One of our favorites in Breckenridge, always a good meal here. I introduced my aunt to the white lasagna, which is still amazing. My wife liked her tortellini as well. Our waiter told us there'd be an extra charge for more bread, which had never been a thing in the past, but then he brought us a little bit more when we showed our surprise in the extra charge. I need to remember that the white Zinfandel here is more of a fruity blush and not something I enjoy. We were also surprised to learn they won't give a split check due to credit card fees, but we figured it out. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're in town. read more

Right off Main Street and a great vibe. The menu was large with a lot of dishes and pizzas. And the setting was just off the main street, so it was quiet and up on the second level so felt private. This was one of the restaurant that open late in the main street. And we are glad that they did. Their service and their food were pretty good. There are plenty of street parking around this area. The restaurant itself was fairly big enough to accommodate bigger group. I have got their side salad and spaghetti with meatball. I would have to say I have tried a lot of different meatballs, all around the world. Some bad and some good. And this was one of the goods. It was cooked well, and flavorful. It's quite a popular place so it took awhile for our order to be ready for pick up but I amused myself by shopping next door. I tried the chicken parmesan as it's my go-to at almost every Italian restaurant. This was a good version of it but I could have a used a bit more sauce on my pasta. Food was decent. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. Just nothing extremely good and we split 4 different meals. Also the bread they gave us was hard and not very flavorful. NEVER going back again. Worse starting service. My wife and I got seated and it took 10 minutes just to get water. In that 10 minute time period the waiters cleaned off 3 tables around our immediate area and were able to check on two other tables. When I asked to speak to the manager to let them know all he said was "sorry about that?". GREAT service bud. Honestly they felt a bit discriminating. The white lasagna gets 5 stars unfortunately, it wasn't mine lol but I got about 4 bites. It was absolutely delicious. I opted for the chicken parm as recommended by the super friendly server , AJ, and it was good too but I definitely wanted to switch plates with my better half. The vibes were chill. The atmosphere was great and the food was equally as good. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and the staff were all on-point.

Food was great, however service by Jessie server has no manners and ruined the beautiful experience for our family! I have been in service industry in Manhattan , Miami never saw a server be so disrespectful. She went as far as slamming my sister chair purposely into her. Pure shock! Luckily Dante swapped and we were able to finish our dinner!!! This woman (Jessie) should work at a gas station bathroom, passing out gum!! ***I am not disrespecting gas station workers! In Breckenridge for the weekend and decided to give Michaels a try. First off the service was amazing, the ambiance was upbeat and everyone was friendly. I had the meat lasagna and she had the chicken, sausage and mushroom alfredo. I have to admit that both of the dishes were very good, I had some concerns about the meat sauce initially but that was quickly dispelled. What a wonderful evening we had at Michael's! I was a little hesitant to try an Italian restaurant- I've never had much luck finding good Italian food outside of my home town. Not sure why. But I had a craving, so we went for it and I'm glad we did. We were able to snag a secluded seat on their patio. It was so nice! Overlooking a little courtyard, quiet, relaxing. We started with the Caesar salad. For entrees, we shared the lasagna and the tortellini with basil cream. Both were excellent. Nice portion sizes. We were able to finish our meals, but sadly had no room for dessert. Oh well, maybe next time. Overall, a top notch home style Italian restaurant with a beautiful outside setting.
