Very disappoint shopping experiences regarding the treatment received at MK store in the Livermore Outlet. The behavior of the staff during my visit was not only unprofessional but also demonstrated clear signs of discrimination and dishonesty. When we attempted to use Alipay for payment, was falsely told that it was not accepted in the store. But there is a sign on the window clearly indicating Alipay is an available payment method. Asked about it and they changed their story, saying that the Alipay system was "broken." Gave up and was about to use credit card to check out. However, refused again to provide additional shopping bags. When we inquired if separate transactions would allow for an additional bag, was given another absurd excuse--"each person is only allowed to shop at MK store ONCE PER DAY"! This was both ridiculous and insulting. The entire interaction felt like an exercise in discouraging people from shopping with a lack of respect and fairness toward customers. Strongly urge your company to investigate this incident, retrain staff, and implement policies to ensure all customers are treated equally!!! read more

I've been to this store many times but never found great bargain buys - even for an outlet store. Fast forward a few months later, I took my GodMother/Auntie up in here because we had a bit of time to kill before heading back down SoCal. She likes this brand, so I advised she check it out. And then low and behold - a promo even better than just bargain buys. FINALLY! They were doing a bundle sale of sort on certain items: Pick 4 items including a bag, a crossbody, a wallet and a giftable (like a belt or a passport wallet, wine holders, etc...) for the bargain price of $299 (+tax.) GM/A and I couldn't believe this find. I found it funny when she complained about paying $300 for one MK purse at Macy's for way more than this bundle buy! We ended up getting 3 bundles, another purse (that didn't fall in the bundle category), a small backpack and a pair of shoes for way less than we would have expected to pay at those big stores like Macy's or Nordstroms, etc... Also, Alicia and Alex were great at assisting with our needs. They helped boost this rating to a solid 5. Will definitely be on the lookout now. There will be stops in the future... read more

Definitely one of my favorite places to shop. I've shopping here ever since it first opened. The lay out has changed a bit since then, but I always look forward to meeting all of the friendly employees and spending all my hard earned money here. Last week I had to buy my ex-husband a wedding gift and the little lady Helped me out and gave me so many recommendations. Ended up buying him a belt and a little purse. The place was so clean and organized. Even better than the other stores at that outlet. My next paycheck I'm going to buy something for myself. Highly recommend checking this place out!! This is getting a 3-star because the service was redeemed by Paige (sp?) - she was the only one that went out of her way to provide great customer service. Up until we met her, every other individual in the store was not wanting to do their jobs or just did not have any idea of their products. We came into the store looking for a specific product, I immediately found something that looked like what we were looking for, however, it did not have a shoulder strap. My wife brought the product to a staff member on the floor and asked her - there were two of them restocking shelves and asked them if they had something like this but with a shoulder strap. Not only did they tell us no, we don't have anything like that, but they also pointed out that it was a makeup bag. Disappointed we began to look around and lo and behold we found the exact bag we were looking for. Next, we tried to find some XL in polos and the woman who was standing there asked us if we needed hlep, my wife said she needed XL and the woman asked her if she was sure and that would a L do. My wife asked her to look in the stock and we thought she heard us and was talking to us, to find out that she was on her headphone and talking to the person on the other end of it. Finally, we met Paige and she not only went out of her way to help us look for the sizes we needed, but she also secured them and had us fill out a form to have them ordered and shipped to us. You can tell that Paige has pride in her job! Just a note: most of the staff were busy taking pictures of a dog that was in the store or busy helping some "influencer" get products to videotape their segments. read more

This is the 2nd location I've purchased from and in both locations, the cashier forgot to take the security tag out of the wallet. It's just lazy. You know there's a tag in everything you sell. Once sold, it should be mandatory that the cashier look for the tag and remove it. Instead, i'm beeping and setting alarms off in every store after buying from here. I have an old Michael Kors wallet and found a security tag buried deep in the pocket of that one too!! read more

After being mesmerized in just seconds, you have 3 bags draped over your body because the store is 50% off or more! Yes, I said it- the entire store is always running promotions, so don't feel bad if you walk out with 3 bags, couch-couch. Lol. Also, you can bring your drinks inside the store if you place them in a drink section (can't walk around with drinks in your hand). ALERT! I visited the store last week, hoping to find a gift for my mother but instead I received harassment from employees. There was a bubbly, sweet blonde girl in the entrance greeting everyone and handing out promotions and explained to me the bundle deals. I thanked her and started browsing until a short Asian girl started being very adamant about purchasing the bundles. I asked if there were any more promotions going on for Labor Day and she responded, no. And kept on saying to tell my name to the cashier that it is, Lyn. I then walked away just browsing and was again verbally attacked by a woman named Z or E. I asked her if there were promotions going on and she said yes, we have 20% off your purchase. I was super mad because the girl, Lyn said there were no promotions going on and now this girl is saying we do have promotions. I believe this store is very unorganized and lacks customer service. There were many associates just chatting among theirselves and paid little to no attention to other customers. They made me feel very uncomfortable because they kept staring from head to toe as if I was stealing something. I have been here about 3-4 times. Every time I am here the staff is VERY helpful. I'm a little confused with these other reviews. The girls here always treat me like gold- help me pick, choose, and find something that suits me best. Based on what I tell them, they will find things in the back if they think I would like it. Last time I was here I really liked a wallet but I didn't want it because I wanted it to have a little wrist-let type handle- not too sure what they are called. The sweet girl said "Maybe I can find one and we can attach it." - Are you kidding me?! She found one and gave it to me free of charge. If that isn't A+ customer service I don't know what is! So this just happened this morning...My mom and I came here in order to search for a cross body bag for my aunt. We walked into the store, and everything was kept neatly, and nicely. No one greeted us when we walked in, but it's okay since it was fairly busy. No one approached us for help either, but when I did need help finding the cross body bags, I approached an older lady, and was helped in an effective manner. We finally found a bag suitable for my aunt. It was on a shelf that said $179 so we assumed all the bags on this shelf was this price, granted that they were all the same bag, and that's what the price tag said. Just to be sure, my mom asked another sales associate to confirm that price. She told us that they forgot to change the prices on the shelves this morning, and that the actual price of the bag was $299, and there was also a 15% off discount. So my mom asked her what the price would be with the discount. She went to check, and came back telling us the price would be $280. Okay, so we explored other options for my aunt, and when we wanted to confirm the price of another bag. She told us the price as it said on the label, and added to say that there was no additional discounts with that bag. When it came down to it, my mom wanted to get the "$280" bag for my aunt. So I asked that same sales associate to ring us up. At the register, the bag came up as the full price of $325. There was confusion about that, and finally the sales associate said that she would confirm with her manager what the price was. The manager said that the bag costs $299, but when she rung us up the total was $345 with tax included. Earlier, she said that the bag would actually be $280 with the additional 15% off. When we asked about that, she said there wasn't an additional 15% off. At this point, I was confused. I was certain that we were talking about the same bag. So to clarify, I asked her if she had mistakenly told us about the additional 15%, but she still denied ever saying that to us..... Don't get me wrong, I'm not hung over the additional 15% off. I'm just really annoyed that she denied ever saying that. It's cool if you're wrong, and that I will have to pay more, but being in denial....that's just a character flaw. Idk if she was afraid to admit that she was wrong in front of her manager, but a simple apology or explanation for what she said earlier wouldn't have left me in annoyance or confusion. I hope she doesn't get fired over this, but I do wish that she would learn to admit when she's wrong or to get her facts straight. My mom and I ended up leaving empty handed and very irritated. The girls that work here have no customer services skills (CASHIERS) :( I shop there quite often since I live in Livermore but I would rather drive to the MK in Milpitas because the girls there genuinely have good customer service skills. The cashiers here are the worst, you can tell by their faces they hate their job and never answer questions with a friendly remark, NEVER. Always check that the price on the price tag matches the price that scans!!! Sadly I bought a wallet that was marked 108 but scanned 118, I thought maybe I saw the wrong price but nope! The UPC on the receipt and the UPC on the tag were the exact same numbers, just different prices. (If this happens to you, you can file a complaint with the division of weight standards!) Although I don't work retail, I do work in customer service in a fast paced setting, so I know how mentally exhausting customer service is at times, but man these girls jump on you with so much attitude it's almost intimidating! Overall, this store lacks customer service, which is soooo unappealing :( Out of all the times been there, I've only had good experiences with two ladies that were on the sales floor. read more

Three days later they went on sale. Although they did not make a price adjustment, I had to return them and re-ordered them. The line wasn't that long to get into the store. It's spacious compared to the one at the Great Mall. The workers here are very nice. They have a variety of styles here for the bags. They also sell jackets, dresses, and clothing, as well as accessories. The line inside to pay was long but it went by real fast. Since the bag I got was the last one out on display I asked the cashier if that was the last one. She kindly checked it in her system. She said there was a lot more. Then she asked someone to get me a new one. The one she gave me was all wrapped up and sealed in a clear plastic bag. Never been touched. The cashier provided outstanding customer service. read more

When I walked into the store, I was pleased to find so many people asked if I needed assistance. I was eyeing sunglasses because I definitely needed to upgrade. I was asked a little more frequently than I'd like for help, but better than no help at all. I made my first "expensive" sunglasses purchase at this store. Actually my fiance bought them for me to make matters worse, around May 2013. It came with a leather case and cost around $100. I loved how the pair of sunglasses looked and left a happy customer. Here is where crap hits the fan...I brought them with me to AZ for vacation 1.5 months later. I was standing in the Arizona heat while in 3 ft of water and I hear a crackling sound. My sunglasses frame cracks on one side. I contacted customer service and come to find I need to pay $20 plus packaging to send it in! Kind of absurd for paying $100 when it sounded like a manufacturing or weakness of the plastic at that part of the frame. My exact model was sold out...maybe because they kept breaking? Spoke with this store about the policy but of course, it was past the 30 day policy. Why couldn't it break 30 days earlier IDK. I tried to patch it up and glued it back together. Come to today, Oct. 1, 2013, the OTHER SIDE of the frame cracked in the same exact spot. Now I am really really upset. I wrote to the company again days ago regarding the first crack and have heard nothing. Great service guys. Now there is no way I plan on gluing this side together too. Never ever spending money here again. For someone that wanted to splurge on an item, I got quality worse than at a Ross or Target store. This place used to have a very friendly and helpful staff, but as of recently their staff has become pretentious, judgmental, and unhelpful. Before I even walked into the store, my friend and I were waiting in line and the girl working the check out line looked at us with the dirtiest mug, you could feel her attitude through the glass. If there wasn't a huge sale going on in the store we wouldn't have even bothered going in. This store does have great deals during the holidays which is why I didn't give it only one star. It's a pain to go through though because you have to wait in line to get in and then weave through a crowded store before waiting in line again to check out. You have to wait in line to get into the other designer stores, as well, but at least the other stores have better customer service and polite employees. read more

I bought 3 bags worth 700$ and asked for them to be bagged separately as it is going to be a gift for 3 different people. She says that she can only give one bag for all of them. (If im a customer buying multiple items i think an item is entitled to one bag or whichever I prefer.) I hope management reads this and takes this seriously. This is a stupid policy. But for all the people who shop here, buy one item. I went to Michale Kors this evening with my daughter and my daughter liked this crossbody bag, so I told her to put back the first one and take the one she likes. This sales person walk up to my daughter pulled her aside and asked her if I was abusing her because they're trained to to ask a person if they're in need of help if they think they're in a situation. My daughter told me once we get home, my daughter expressed discomfort, I was in complete shock, upset, and felt discriminated due to the color of my skin. I'll soon be visiting MK again and returning everything I purchased. I regret buying from this store. That return will be my last visit. I bought bags from places like Tory Burch and Furla with. My daughter and never encountered any such issues. This person was a gift to my daughter, and we're very close. Okay so I've been eyeing a few MK bags for a while now but just couldn't decide which one to get. I purchased my first MK bag & wallet from here today & I had a great experience. Walking in the store was nice & not packed so I was able to browse easily. I fell in love with a bag a within 2 minutes but wanted to check out the whole store just to see my options. During this time 2 young lady's had already greeted me. After I made my selections they went to the back to grab packaged ones for me. I saved over $200 coming here rather then a MK store in the mall. One downside coming here is your things don't come with a dust bag but still great quality. Very beautiful red, but guess what? After I used few times I found the colors is fading and melt on my cloths. That's such a BAD quality!!!! I call to the customer support. They tell me to sent the bag back to the center. They going to replace a new one to me. But it been a month I didn't receive or hear anything back from them..... Not only that, but some of the MK signature is FADING! this shows very poor quality! my michael kors sandals which I've worn a handful of times is already ready to be throw away. Came here last Sunday and it was crowded in here! A lot of people were shopping and I don't blame them - there were a ton of great deals! Me and my sister were able to get a black shoulder bag with gold studs - originally priced at almost $200 - for half off! My sister also got a wallet and another shoulder bag. Can't remember the grand total from the day but it was a successful shopping trip. The sales associates were also friendly and helpful. I came here this last Friday! It was my first time at these outlets, and naturally I was excited to see that they had a Michael Kors store. I ended up purchasing a wallet and a watch. Betty helped me out, and she was the best! She wasn't pushy (which I hate!) and she was good in making some small talk. She was patient while I was selecting a watch and helped take off three links for my sizing. I can see how in other reviews other customers thought the workers were pushy and excessive in complimenting everyone. If you want to feel uncomfortable due to someone giving you dagger eyes/the death stare or afraid to ask a question due to the chances of getting scolded, you found the perfect place. If you want to be in a stereotypical high school movie where everyone just gossips and ignores people that aren't apart of their clique, this is the place to go. Ironic because the employees that do this seem to be the younger ones, the fresh out of (or even still in) college. Don't get me wrong, some of their employees are super helpful and friendly, but sadly, they're the minority. I'm a frequent visitor of this store and have realized that the more I come, the more I get disappointed. Had to do an exchange for the bag I bought on Black Friday weekend because it broke within less than 3 months (MK has a one year bag warranty.) I called before going in and they said I would need to take it in to be evaluated and to be sure I brought the receipt with it. I searched everywhere for the receipt and couldn't find it. Thankfully, a friend of mine said to bring a bank statement with me that showed the purchase and see if that worked...and it did! The store manager was kind enough to accept it and took the old bag... and because the same bag was no longer available..I would receive store credit and could choose another bag. I found a nice bag as a replacement and just paid a small difference. Happy with my new purchase and with the service I received! Just a slight disappointment in the quality of my old bag. read more

I can't remember if I have been here before but I received the best customer service ever from a male sales associate and the store manager tonight! I was so impressed I def had to give kudos here on Yelp. It was interesting because I walked in and the sales gal that initially had greeted me from the counter didn't seem so friendly and showed her resistance to assist with my problem. Yup we just entered the customer service zone... Had my fave bag that I purchased with receipt, plus business card of the Manager I spoke to about my issue. To save face of the sales gal I won't go into detail how the sales guy + Manager straight went above and beyond and were awesome to solve my problem! I definitely will come back and drop some serious cash on some handbags, and look for that sales guy and/or store manager. This store rocks and they have a lot of inventory! yay!
