortable movie experience, iPic remains as my solid choice.

I visited the Miami airlines arena many of times but the last time I was there I was treated like trash by one of their supposedly supervisors her name is Evonne Bradley. She is very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. She makes me never want to come to the arena again. I won't ever recommend anyone to go the arena if they've never been there because of her. I saw her and a worker of hers sitting in the stairs gossiping instead of making sure everything was okay in the area. I won't be going there anymore . I left the early because of her and I felt like I wasted my money because I couldn't enjoy myself. They need to get rid of that evil lady, Evonne Bradley. If I could rate a negative 0 stars because of her I would. The arena is a nice place but not with her, she does not belong there. read more

parking sucks, hard to find and a big ripoff. Arena staff are reud. Went there for a game with my brother. I was in section 417, he was 403. I agreed to meet him at his section right after the game, but when I tried walking over there, some dumb bitch worker had it blocked off. I told her I had to meet my brother, and she said they don't want you going this. Fine, but we already had a verbal agreement and having paid mucho money we can meet wherever we want. Gonna call the arena and bitch. read more

I just went to a Miami Heat game here last night and had a great time. It has been a while since I went to a heat game and they have changed it quite a bit. The main colors are now Black and White not so much red. They added a number of areas to sell more merchandise I think to lay these players crazy salaries. The security is a bit much but with all these crazies out there I guess you have too. It was a lot of fun, parking is expensive $20 a car but what can you do... read more

Yesterday I was there, It was my first game of the Heats, and even I like hockey more then basketball, I liked this place. We won all quarters and won the game. I was sitting on the third floor, but saw all details of the game, and the fans a awesome, every time was shouting '' GO HEATS, GO HEATS'' Why I put 4 stars, because of parking, it was expensive and no place to park, I left my car at the museum parking, and that time the tax was 3 time more the usual. read more

Being from LA I was shocked when I saw the tickets prices to Miami Heat games, totally shocked. Don't get me wrong, I will forever cheer for lebron to lose, but I did enjoy his cheap ticket prices ;) I like to compare lebron to kobe like this: Tickets to see Kobe = insanely expensive.
