So I gotta admit the prices were more than I was expecting! There's a big sign in the front window saying 50% off And the items I wanted only gave me 25% but hey it's still a saving! So after picking my items the store would have just got a 3 star review but as I got to the till the cashier ask if I found everything I wanted and was very friendly asking me where I was from cuz of my accent and the purpose of me shopping which I said London and just shopping for gifts where she then asked if I managed to look at the jewellery and at that point she then started showing me what stock there was in then we went to the clutch bags and well she then found further bags from the back for me! It was like having my own personal shopper! Well need I have to say more I spent a further $400 on my bill but you know what it was worth it! And that's why it's now a 5 star in my eyes! read more

This is a scam. If you ever wanted to return and buy new item within the return policy time frame, what they would do is tell you after you bought the new item that it's not refundable! So let's put it in prospective you bought something for $300 a week later changed your mind and wanted to go back and buy something else, here is the tricky part, let's say you will exchange it with some other stuff that cost you $325, when you get to the cashier they will happily execute the exchange and then will tell you that next time if you wanted to return it, you will only get the $25 back but the $300 will be in form of store credit!!!! The rude cashier will tell you it's in the return policy at the bottom of the receipt... Don't believe it. That just happened to me and I read through and I went back and told them what if my wife didn't like it? It's not true they are manipulating you so you don't go back. I'm so annoyed with this store. First issue: online it states the close at 6 on Sundays so I drove to the store to return some stuff to find out that they closed early at 530. It was 535 when I got there. Second issue: they are only letting 5 people in the store at a time when the store is rather large. I had to stand in line for an hour only to return soemthing and there was only 10 people infront of me. I called the store about and the girl who answer was not friendly at all. read more

Do not recommend no more black people to go to Michael Kors store and buy their merchandise. they are racist and they profile you. today I'm going to organize a boycott to stop doing business at Michael Kors stores around the nation due to their racial Behavior. I purchase merchandise out of there and as I was walking to the door when female white woman ran towards me and damn near tackled me down before the Buzzard even went off because they forgot to deactivate the sensors inside the merchandise well at least that was her excuse. This woman actually said she was the store manager at the outlet at the Ontario Mills. This woman made me feel real cheap & uncomfortable by basically accused me of stealing something when I actually paid for it. I have the receipt, I have the bag, I have the merchandise what more did she want. And to make matters worse I'm a senior that's recovering from back surgery so when she ran up on me she really startled me and reactivated my on going pain back and a mental breakdown. I have made three attempts to try to get in contact with the corporate office and i keep getting the runaround so now I'm going to get a lawyer and talk to some of my friends from black lives matter and we're going to go down to the corporate office of all Michael Kors stores And demand our fair share of respect. read more

I should have checked the reviews first because if I did, I wouldnt have put myself in a horrible situation with them. All the reviews about service are true. Worst customer service ever. I would have been treated nicely and respectfully more in a real LV or Gucci store. I have never been discriminated in a real luxury store before. There were 2 lovely ladies who helped us, did their job and probably why I ended up purchasing. But the girl at the checkout was very rude, no smile, no respect. And then the manager was way more disrespectful than that. I felt i was singled out because I was not the same race as them. These kind of managers are the ones that feel like they have accomplished something thats why they have the right to step on others. felt so disrepected and bullied. Maria was the manager for sure has the looks of a manager but not the attitude and heart. If a customer was not always right for her, she should atleast know how to calmly address issues with a respectful manner. For sure, Maria did not go to the right training at all. I discovered the Citadel location about a year ago and the Customer Service from every employee particularly, Kathy in shoes, The Supervisor Daniel (over the phone and in store) and Manager, Lani, is 5 star. They are very professional, considerate of the Covid situation (Sanitize & clean) and are very knowledgeable of their products. They know me by face now! Ive been in there 3 Saturdays in a row! I'm not into much designer bags but I do have a MK bag (a gift) fr: a yr ago so I decided to check out the outlet store for sales and their new collection. The place is not that big for a designer store and for an outlet. The service is whatever here. The staff doesn't care much about the buyers. There were 4 females working 2 registers. I noticed there was a male greeter and another male who walks around. There was a manager who acted so busy, but what could he be so busy with on his phone? I helped myself to trying on all the bags and not once did anyone ask if I needed any help. Maybe I don't look like the type of a potential buyer. I was wearing a MK bag. But now to think of it, I was complimented by a few people working in the store who was very surprised by it (that was awkward). Anyways, not sure if MK equals pretentious but when I paid for my bag, the female ringing me up asked if anybody helped me. I mentioned Gabriel who actually had a brief conversation with me while I was in line (but greeted me fr: the beginning). The female turned to her coworker and tried to speak quietly, "she said Gabriel helped her and he didn't even help her." Wow. Not sure if she noticed Gabriel wasn't helping me or I wasn't helped my anyone. Anyways 2 stars for pretentious unhelpful catty females working behind the register for noticing and gossiping. I love COACH and MICHAEL KORS and every girl deserves a new purse here and there ;) And I don't mind getting a good deal and waiting in line to get something I want for a good price because at the end it's WORTH it for me. I usually like Camarillo, Barstow, or Cabazon outlets. And after my first visit here I will NEVER come back again. These persons are rude, snobs, and they think they are superior to everyone. I walked in with my hair up in a bun, some ripped jeans and flip flops with a t-shirt. I came in here to buy a watch and a purse. When I walked in, no one helped me or greeted me. Someone finally acknowledged me 20 mins later. But what really pissed me off is that, I was at the watch counter and I asked an associate that I wanted to see a watch, he said give me a sec (but was giving me the "get outta here" look). Well the "second" never came. But he did assist everyone else that came in looking all fancy. So here's a message for these rude sales associates.......... People like you shouldn't be working as customer service. Because customers like me and everyone else that come in here to BUY are the reason you guys have a job. So you're welcome. And you shouldn't judge customers by their appearance even if they're wearing flip flops and a sweat shirt. I've always wanted a MICHAEL KORS purse and I decided that this was the year that i was going to get one. So i came to the citadel excited to get one. My experience however wasn't that great. When i entered the store there were 3 associates just standing there by the purses. They barely even greeted me. Now it was about 11:30 am in the morning, it wasn't that crowded so they can't claim they were swamped or tired yet. So I walk around and i noticed that when other people came in the associates rushed to greet them and offered to help them. I decided to see how long it would take for someone to help me. I was in there for about 25 minutes when someone finally offered to assist me. Granted, i was in jeans, sweatshirt and sneakers but i was Christmas shopping at an outlet mall on a Saturday morning. I wasn't about to go in my business attire. Here is a lesson for anyone who works at a "high end" clothing or department store: Don't judge a book by its cover Needless to say I didn't purchase anything from this store. The selection wasn't that great anyway. I did however end up buying 2 purses and a wallet at the COACH store and there the associates were totally helpful and friendly. read more

I needed to get a gift for someone who likes MK or Coach and I was in no mood to drove too far away. Why not Citadel? Being in a perverse mood earlier today, I decided to dress up in yoga pants, oversized shirt and chanclas to see if anyone would help me. Given I was holding my old MK purse but the last time I was there no one approached me still. Walking in I noticed they have a new crew. I've gotten over MK over a year ago so I haven't been back for a while but I did notice they now have all men attendants on the floor except for one female staff. The other 2 females were manning the register. And biy, were these guys dressed well!! Almost GQ-esque. Very easy on the eyes indeed. I was approached by not just one but 2 more attendants in the short span that I was there. The first one noticed my purse and asked if I needed help. The next two helped me look at the bracelets and ultimately pick out the one I thought would suit her. Overall very happy with the service I got today. You go guys. read more

So I had to stop by and get some gifts for the family (sister, mom). Not really sure what to get i wandered into Michael Kors. The citadel was a mess, there were people everywhere, and I was about ready to go lose my mind. Compound that to the fact that I dont know jack about women's accessories. Walking into the store I was greeted by Ella. I think she saw my despair and offered to help. Well, she did and dealing with her was such a pleasure. We walked the store and she showed me the different syles of handbags, purses, watches, etc. She was able to tell me what was in and fashionable. Her help really made my shopping experience all that much better. I settled on a wallet for my sis and a purse for my mom and left in a much better mood than when I arrived. Due to Presidents' Day sale, everything was 50% off! That's a great deal. TIP: no refunds period! You have 30 days to make an exchange or get store credit so keep that in mind. We got a large camel purse, a small sling back, and a little wallet for my mom. Total was about $260 for all three items which is a bargain. One star off because of how crowded it was to the point it was hard to move from one area to the next. I've noticed some reviews mentioned the quality of the outlet purses is less than purses from the regular stores but I've bought a few wallets and purses from the outlets and haven't noticed any difference in wear and tear from my retail-priced purses. Maybe I'm just very gentle on my goods? I'm not sure. Overall: you'll regularly see 40% off sales and if you're willing to brave the crowds and sometimes lines then it's a great deal! read more

Went in on a Saturday with my mom. Extra 20% off of an already 50 % off purse! , couldn't pass that up!!! So we went in and as per usual it was PACKED full of people, my mom and I weren't window shopping we new what we where there for. So it was very uncomfortable trying to walk by/ past people with strollers, or having full blown conversions in the middle of your way and the purse I wanted to get. We found what we where looking for the girl who helped my mom and I was nice, her name was Marcy. The line moved quickly and we where on our way. All in all we got 2 big purses and 2 wallets, grand total of 329$ including tax! Not bad! Obviously we'll be back ! read more

I was in the store on Sunday 11/13/16, when I experienced some troubling behavior by one of the Rep's. I had to return an item so I went to the person at the front of the door. I was informed by the Rep that I had to wait in line to return the item, which I did. I also noticed another person come to the door and also needed to return an item. She began speaking to the Rep in Spanish and was let into the store without waiting in line. I call that discrimination on the part of the Rep. I'm not a Spanish speaker and I feel that reverse discrimination is bad. If everyone must wait in line then we wait in line, but to allow your ethnic group privileges based on their nationality is wrong and it's discriminatory and offensive. The manager of the store was informed about the matter and helped me out. Very disappointed. read more

Service is crappy. New location made the employees even more pretentious. Now you have to wait in a line before going in for "crowd control" but to my surprise, there was NO CROWD TO CONTROL. I think that it kills the whole looking to buy feeling. I wanted to physically look at something I had been eyeing online, I live really close to citadel, so its convenient, I was loaded with cash therefore ready to buy, but the fact that I had to wait in the line, made me go to the mall. I came here with a friend, as she had hoped to purchase some wristlets for her littles. We were both not impressed with the selection of handbags here. There was a decent amount of items, but nothing was too amazing. Their watches and jewelry on the other hand, were great. Also, the sales here weren't that amazing. You'd expect for outlet prices to be out of this world amazing, right? These prices were just meh. And, no food or drink allowed. I came in this store with a friend just to look around and do some Christmas shopping. I haven't been in this Michael Kors in a long time and the remodel looks amazing! I was so excited to see that they offer more clothing options and now shoes!! I absolutely love MK shoes! They are so comfy and so cute! I was helped by the amazing Vanessa M. and Lindsey! Both ladies were so attentive and knowledgeable about the brand/items but also helped me by showing different styles/options that I wouldn't normally choose for myself! I absolutely enjoyed my time at this MK store, and it was such a breath of fresh air compared to the locations that are in the local malls. Lindsey and Vanessa M. made my experience so personable I really enjoyed my time in the store. I usually don't care to be helped by associates just because some associates don't really listen to what I want, and it's so frustrating. I'm really glad that Lindsey and Vanessa M. were here when I came in. I will definitely be back to see them. Will be back to see them for more shoes in the very near future!! Thank you!! read more

Pretty good inventory and the sales persons are like these experts in getting you to buy things. I ended up with a black Selma with gold studs that I I only intended on looking at. I got a wallet too which I use. But all in all it's like any other outlet store for a currently hip brand -- full of foreigners and valley girls. Although I did say the sales "persons" where good. I did find that only 50 percent of them were knowledgeable. The rest seemed had the "im just here for Christmas money" look and always had to ask someone else to help me. read more

‼Just encountered one of the SHADIEST experiences in retail/customer service. I was trying to purchase a clutch that had a red tag clearance sticker on the price tag. The cashier rang me up, and I noticed the total was much more than I had calculated. I let her know that it was a clearance item. She told me that the system is showing the regular 60% off price. Another SA (I believe she's the store manager) walks by and lets me know that this color was not a clearance item. I then let her know that there's a red tag sticker on the price tag. This is when the cashier holds up the price tag and says no, it's not on there. Guess what she did? She had slyly ripped the bottom half of the price tag where the sticker had been behind the cash register as I was speaking to her manager. SHE RIPPED THE TAG to make it seem like I was a liar. This clutch was the only one that I was trying to purchase, and there WAS a red tag sticker on there! I just cannot believe how shady that SA was. She could've given me the price that was on the tag or simply told me the bag has been mistagged or, but no, she had to go and rip the price off of the price tag. Of course I told her I will not be buying the bag. Needless to say, I will no longer be supporting/purchasing from Michael Kors. I am absolutely livid and cannot believe this happened. Came in at first VERY disappointed. I bought a purse Friday and I was not told it was store credit only (it might have been posted but it was in 8 point font. They should really make it larger.) Even when I purchased another purse they did not tell me that at the register. The earlier purse I bought was too heavy (very large gold rings that weighed it down, and when I got home realized it was way too heavy.) I decided to make a trip back there on Sunday to return it and look for something new. When I got there I could not find anything that worked and also was told at the door that it was exchange only. I was shocked that it was store credit only, and also that the staff had not told me that when I purchased the purse on Friday. I had one or two people walk up to us and they offered to help look for a smaller purse that I had in mind, but really nobody followed up with me. However, One very friendly and approachable employee came up to me named Lark and she asked me if I was finding everything OK. I explained the situation to her and she was sympathetic and seemed genuinely concerned. She went to the trouble to tell me about some of the new styles that had just sold out and that I could always have her call me when they come into the store )since they weren't there then.) She really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy, even though nothing in the store suited my taste. She walked the store with me and pointed out several styles and then I finally found one that was very similar to what I was looking for. She took it off the shelf, slipped it on my shoulder and put it on her so I could see what it look like. Surprisingly, I was OK with the larger bag (I had originally been looking for a smaller over the shoulder bag like my last coach purse.) I ended up falling in love with the bank and bought it, and it made my entire shopping experience an A+. Michael Kors, get with the times. It doesn't make sense to have a customer stand in a 45 minute line outside the store to return the product, especially from the men's store. Great selections, nice to browse around. Always crowded though, but one can't help that though, as popular and affordable (whatever's affordable for anyone) as this brand. What is not cool is when you exchange different items, the calculations don't include the previous tax you've paid for the other item. So they keep the sales tax? But then you still pay the difference of the two items AND pay the new sales tax! I'm gonna start learning how to calculate these on my own so I don't get short changed. read more

Spent 45 min picking out 2 watches and 15min in line to find out the salesperson gave me the wrong price on the watch. She said $199 when rang up was $350. The manager Daniel was a useless sorry excuse for a manager that didn't give me no time of day but when it came to the Mexican customers help would speak in spanish like he is the kindest person.
