Amazing staff and wonderful doctors! My mom had two…read moresurgeries with Dr. Nazari, and we were deeply impressed by the level of expertise and professionalism from this outstanding team. Dr. Kourosh Nazari is truly one of the best surgeons in the DMV area. Everyone is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and caring .they really know what they're doing! The surgery center staff were also amazing, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. My mom's surgeries were very successful, and she couldn't be happier. Thank you, Dr. Nazari, and the entire wonderful team!

I visited Capital Eye Consultants when my wife had an appointment with them and decided to make an…read moreappointment for my own because she was happy with their medical services. This was on 12/11/24, but I made the appointment far in the future (for 3/12/25) because had a plan to travel overseas in January or February. As you may guess I lost the track of the appointment until 2 days ago (on 4/20/25) when I received a bill from them charging me $40 for No Show fee. I called the CEC and told them that while I blame myself for not keeping a good record of the appointment, I see some faults of your own because you did not contact me about it. The lady answering my call told me their computer report shows they've sent me 2 text messages, respectively one week and 24 hours before the appointment. So I checked my text messages and couldn't find a trace of them. I called back and said that "look, I really want to renew my appointment because need some evaluation of my eyes." The lady put me on hold and consulted the issue with her supervisor and their accountant and the final answer was that, "OK, you can make another appointment but after you pay this $40." I thanked the lady and hung up but then I thought this is unfair because I really didn't have any reason to lie about the text messages. If I didn't want to show up to the appointment and had received only one of the messages, I could've called them and cancel it instead of not showing up and spending more time calling them twice. The fact is that the time spent on the phone is not considered much comparing with 90 minutes that I spent to file a complaint with the Commonwealth Of Virginia, Department Of Health Professions and now writing this lengthy review on YELP.

I have been a patient with Dr. Fein for 3 yrs. I see her once a year and sadly I am accustomed to…read moreit taking from the moment I check in to checking out 90 minutes. Today I went in for my annual appointment and 90 minutes later I still hadn't been seen by the doctor. I said something to the checkout desk and was told that the doctor had an emergency and that I would be seen next. This is at 4:30pm and I arrived at 2:50pm for a 3:00pm appointment. At 4:30pm even though I had been told I was next there were about eight other patients that had been waiting at least as long as I had and the woman lied. Someone else was called into the exam room. I had had it and with vision blurred I told the office staff that I was leaving and would never return. All of a sudden an office manager came out to listen to me and I made sure he knew that for two days I had been receiving texts from their practice making sure I was going to be on time and filling out forms online so I could make things speedier at my appointment and even though the office had known for hours that the doctor had an emergency not a single staff member came into the waiting room to let us know and give us the option of rescheduling or approximately how long the wait would be. I'll be 65 at the end of the year and work a full-time job. Had to take time off work and so did my sister to drive me to the appointment. Most of the waiting room was filled with folks much older than me with their care takers. The Retina Group of Washington in Fairfax Va can care less about their patients and their patients' time. Worse, as I was storming out, the woman who checked me in said "let me see if I can get you a tech" and I was like I had all the tests done already and she said "well the tech can tell you whether or not your tests showed anything". I was like what!!!!!! You would think that if Dr. Fein was taking care of an emergency that maybe they can come up with a backup plan like techs decide if a someone really needs wait to see the doctor today and which patients can be rescheduled to meet with Dr. Fein at a future date because the tests look fine. I am certain this isn't the only emergency that has happened with the docs that are part of this practice. I will be finding a new retina specialist and this time I will be reading the reviews first.

Parking was probably the hardest part at this location, as I'm used to going to Reston or Tysons Corner, where parking is very close to the office. Once I found parking in a lot about a quarter-mile away and walked to the office, I realized I couldn't get in without pushing an intercom button. Again, not something I was used to at the other offices that I've been to. But once I got inside, checked in, and let them know that I was trying to get lab work before my visits, they took care of signing me in for both and getting me set up. The lab tech took me back shortly after, and it was someone I knew from the Reston office. After finishing with the lab tech, the nurse practitioner quickly called me back, took care of the reason I was seeing her, and had me quickly on my way to my next appointment. I can't say enough about One Medical as a practice, and I highly recommend you give them a try if you need primary care or a new doctor.

My absolute favorite doctor Dr. Lim has left the practice so I've been hopping around whoever has been available and have found each person that I have met has been incredibly kind, smart, and sensitive to whatever issues I am facing at the time. The back and forth communication between the app is amazing and has saved me hours of my life .. and the ability to make same day appointments is life changing. They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. I am so glad that Amazon has purchased the company to make this type of quality health care more accessible for all.
