Oven and cooktop require 2 outlets (the old range only required one)
    L W.

Michael is the best electrician in Santa Rosa. He has helped me with multiple projects, and does a superior job, on time, confirms to all electrical codes, and I have complete confidence and peace of mind in his work. He has also been able to come up with creative solutions in multiple situations to help me accomplish my objectives. Projects: We re-wired my kitchen to change from a slide-in range to a built-in oven and cooktop. The first Electrician I hired to work on this (through Angi aka HomeAdvisor ) did a ridiculously horrible job which Michael had to fix. I would recommend to everyone to never under any circumstances hire an electrician via Angi, you might end up burning your house down. Second project: We installed a ceiling light in my son's room. Rather than ripping up a lot of walls in order to put the requisite wiring in place, we decided to use a wireless switch connected via my WiFi network. My son absolutely loves his new light fixture. When I asked he he wanted to switch it out for a ceiling fan, the answer was an emphatic No. I will be hiring him for a third time now to change out 2 more ceiling light fixtures. And, after that, I have 2 additional projects in the pipeline (involving adding interior outlets, for which more drywall work will be required, so those are on hold for now). You will not find a better electrician in Santa Rosa than Michael Leasure.

No need to look further as Michael is your electrician! He installed a home surge protection, replaced and updated 60 plus switches, outlets and plugs, receptacle box installation and replacement, restoration of the main panel circuit breaker, installed a main grounding system, repaired and installed garage lights with junction boxes, replaced frayed furnace cord, new furnace, stove, washer and dryer outlets and more. With this 60 year old home it now feels completely safe to live in with no more blow outs from using more than one appliance at a time and lights no longer flicker. I can finally have peace of mind that my home is safe! Michael is a perfectionist with attention to detail. He even installed every screw in the same direction! He cares about his clients and the safety of their homes. He checked in often asking if there was anything else I wanted him to do. He works for himself and since he has no overhead you will find the best prices with his work. He is very polite, honest and trustworthy and he will leave you confident in the work he provides you.

He confirmed the outlet was indeed getting power, and that the box needed to be adjusted. It was a quick 30 minute fix (maybe less than 30 minutes but I got some educational incite from him). Glad I went with Hagan Electric to fix this. A previous electrician from Mister Sparky Electric claimed the outlet needed to be rewired and was not getting any electricity. The Mister Sparky Electric guy charged $400 to tell my HOA: "Resident has square D panel which complies with today's standards. No need to change panel." All he did was look at the panel that day. Maybe 15 minutes to say what kind of panel it was and charged $400. Anyways- beware of going to certain companies to have electrical work done. Hagan Electric seems like a good one. The job I had today was pretty simple.

From the initial estimate request, I was contacted just a few hours later and Israel was able to come out the next morning for a quote. The price was better than 2 other estimates I received and included all of the permitting/SMUD details that needed to be taken care of. The day of the service, there was great communication and everything with the job went smoothly. Israel and David let me know when addition things were going to be needed and explained the reasons why changes needed to be made. The job site was left extremely clean and the work area looks better than when they arrived. I would absolutely recommend them for your electrical needs. An added bonus is they are a Veteran owned company.

Saturday evening on October 25th, our lights started flickering and we lost power for about 15…read moreminutes. This Kept happening all night. My husband flipped our breakers and that didn't seem to help. Sunday morning, half our house lost power completely. I started calling electricians. Maverick replaced our breaker box a year in a half ago so we didn't think it was the box. I called Maverick Electric Sunday to see if someone could come out and find what the problem was. I was told the first available appointment was Tuesday morning. My husband called another electrician, and they said they would send someone out Monday morning as this was a SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN! I don't think we slept for two hours that weekend. Monday morning, I left for work and my husband met the electrician at our home. The guy looked around and checked our breaker box and found that a wire had been tightened too tight in our new breaker box and it snapped. My husband text me this, and I called Maverick right away and let them know what was going on. They said they could send someone out between 12pm-5pm that day. In the meantime, the electrician at our home took a video, then fixed the problem! He even spent time checking all our outlets as this arcing could have caused major damage to our system or worse, a fire! He didn't feel comfortable not repairing this safety issue. The fee was $250. I called Maverick back and let them know the problem was fixed. I looked at my Maverick invoice for the breaker box that was installed by them in late 2023 and it has a 10 year warranty. I asked to be reimbursed. After a cat and mouse game with Christina in their office (there was not one phone call returned to me) and emailing the video the electrician took, and our paid invoice, I was told they will not reimburse us as they did not authorize the work and they agreed to send someone out Monday (only after I called that morning and stated that the issue actually was). I am very concerned about the quality of work done and further issues with our electrical system. This is not the way to handle business and the fact is, another electrician fixed your mistake and you are unwilling to do the right thing even with a 10 year warranty! This was a safety issue that could not wait until Tuesday. Do the right thing!
