I do NOT recommend going here unless you expecting to have a terrible service and hidden fees that were not discussed at the time of the appointment. I came in asking to see how much it would cost to repair a chip in my tooth. Mind you I came in to ASK, and they said let's run an xray to get a quote. They did my regular teeth cleaning which is always abrasive and painful, and then proceeded to apply flouride on my teeth which they suggested will help for cleaning. After that they did my screening and charged me $300. Told me that was the fee for the flouride and xrays which weren't covered only my usual cleaning. WHICH NOBODY MENTIONED prior to me sitting down in the chair. It would be ideal to maybe run my insurance and mention to me that these xrays to fix the smallest crack on my tooth were not covered? I did a walk in at a dental place next door for Victoria Nguyen and she handled my problems with ease and avoided charging me any hidden fees. I have known Dr. Yang since 2016 and I have gotten extensive treatments from him and let me tell you he is just WONDERFUL!!!!! He is an excellent dentist!! They're a group of stellar professionals, with exemplary standards and impeccable courtesy. I should further add, they are all highly skilled and knowledgeable in every aspect of the dental trade. Dr. Yang is very modern in mindset, and maintains a sharp understanding of the latest/greatest technical trends occurring in the industry. I doubt you could ask him a technical or medical question he'd be unable to answer. I was highly impressed with the conversation we shared regarding implant technology and my diabetic concerns in relation to them. The best dentist by far! Dr. Yang does a great job, and his hygienists are no different. I always get my cleanings done by Amanda! There's nothing worse than getting poked in the gums during an already uncomfortable cleaning, but Amanda is gentle, skilled, and efficient in her work. She cleans thoroughly without spending a ton of time scraping unnecessarily on each tooth. All of the chairs are comfortable, and you're able to watch Netflix while you're getting any work done. Growing up, I didn't know just how important it was to take care of myself. Being depressed all the time from being over-bullied, I didn't care much for my image or much for anything else really and not caring was what really screwed me over, especially my teeth. I can't point out which tooth hasn't had a cavity. I don't even know out how many teeth I'm missing either. I must have seen over a dozen dentists by now and all were incredibly terrifying except for my very last dentist, Dr. Yang. He used to work just a few blocks away from where I live in Rowland Heights so when I found out he moved, I was devastated. The receptionist in his previous office refused to tell me where he had relocated to and actually argued with me why I should stick with the three dentists I didn't know. It was a ridiculously long argument and I should have just hung up on her. My mom then convinced me to see a new friend of hers who just so happens to have been a dentist for sooooooo many years she had to be GREAT, right? That lady ended up cutting my tongue, the side of my lip and my gums bled for days. (Not exaggerating. My sister and my father can vouch just how awful of a job she did on their teeth. They never went back either. Hmm... I need to Yelp-review her soon as I find her business card.) After that incident, I just had to look for Dr. Yang again. Gosh, I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I found him online. How ironic for Dr. Yang to have relocated from working just a mile away from my home to a mile away from where I've been learning Krav Maga. I am embarrassed to say that I actually emailed him, "I was afraid I had lost you!" Being overjoyed, I had left out all the necessary information and had to email him two more times. I am even more embarrassed to admit that I walked in with over a dozen cavities and boy did that make Dr. Yang frown like never before. Hahaha... The only con at the time would have been having to request time off from work. Now that I've quit my job, this dental stuff is expensive. :O *sigh* My fault for not finding another job first, but things were getting so unexpectedly crummy so fast I had to get out of there. Dr. Yang is the BEST! My wife has the best smile ever, thanks to his creative and skillful efforts. 4 years ago, after arriving from the Philippines, she was in danger of loosing more of her teeth. Dr. Yang spent over an hour with us explaining our options and crafted a brilliant solution. He moved her teeth around with orthodontics, closing gaps where teeth were extracted and perfectly aligned and corrected her overbite. With deep cleaning and composite repair on her remaining teeth, her smile started to take shape. A few weeks ago, she had her implants and crowns completed and the result is no less than astounding. Dr. Yang and his staff provide a level of care that is head and shoulders above any dental provider I've ever experienced. On our last trip to the Philippines, her family and friends thought her teeth were dentures because they were so straight and perfect looking.
