Here's yet ANOTHER $50 dollar charge!
    Dennis F.

Deceptive. My husband Michael keeps getting billed multiple times, over and over, $50 dollars for missed appointments. Not only do they schedule appointments months out; they conveniently forget to notify the client. Horrendous follow through; do not believe the hype about, "Dr. Wolf's bedside manner with patience..." this place is a money pit. A practice that gauges clients for absolutely everything. Duplicitous business practices. Be weary of Dr. Money Bags!

This dentist is an absolute joke. I regret going here. He did significant and permanent damage to my enamel while filling a cavity

The guys and gals at PB Smiles were great. Took my anxiety from a 10 to a 3. I felt seen, heard,…read moreand not judged for not having any dental care for many many years. Every one was professional (with a a dab or 2 of lightheartedness) and took care of my financial situation with care and understanding. I highly recommend PB Smiles to anyone in San Diego and beyond.

I never write reviews, but this experience was so ridiculous that I feel obligated to warn people…read more I went to PB Smiles for a cleaning and somehow left with a 7-visit, $2,000+ out-of-pocket treatment plan (over $8,000 without insurance). This included a crown, inlay, several fillings, and an entire-mouth laser treatment because I supposedly had developed gum disease in the year since I had last seen them. The hygienist and dentist were both incredibly rude and insensitive, and they made me feel ashamed and embarrassed about my teeth rather than actually helping me. I told a friend about the experience afterward, and they said it sounded like I had been treated as if I were an addict about to lose all of my teeth, which is basically how I felt leaving that place. I've struggled with cavities since I was young, but no dental office has ever treated me like this before. The communication between the staff and the general level of care and attention were completely missing. I told the woman who took my X-rays that I had sensitivity when flossing a particular tooth. When the hygienist came in to measure my gums, she said she heard I was experiencing bleeding on one of my teeth. I corrected her and explained that, no, it was just sensitivity when flossing and biting. Then, when the dentist came in, he said, "Okay, so you're experiencing no issues or sensitivities, correct?" I told him again that I had already told both women that I had a tooth that was sensitive when I flossed. He said that was because I had gum disease and needed the laser treatment. I explained that the sensitivity was on the top of the tooth, and he then said that was why I needed the crown. The funniest part is that after spending nearly two hours there, I still didn't even get the cleaning I came in for. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from a dentist who was recommended to me. Turns out I only needed two fillings, and my gums are completely fine. He found no need for the laser treatment, crown, inlay, or the whole $2,000 treatment plan. He also told me that he has seen other patients who came to him with similar experiences after being seen at PB Smiles and other "Smiles" locations. When I called PB Smiles to cancel and told the front desk that I had gotten a second opinion and believed they were trying to scam me, the woman I spoke to immediately became defensive and said that different dentists can recommend different treatments. Different treatment plans I understand, but how does PB Smiles measure every single area of my gums 3+ mm deeper than the other dentist? At that point, the difference feels a lot less like "different treatment philosophies" and a lot more like a very expensive (and terribly executed) sales pitch. Get a second opinion before agreeing to anything here. I'm extremely glad I did.

By the enamel of Poseidon, Singing Hills Dentistry 2 is an absolute marvel of modern civilization…read more I strolled in expecting the usual whirring tools and quiet fear, but instead was greeted by a staff so warm, welcoming, and professional it felt like being hugged by America itself. They explained every step with the calm confidence of a man who owns many rich mahogany bookshelves, and somehow made sitting in a dental chair feel... dignified. The dentist? A true artisan of the mouth. Gentle, thorough, and precise--like a jazz flute solo for your teeth. The entire process was smoother than a perfectly delivered sign-off, and I walked out with a smile so clean it could anchor the evening news. Five stars. I trust Singing Hills Dentistry 2 with my teeth, my smile, and frankly, my legacy. Stay classy, you beautiful guardians of oral health.

I see the Dentist that runs the Pacific Beach Location is in the comments doing what she does best…read more I had one visit with this Location and that was a pretty good experience until the follow-up. Full transparency especially with the prices that they are charging is all I needed to continue with services here. I came in on a Thursday with tooth pain from multiple teeth-- they took xrays and did a cleaning-- I mean thanks for the cleaning but my toothpain is what I needed to be dealt with. Not a big deal, since my insurance covered it-- was told I was going to be given some meds for pain and go over the treatment plan. Brought me out to the lobby and scheduled me for another visit-- All be it that prescriptions are electronic these days-- thought okay, they'll send it over to CVS and I'll get an alert from them. Nope nothing was sent, tried to see if I can call them but-- come to find out they were closed on Friday and the weekend. I went through the whole weekend trying to subdue the pain. Came in on time Monday morning and was met with the great ladies upfront-- told them about not receiving meds and they apologize and looked into it. The reply was you could've text us-- nice to know, you could've told me that. Okay, now I'm getting a little upset. I honestly didn't know why I was seeing another person-- maybe to go over my treatment plan-- yeah well Dr. Jamma went through the xrays and notes that Ms. Chan had done and said that she was agreed with the plan-- Now reading all the reviews here it seems like Dr. Jamma needs to learn how to communicate better and listen to what the patients are asking for. They seem to communicate here with silence and looks-- which through me for a loop. I asked for the full breakdown of costs for all that needed to be done, truth be told, it was quite a few things I need to get done--which I went in knowing-- but instead of gathering the information I requested for, they decided that they were only going to give me what they thought I needed to see and decided to tell me what I was gonna choose to do-- After several attempts to try to have Dr. Jamma listen to my concerns-- she dismissed me several times and I checked out-- I walked out of the exam room and Dr Jamma and her assistant decided to follow me out to the lobby still running her mouth about my finances-- in the lobby-- I was livid at this point-- I told the front desk to bill me for whatever I owed at this visit and walked out. I should've read all the reviews and seen all the comments from Dr Jamma and would've never came here. Dr Jamma-- You can say you have experience for 50 years in this industry and I still won't care. That doesn't matter if you sit there and dismiss your patients and try to actively fight them on matters that they don't understand and was not thoroughly explained from the beginning-- All I requested for was breakdown in costs--FULL TRANSPARENCY, but was met with be-foolery-- other procedures that needed to be done but wasn't told I needed-- being pushed for a payment plan option-- I'll be contacting your office for a copy of my xray's and the full report of what procedures you think I need done. Thank you for sending my prescription to the pharmacy-- I hope you have the future you deserve.
