I had a great experience buying my car from this family-owned dealership. Everyone was very kind,…read moreattentive, and helpful throughout the entire process. The quality of the car was very good and exactly as described. You can tell they truly care about their customers and the vehicles they sell. Overall, I had a positive and smooth experience at this dealership and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car!

I purchased a 2019 Nissan NV2500 from Auto Club of Miami with roughly 40,000 miles and paid more…read morethan $20,000 for it. I did not even make it all the way home before the vehicle started having problems. Since purchasing it, I have had to take it to three different mechanics just trying to figure out what is wrong with it. Two of them did not even want to get involved with the van because they had concerns about what they were seeing. The third mechanic has finally started getting somewhere and believes there may be an oil pressure sensor issue, possible catalytic converter problems, and potentially other issues still being diagnosed. The biggest concern for me is that the check engine light itself does not function. I have owned close to 100 vehicles in my life and have never once had a vehicle where the check engine light was simply broken or missing. I have also owned around six Nissan NV vans specifically because they have generally been very reliable. For a 2019 van with only about 40,000 miles to have a nonfunctioning check engine light is extremely unusual and very concerning. I cannot prove who caused the check engine light to stop functioning or when it happened, so I am not accusing any specific person of tampering with it. What I can say is that the dealership sold me a vehicle with a nonfunctioning check engine light, and serious problems became apparent almost immediately after I left. I understand the vehicle was sold as-is. I am not pretending that means the dealership promised me a warranty. But buying something as-is and buying a vehicle where a basic warning system does not even function are two very different things in my opinion. As a buyer, I reasonably expected the check engine light to work so that I could actually know if the vehicle was reporting serious problems. I have now spent nearly a month dealing with mechanics and trying to understand what exactly I purchased. I feel the condition of this vehicle was seriously misrepresented, and I would have never knowingly purchased it in this condition. At this point, I believe the reasonable solution is for Auto Club of Miami to either take the van back and refund what I paid or cover the cost of properly diagnosing and repairing the problems. Until this is resolved, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before handing over any money, including specifically verifying that the check engine light and other warning systems actually function.

I've purchased 2 vehicles from CarMax and recently traded in or sold them my 3rd. I appreciate the fact that the first offer they give is generally their best, and there is usually no room or chance for haggling or negotiating and all the BS that comes with that. Most importantly, I've never walked away feeling that I wasn't treated fairly or didn't get at least an above average deal. During our most recent experience we were buying a new car from another dealership, but their trade-in offer on our existing vehicle was very low. When we checked Kelly Blue Book/Edmunds to see what the trade-in was worth, we received an immediate offer from CarMax that was above what KBB indicated we should expect to receive at a dealership, and it was valid for several days. When we came here to do the trade-in, the process was relatively painless, though not necessarily quick. When we arrived here at around 11 a.m. on a Friday, we were about the 8th or 9th car in line to get an appraisal to either trade or sell our car. It took some time to get through that line, then the actual process of the staff examining the vehicle, taking photos and test driving it took another 15 minutes and then once done, it took about 20 minutes before the trade offer was ready for us to view inside the dealership. The offer CarMax made was in-line with the one they'd offered us via Kelly Blue Book/Edmunds a few days earlier, and in my opinion was very fair. We then had to go to the business office to accept the offer, present ID and turn over the signed title, then pull our car into the service bay and turn in the keys. They told us the paperwork would take about 40 minutes to process and that was spot on. She called us over to sign a few things via Docusign and 5 minutes later she called us back to the window where she gave us copies of all the paperwork from this transaction along with our old license plate, a check for the trade-in and we were on our way about 2 hours and change after we'd first arrived. Simple, easy and painless with a fair price for our old vehicle.

However, cars cannot last forever and when it was time to retire my beloved Rouge, my first stop was Carmax to see the value so I could use that towards a new car. On Friday, I put in all the information about my vehicle into the Carmax website and got an offer that was valid for 7 days. Carmax gave me more than Carvana and so I took that online offer to the dealership on Saturday. The dealer offered me much less than the Carmax offer - so I walked out of that deal, and went back to Carmax to see the official appraisal. I made an appointment online, arrived on time on a Sunday afternoon (the last day of the month) - and was out with my appraisal which matched the online quote in real life in 40 minutes. I found this to be quick and painless, and a great experience. I did not get a car from Carmax, but I feel like they gave me a great and fair offer on my car which helped me leverage a great deal at a dealership for a new lease.

I had originally taken my car to Carmax, and the individual that appraised my vehicle did not quote the accurate vehicle. Paula and the team at We Pay More were willing to work with me. I had gone back to Carmax for a correct appraisal and immediately, within 5 minutes Paula got back to me and worked with me to provide a better offer. She remained in contact with me the entire process. No 10-day drafts to be held at the bank for any positive equity, and reassured payoff would be made on time within 15 days. Alan and his manager Carolina strung me along and then blindsided me with a bait-and-switch. The night before, I confirmed directly with them that the vehicle was in stock and ready to go. Based on that confirmation, I took a train from Orlando to Miami -- real time and money spent on their word. While I was literally on the train, unable to just turn around, they called to tell me the terms had changed: I now had to put down $3,500 and finance through their dealership, or they'd sell the vehicle to someone else. I had already arranged my own financing through my bank, and it was obvious they simply didn't want that deal -- so they used my own travel against me to force their hand. To make it worse, they had agreed to pick me up from the train station. When I arrived, no one showed. I was left stranded in Miami with no ride and no vehicle, forced to figure out my own way home after they wasted an entire day of my time. If you value honesty, basic courtesy, or just not being stranded in another city, take your business elsewhere. Alan and Carolina do not deserve your trust or your money.
