I then walked out and tried to locate the mri disc I had brought and then left for good. No explanations at all from the front desk and no apologies. Nearly a year and a half later, I received a bill totaling close to $2,000--despite the sessions being basic stretching exercises. I contacted Kintsugi to understand the charges and the delayed billing. I was told the coding was done by the therapist and that the billing came from a third-party company--not Kintsugi. However, the bill had Kintsugi's name and contact number, which makes the attempt to shift responsibility feel dismissive and unprofessional. Not only were the charges excessive for simple stretching, but I also stopped attending because I could perform these exercises independently. What's most disappointing is that the billing was delayed until I was no longer working and on a very tight budget. This timing added unnecessary financial stress. During my call, the person I spoke with said he would inform the owner but couldn't offer any resolution. He later left me a voicemail saying he felt I was mad at him, which struck me as odd--I never made any personal remarks, nor did I direct any frustration toward him as an individual. The experience reflects poorly on Kintsugi's business practices and, ultimately, on the leadership that enables them.

Instead, he gave me exercises which didn't help at all with my pain. When my doctor found out after 3 weeks he hadn't done any of the treatments she referred me for, she was not happy. She referred me to a different ATI location, and after 3 weeks of the actual treatments she wanted my ankle was much better. Also, both locations were pretty run-down and their equipment was pretty old.

We had a visit here for my daughter's sever's. The appointment was fine. I already knew she had…read moresever's, it was more just to see if we could get x-rays to determine that her growth plate activity was normal and there were no fractures and if there was anything he would recommend doing and not doing. He was able to determine there was nothing abnormal, but didn't really have too much else to say except she'll eventually grow out of it (which we knew) and can continue or not continue activity at her own judgement. What I wanted to point out is the extreme pricing of the appointment. Be aware before you take any type of equipment from them or at least ask about cost of service/item. They charged $155 for a very janky night splint, where you can get one of much higher quality on Amazon or other sellers for a mere $25. The @15 minute "low-complexity" appointment was $250. The only thing not ridiculously priced was the radiographs, but these were still over $100. If you have foot problems, and are unsure if your insurance will cover all costs, you may want to shop around before you choose this location.

She's also good about removing an exercise if it's not doing what's intended so I'm not wasting my time. She does dry needling which has been a game-changer for me. It's fraction of the cost or time as a massage but has the same and longer lasting results. I can't recommend her highly enough. By far the best Physical Therapist I've ever worked with.
