Showed us the many options, did all the necessary paperwork for us. We picked out a unique urn for my Dad. A clock. My brother and I got mini urns with his ashes and Mom the clock. 2023 - They again were very caring, patient and respectful, when my brother, Aunt and I requested their services now for Mom who had just passed away. Again showed us the many options, did all the necessary paperwork for us. Picked out that special urn for Mom. In addition we ordered blown glasses orbs that contain some of her ashes as part of the glass, no two are the same. We are waiting on the glass artist to complete them. We were told it takes a little time because of the uniqueness. Wonderful family owned business (multi generations) and support staff. Focused on making our loss as painless as humanly possible. First they were very professional and answered all of our questions, including showing us options for Cremation caskets, discussing how they handle Covid19 social distancing, and how the funeral experience would be. We included the option of streaming the Visitation and prayer due to the Covid19 regulations, which were posted on their site with a link we could share on Facebook. This allowed many who could not attend in person to say goodbye remotely. They include music that was in accordance of our religion and ensured that the ceremony was given the time to say goodbye. The family is currently on the West Coast and the memorial would be in the Chicago suburbs. Melissa Nelson was patient and compassionate as I called for information regarding a death half way across the country. She provided details on what Meadows could provide and also offered alternative solutions for us which wouldn't even result in revenue for her. To me, this is a sign of a true professional looking out for the best interests of the client. She also made any expenses that might be incurred very clear as she understands that many times families aren't prepared for the expense. This was my first time at Salerno's and I was expecting the same, but was pleasantly surprised at the modern amenities at this home. The main interior is bright and doesn't feel somber as you walk through. The staff seemed polite and courteous and the seating was comfortable and plentiful. I said goodbye to one of my oldest friend's father last week and I found this funeral home a perfect place to honor him. He has was a former US Marine, so there was a flag ceremony that will live in my memory for a long time. This would be a great location for your service.

Obviously, we purchased our creamation services from them and are very happy they have world-wide coverage because we do travel quite a bit.
