I cannot recommend this office based on my recent experience…read more What started as a recommendation to replace a filling with an inlay turned into a month long ordeal of pain and, eventually, an emergency root canal. Throughout the process, I often felt dismissed and rushed. Despite returning multiple times with ongoing pain, my concerns were not fully addressed until a crown was suggested. While I appreciated a same day appointment, it took four hours, during which I was left alone in the chair for over an hour without anyone checking in on me with a drilled open tooth as my local anesthesia wore off. When the pain continued after the crown, I sought a second opinion from an endodontist. They discovered my root was dying, a possibility never mentioned at PB Smiles, and immediately put me on antibiotics. I truly wonder how long it would have taken PB smiles to catch this infection had I not taken it upon myself to find another opinion. The endodontist also told me that the crown was poorly seated and would likely need replacement within a few years and told me in no uncertain terms that I should that I should find a new general dentist. While I understand procedures have risks, the lack of empathy and the failure to investigate the source of my pain led to weeks of unnecessary suffering. And I honestly wonder if the inlay and subsequent crown were even necessary. If you value feeling heard and receiving thorough clinical care, I would suggest looking elsewhere

By the enamel of Poseidon, Singing Hills Dentistry 2 is an absolute marvel of modern civilization…read more I strolled in expecting the usual whirring tools and quiet fear, but instead was greeted by a staff so warm, welcoming, and professional it felt like being hugged by America itself. They explained every step with the calm confidence of a man who owns many rich mahogany bookshelves, and somehow made sitting in a dental chair feel... dignified. The dentist? A true artisan of the mouth. Gentle, thorough, and precise--like a jazz flute solo for your teeth. The entire process was smoother than a perfectly delivered sign-off, and I walked out with a smile so clean it could anchor the evening news. Five stars. I trust Singing Hills Dentistry 2 with my teeth, my smile, and frankly, my legacy. Stay classy, you beautiful guardians of oral health.

I see the Dentist that runs the Pacific Beach Location is in the comments doing what she does best…read more I had one visit with this Location and that was a pretty good experience until the follow-up. Full transparency especially with the prices that they are charging is all I needed to continue with services here. I came in on a Thursday with tooth pain from multiple teeth-- they took xrays and did a cleaning-- I mean thanks for the cleaning but my toothpain is what I needed to be dealt with. Not a big deal, since my insurance covered it-- was told I was going to be given some meds for pain and go over the treatment plan. Brought me out to the lobby and scheduled me for another visit-- All be it that prescriptions are electronic these days-- thought okay, they'll send it over to CVS and I'll get an alert from them. Nope nothing was sent, tried to see if I can call them but-- come to find out they were closed on Friday and the weekend. I went through the whole weekend trying to subdue the pain. Came in on time Monday morning and was met with the great ladies upfront-- told them about not receiving meds and they apologize and looked into it. The reply was you could've text us-- nice to know, you could've told me that. Okay, now I'm getting a little upset. I honestly didn't know why I was seeing another person-- maybe to go over my treatment plan-- yeah well Dr. Jamma went through the xrays and notes that Ms. Chan had done and said that she was agreed with the plan-- Now reading all the reviews here it seems like Dr. Jamma needs to learn how to communicate better and listen to what the patients are asking for. They seem to communicate here with silence and looks-- which through me for a loop. I asked for the full breakdown of costs for all that needed to be done, truth be told, it was quite a few things I need to get done--which I went in knowing-- but instead of gathering the information I requested for, they decided that they were only going to give me what they thought I needed to see and decided to tell me what I was gonna choose to do-- After several attempts to try to have Dr. Jamma listen to my concerns-- she dismissed me several times and I checked out-- I walked out of the exam room and Dr Jamma and her assistant decided to follow me out to the lobby still running her mouth about my finances-- in the lobby-- I was livid at this point-- I told the front desk to bill me for whatever I owed at this visit and walked out. I should've read all the reviews and seen all the comments from Dr Jamma and would've never came here. Dr Jamma-- You can say you have experience for 50 years in this industry and I still won't care. That doesn't matter if you sit there and dismiss your patients and try to actively fight them on matters that they don't understand and was not thoroughly explained from the beginning-- All I requested for was breakdown in costs--FULL TRANSPARENCY, but was met with be-foolery-- other procedures that needed to be done but wasn't told I needed-- being pushed for a payment plan option-- I'll be contacting your office for a copy of my xray's and the full report of what procedures you think I need done. Thank you for sending my prescription to the pharmacy-- I hope you have the future you deserve.

Beware of All Coast Dental…read more Where do I even begin? In my adult life, I've never been asked to pay for dental services before receiving them -- but All Coast Dental seems to have made that their policy. Every visit, I've paid in full at the end of my appointment. I always asked them to run my insurance beforehand so I could have a clear understanding of costs, but they were consistently unhelpful. After I changed jobs and insurance, I informed them right away -- yet they still tried to blame billing issues on me. Their customer service is non-existent. My last straw was during a crown procedure they claimed I needed (even though I had zero issues with the existing one). The procedure, which was supposed to take less than an hour, turned into over two hours of extreme pain. While I was in the chair and in severe discomfort, they made me sign something -- completely inappropriate given my condition. My tooth hurt for weeks afterward. To make matters worse, my wife was told she also needed to replace her crown. Thankfully, I told her to get a second opinion, and she was told she didn't need it at all. That speaks volumes. Now they're saying I owe a balance, despite always paying immediately whenever they messed up billing in the past. They even tried to make me responsible for my spouse's bill when we had clearly stated we'd each handle our own. I get that some people might have to use them because they're in-network, but consider this your warning -- plenty of other dental offices are worth the wait. I'm likely going to have to take this to small claims court just to settle the matter. I just wish someone had left a review like this before I went through it.
