I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way your office has handled this matter. Despite my repeated calls and messages, your office has still failed to provide me with a simple official copy of my $1,350 credit card payment made on July 9, 2026, for my mother's crown treatment. This is a basic payment record that should have been provided promptly upon request. Your continued failure to provide this documentation has seriously damaged my trust in your office. I initially wanted to trust your doctors and staff and believed that the information I was given regarding my mother's treatment and insurance benefits was accurate. However, I now have serious concerns about the information provided to me by your insurance coordinator regarding my mother's benefits. Based on what I was told, we proceeded with the treatment and paid $1,350 out of pocket. If prior authorization or verification with the insurance company was required before beginning treatment, that should have been clearly explained and handled before we proceeded. Instead, I feel that we were given incorrect information and were left responsible for a substantial out-of-pocket payment. What makes this even more concerning is the fact that your office has repeatedly delayed providing the official receipt for that payment. At any professional medical or dental office, a patient should be able to obtain documentation of a payment without repeatedly calling, texting, and following up. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The communication from your office has been inconsistent, and I have found the responses from your staff unpleasant and disrespectful. I strongly urge your office to provide me immediately with the complete official receipt/payment record for the $1,350 payment, including the date of payment and a clear description of what the payment was for. After this experience, I cannot recommend your office to others. I expected professionalism, transparency, and accurate information from a dental office entrusted with my mother's care. My father repeatedly told the dental office at every appointment that there was a gap between two of his teeth. Each time, they told him that they would address it at his next appointment, but they never did. Eventually, my father paid $3,000 for a dental bridge. At his next appointment, he brought up the gap between his teeth again and became upset, asking why it still had not been addressed. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they told him, "You never told us about the gap." My father felt that they were calling him a liar and treating him disrespectfully. He became very upset and said that he no longer wanted to have the bridge done and that he would not return to the dental office. When I requested a refund of the $3,000, I was told that I had to come to the office in person. I did not understand why this could not be handled over the phone. I went to the office, and they told me that they would issue the refund. They also had me sign a document confirming that I would receive the refund. It has now been four months since April, and we still have not received the money. I have called the office at least 15 times. Every time I call, they tell me that someone will call me back within an hour, but no one ever does. I also went to the office in person again. Each time, they tell me that they will call me and process the refund, but they continue to delay the payment and have not returned my father's money. At this point, we have been waiting for four months despite repeatedly contacting the office and being assured that the refund would be issued. We would like to know what steps we can take to recover my father's $3,000. We have documentation showing that the office agreed to issue the refund, and we have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter directly with them, but they have failed to return the money. I had to get general anesthesia for my 7 year old daughter who needed a pulpotomy on a baby tooth as well as 2 baby teeth pulled. She has fear of the dentist and Rafi dental arranged everything for her to be comfortable. My daughter also has severe food allergies and a smaller airway due to enlarged adenoids and tonsils. Dr. Ivan Reese contracted through Elite Sedation was absolutely fantastic, cautious and took care of my kiddo the whole time. No issues. The dentist did a great job too. My daughter's teeth look great and she woke up without any pain. He even kept her longer for monitoring and she was fine. Highly recommend. read more

I referred my friend Lupita Brown there to check it out & to meet the manager Alba Lopez, While Lupita waited she read the reviews and was not happy with the complaints. While Lupita looked around Alba went to her office and went online to get Lupita's Care Credit information and charged her card $900. without Lupita's knowledge or her permission. At the time Lupita had insurance with Humana and she & I both reported this to them. Both Care Credit, Humana and Alba Lopez refused to return the $900. to Lupita. One star is too much for them. The front girls are so rude and inconsiderate . But my goodness, the wait times, the cancellation of appointments despite confirmation phone calls and even the greediness of making us pay for treatment before getting anything done is wild. They don't care about patients and treating them with genuine care , they just wanna drain your pockets Every time I've gone I've had at least an hour AFTER my appointment time just to get in the room. Then the lackadaisical aura and lack of urgency for people's times. Once you're in the treatment room they still make you wait hours . Four visits and every time at least one or two other patients are complaining about the wait times. Why am I paying thousands of dollars before getting treatment just for them to not take my time into consideration. Showed up to a Canceled appointment because I didn't respond to a text while I was working the day they sent it, despite me confirming over the phone a week prior. I had to switch my work time to make it to this appointment. Now I'm waiting because they "have two other major procedures" when I've already paid for my procedure two weeks ago. How is that considerate? The quality of service needs some work because it doesn't make sense that I'm stuck waiting to be seen an hour after my appointment when we confirmed over the phone. It seems like all the care about is securing your money and then brush your treatment plan under the rug. They overcharged us for the treatments and when it came to us getting the remainder of the money back everyone goes ghost. If it is policy that I have to respond to the texts, then they should be sending a text asking if I want to cancel. Suddenly canceling on others who are busy is awful. read more

I had been with Rafi dental for 5 years. The last time I went was for a cleaning. At my appt Dr. Rafi asked if I had concerns I told her I had noticed a cyst on my gums for a few months. She looked said I had to do 2 root canals and get 2 crowns by where the cyst was and that maybe that would resolve it but she wasn't sure. She wanted me to do the treatment there and then when I refused, she said she could not do the cleaning until I did the treatment she recommended. I went to a different dentist about the same issue. He said the problem was with a root canal and crown I had done at Rafi dental causing a cyst. The dentist did a 2nd root canal and the cyst is gone. I also had done another root canal and crown at Rafi Dental, ever since they did that treatment I noticed it was red and swollen I went in 3times telling her something was wrong. She finally listened the 3rd time sent me to an Endodontist he told me I had to get an extraction on that tooth. So unfortunately I got that tooth extracted and had to get a bridge all within 1 year of me getting the root canal and crown done. And the bridge is not well placed there is a gap. read more
