Dr. Wolff's front office assistant called me a liar about calling in to reschedule my appoint on time. Then when my car wouldn't start the morning of my rescheduled appointment they showed me no grace and she told me I would be charged. It was poor customer service and very disheartening. I am a dentist's worst nightmare. I have had multiple bad dental experiences. I have a horrible gag reflex. Needles freak me out. The regular numbing agents don't work well on me. I just want to start by saying that Dr. Randy Wolff deserves 10 stars.. I am a college student from Massachusetts and do not have dental insurance out here so I was in a panic when my underwire broke and my teeth started shifting out of place. I posted on the next-door app (local neighborhood social platform) hoping people could give advice for a cheap fix at a trustable dentist. I never thought an actual dentist would message me himself! Dr. Randy Wolff got me into his office fast, and charged me significantly less than it should have cost for re-glueing my underwire for me. I was referred to Dr. Randy Wolff from my friend Lane. I made an appointment to see Dr. Wolff about a year ago, and I've been back at his office about 2-3 times since for the regular/cleaning routine. The facility is very clean and well kept. I like how the bathrooms are always stocked with floss, toothpaste, tissue, soap, etc. - all the good stuff for your teeth, and it smells good. I guess I have a thing against establishments with grimey restrooms, so this was a plus for me. The staff all seem attentive and the one thing that they do is REMIND you of your appointment (Good to have reminders... especially for the dentist!). I kid you not, this is the first dental office where I've been to that will email you to notify you of your up coming appointment, and then! you also get a nice phone call the day before just to check in to remind you again. Make sure you call back to re schedule if you can't make it because there is a no show charge. Ok, the final thing that sets this place apart is....... FLOSSING! Seriously, I have never been to a dental office where they actually sit with you in front of the mirror to demonstrate the "right" way to floss- kinda scary when you know what the right way to floss looks like but needed! They dental hygienist all seem to do a good job at cleaning my teeth- i've had a different person clean each time I come in--they seem to work extra hard to get the yucky/nasty stuff out, ewwww... ! They also remind you to floss and they tell you which areas you should focus on most when flossing because they're cleaning your teeth, and they can tell which areas of your teeth you've been neglecting! Anyways, after you're all done with the cleaning, the hygienist will floss your teeth and send you off with a bag of goodies! yay! I feel good about my clean teeth! Time to floss! read more

I went to Dr. Wolff because he was recommended as a dentist who took exceptional care of anxious patients. This was not my experience. After two visits and two lengthy phone conversations with him, he scheduled me for what I was told would be the beginning of my treatment. Instead, when I got there HE WANTED TO TALK SOME MORE. I told him I thought we were getting my teeth charted for insurance purposes so that we could begin the treatment I so desperately need. I told him I preferred to do that, and required nitrous for the shots that would be necessary. He told me in an extremely loud voice which carried the length of his office that "nitrous was for children" and he didn't use it. When I told him that was the first question I asked his staff before ever scheduling an appointment and they assured me he does, he said "oh they don't know - I've never told them I don't use it". This is supposedly a staff that has worked with him for years. In the meantime, his three or four year old daughter was playing in and out of the examination rooms and the rest of the staff was walking up and down the hallway peering into the cubicle I was in. The only professional in his office is Dora, one of his clinicians, who was so very empathetic and did her best to alleviate my embarrassment and fear. Ultimately, he refused to give me anything at all before probing my mouth (although he did state he could "render me unconcious with halcyon") and I had no choice but to leave. He lied to me about his method of treatment and squeezed two visits, a FULL (and I mean full) set of xrays, and a visit to a dentist buddy of his without ever actually doing any work of any kind on my mouth. Additionally, he embarrassed and bullied me while I was there because I insisted on getting something for anxiety and pain (something he is supposed to specialize in) before letting him work. I wouldn't recommend him to an enemy - much less to someone I wanted to remain friends with. read more

Dr. Wolff is amazing--hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. My jaw is pretty messed up and so going to the dentist has always been a painful ordeal for me and I've never been able to get anything done without being under general anesthesia. Dr. Wolff is very in tune with my special needs and has made going to the dentist a pleasant (and often entertaining) experience. My first bad review ever but I felt very frustrated with customer service and then billing. Dr Wolff was nice and cleaning was fine but couldn't believe the bill I received. I have insurance and when I received the bill I thought there was a mistake. I called to discuss and the lady was very short and said yes youowe almost $200 after insurance for a cleaning. I said are you sure, lots of places offer $59 first time cleaning and X-rays with no insurance. My insurance paid $177 already. Almost $400 for cleaning? She said yes and gave no sympathy at all and was quick to say she didn't care if I ever came back but wanted full payment now. I paid it and asked again, are you sure you don't want me as a patient and she said she would close my account now and she acted so rude about it that I couldn't believe it. I have never been told that my business was not important and that if I didn't like paying $400 for a cleaning then don't come back. Don't worry I won't! read more

Dr Randy Wolff is... well, obsessed with dentistry. This man and his staff are phenomenal! It all started with a dental cleaning by the dental hygienist. She must be some kind of savant (sans the idiot), her obsessive nature dug out every last bit of tartar and plaque, thank god she doesn't perform colonoscopies. The Doc himself was more patient and than any other I've ever been to, and I am 44yrs old. He conducts himself with professionalism and a dash of humor, but most importantly views it as his divine duty to educate the patient in detail about procedures, dental hygiene, and the particularities of the individual's very own unique word hole. I've been going to Dr. Wolff for approximately ten years. I have had more than my share of dental work in the past - soft teeth with tons of fillings from when I was a kid. Many of these fillings have given out over time, and Dr. Wolff has been fabulous with all work performed. He is sensitive to any discomfort, and will stop and provide additional lidocaine, if needed. He is a perfectionist with crowns, and ensures they fit properly to avoid any damage to the tooth. His staff is wonderful - always helpful, professional and courteous.
