I absolutely love South Beach! This was my second time visiting, and it was just as much fun as I…read moreremembered. The atmosphere was so lively, and even though it was super hot, I loved every minute of it. Since the FIFA World Cup was coming up, there were decorations and displays around the area that added to the excitement. It made the whole beach feel even more energetic. There's so much to do besides just relaxing on the sand. You can walk the beachfront trails, check out the outdoor workout areas, visit the nearby restaurants and shops, or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. The beach itself was amazing. The sand was soft, the water was warm, and it was the perfect place to spend the day. Thankfully, our hotel included complimentary beach chairs, which made the experience even better. If your hotel doesn't provide them, you can always bring your own chairs or just relax on a towel or blankets. I love the Miami vibe, and South Beach is one of my favorite places to visit. It's always a fun, energetic destination, and I can't wait to come back.

The beach is wide, clean, and perfect for walking, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the ocean view. When you head toward the beach through Lummus Park, the stretch of green really welcomes you. You do have to walk quite a bit to reach the sand--it's surprisingly far from Ocean Drive. I don't think I've ever seen such a large distance between a main road and the beach before, but honestly, that's part of its charm. Palm trees, colorful lifeguard towers, and the Art Deco skyline create the classic Miami postcard scene. Whether you visit for sunrise or sunset, the vibe here is always energetic. Parking: Take my words: Park at 'Miami Beach Parking Garage [7th St]', its your best bet

A…read morefriend and I decided to try eFoiling, and after some searching, I found Miami Beach Paddleboard online and booked a session. We met our instructor, Maria, and her mom, who came along for the ride. Maria was awesome--happy, full of energy, and super easy to work with. Our original session was scheduled for Saturday, but when we arrived, the eFoil boards were having connectivity issues with their app. Maria apologized and said she'd check in with the shop owner to see if we could reschedule. In the meantime, she let us use paddleboards for free, so we still got to enjoy some time on the water. The next morning (Sunday), Maria texted to say everything was working again, so we headed back for a noon session--and it was an absolute blast. She even took some great videos of us out on the water. Definitely recommend booking a class with Maria!

Dropped in paddled around some decrepit boats moored right near super yachts. They rent you everything you need including waterproof telephone holder $5 rent $10 you own it. Owner or manager was very helpful. Equipment is inflatable only. I have never been on an inflatable until today, only epoxy. It is much lighter to walk with, that is the only plus over epoxy. They are hard to sup if any wind or bump vs epoxy. On this day it was 92 and super humid so only paddled about an hour. Time well spent. I bookmarked for next time I am in South Beach.

The company maintains and tracks the credit for any packages you may have purchased. I have taken almost ten lessons with this company over the last 3 years and they honored credits from a package over a year ago. The event is more than just a kite surfing lesson. You get to go on a boat, you go to Stiltsville or wherever the wind is best and the area safest. You also get snacks and an adult beverage for the ride back. The total time is about 4 hours. They monitor the wind and try to only go out when there is enough wind to learn. Any questions just DM me. I am happy to help. Also, there is a restaurant right by the dock you leave from. So you can grab a bite after or before. I'll try to find a photo of the kite surfing.

I was able to get up on the board but wasn't able to get a run in longer than a few seconds. That all changed with SFKB. Not only did I break past that barrier, I was flying downwind in both directions. My first lesson with them was an absolute game changer Why is it so great to learn with SFKB? Wonderful staff and instructors, great equipment and a gorgeous boat to take you out to the riding spot. They took us out to Stiltsville, a giant sandbar with great wind, shallow water and calm waves. The location has so much room to ride in, and you don't have to dodge around a ton of people like you would on the beach. It's the best place I've been to to nail down the fundamentals and get comfortable riding. After two lessons, I'm getting even more comfortable riding up and downwind and am super close to being independent. Love this crew and can't wait to get back out on the water with them! ‍
