Change the policy of not letting people in, at least allow 25 ppl or something... it looks bad when your store is empty and you are forcing ppl to wait outside!

My son also purchased a similar one but since they did not have his size they found it at another store and it would be shipped to his address. Cashier with the stylish mini handlebar mustache provided great service and quickly handled each customer at checkout. So in theory- Theory will now be my place to stop in moving forward to look for great bargains such as what I got today.

Dress shoes and more formal wear is what they are known for - but they do have some shoes and boots that look a bit more casual. I had the most comfortable shoes from this brand due to the super soft leather they were made from. Super soft and flexible. I don't like it when tough leather creases and stabs your foot or toe with every step. I picked up some belts as gifts - will be back to look for myself more one day soon. If you need to be in formal attire every day its so important to get shoes from here and maybe a ton of iron free shirts from Brooks Brothers - also nearby. I'm not familiar with this brand, but decided to check the store out on a whim. Love their overall selection available, and wound up finding a pair that I liked, fit well, and was decently priced. As it was early on in our day, and we wanted to check out a few more stores first, the gentleman who assisted us kindly offered to put it on hold while we shopped around. In addition, he inquired about what else we were shopping for, and made some recommendations on some other stores that we could take a look at as well. After an exhausting day looking through the major brands, we found a few accessories that I wanted, but could not find another pair of shoes that I liked. When we returned to Johnston & Murphy, the same salesperson that was working from earlier was still there, and he both remembered me and the pair of shoes he put on hold for me, as well brought out some belts that I could try on. Having remembered our conversation earlier in the day when I mentioned I was also shopping for a new belt. When checking out, my fiancé noticed a very slight blemish on one of the shoes, and the salesperson very kindly buffed and polished both shoes for us without hesitation. And upon leaving, my fiancé noticed an elderly couple in the store in which the husband was wearing a cap from the same hotel we are getting married in at Hawaii. What a small world! Great experience, great service, and excellent quality and selection of men and women's formal footwear. Highly recommend this store, and will not hesitate to come shop here again!

Recently one of the 4…read moreroller board wheels started to separate, which would "catch", making it difficult to walk with the bag. I first checked with 3rd party luggage repair shops. A highly rated shop did not repair Tumi (unable to get parts). I read that Tumi stores can do some repairs, and I called the local outlet store in Livermore (few miles away). Since this was an outlet store, I was prepared to be told that I need to contact a "standard" store. I talked to Dillon, who said he can take a look. When I got to the store, I first talked to a Tumi Sales associate who told me that the repair process is to 1) pay $25 (non-refundable), to ship the roller board to a central Tumi repair site. 2) After they review and pricing the repair, they would contact me. 3) I could OK the cost of the repair, or if I wanted the bag returned, it would cost another $25. Note - this official repair process & pricing seems reasonable, as a replacement bag is likely $700-$900. I mentioned I talked to Dillon about the repair and my bag was taken to the back. I was told that Dillon would take a look. After a few minutes, I was told to come back in about an hour. When I came back, wheel assembly was replaced. While the replacement is not exact (the bag is 10 years old), it was similar and you really can't tell. When I asked about the repair cost, they told me there was no cost. In an age of being "nickeled & dimed" for everything, this was a total surprise. I am not aware if this is "standard" policy, or if this store (and Dillon) was doing a favor. Nonetheless I cannot let such a positive experience go without mentioning.
