I went to this salon for the first time today after not getting a professional haircut in over two years, and I cannot recommend Paulette enough! She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable, and I whole heartedly trust her with all of my hair needs! She is an AMAZING hairstylist and an incredibly pleasant and nonjudgmental person to be around. She did a beautiful job on my hair and I have absolutely zero complaints! The salon itself is very clean and professional, and the staff is very kind. I genuinely enjoyed my time spent there. In my opinion, the prices are also incredibly fair! I made an appointment very excited as a friend had her hair done and it looked amazing. I was looking for something different. When I got there I was pretty much told my hair was already colored the best way, not directly but that was the drift. I would have appreciated that being said and just continuing what I was doing rather than trying to change it to a not so great result. It's not horrible but it was much better before. The other thing I really didn't like was that all the rest of the staff was fawning over Michael like he was a guru or something. It was like they were all in awe of him. Have been seeing Jessica for quite some time and have loved every haircut and color treatment I have received!!! I often get compliments on my color and have come to appreciate consistency in a hair salon over the years My hair is fine and difficult to style and she seems to work her magic every time. The salon itself is very relaxing. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. The owners themselves go out of their way to meet and greet their customers when they are not busy with their own clients. Michael has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20+ years. Every haircut is wonderful and grows out beautifully. I've had many, many friends comment how they would like to have my hair color, and for a few years when I was a red-head, people always thought it was my natural color. A dear friend comes from Chicago to have Michael cut her hair because she can't find anyone in Chicago who is as thorough, taking the time to put lots of subtle layers in her style. After going for 2 years, I convinced my fiancé to go get his hair done with Mary and he had never looked better! Men or women, they can do it all. I have never been happier with a Hair Stylist and Salon as I am with Christen. She is the best stylist for my hair cuts and color. She understands my bangs and the many styles I've requested and has a great eye for knowing what will work for me. Christen is exceptional!!! Absolutely love this place!!! Mia is by far without question the best stylist I have ever been to. When they first opened I brought in a picture of the style I wanted and she did an awesome job. And she somehow manages my hair perfectly so I only need a cut every 2 1/2 -3 months, instead of the usual 3-4 weeks like all my past stylists. Cannot say enough about her!! Excellent service and atmosphere! Everyone is talented, but since I moved here from NYC, I have had my hair expertly cared for by Jennifer and Cristen. I have fine, straight difficult hair which is dyed including highlights. My hair always looks amazing and natural.
