Great place, Only me and my one son went a week ago, my wife was in the wild trying to befriend moose, , Good pizza, I had a Large pizza with 100 anchovies, which the waiter reluctantly agreed to, and I left the restaurant with the anchovies swimming in my belly , vibes were nice, good music, like the one in Mexico I love Mexico you should come there, anyways, I would've tipped a trillion dollars easy but my son who is a good guy said there was a fly in his hat, so I tipped a good much, service was great. my wife came back making friends with moose and grizzly bears, they shared a selfie together I'll attach it down below, it reminds me of how nice life is and how I love life and you should to and eat anchovies their good for your farts because I stunk up my whole car on my road trip back to my home in the North Pole Ho Ho Ho! read more

Wow I haven't had a restaurant experience this bad in a while. It took 20 min for the waitress to come to our table. It was a busy night and she made that known, but in hindsight we should have just gone elsewhere at this point. Our beer came out quick, but it took a while to get our order placed. Our waitress was very scattered and it was clear they didn't have enough help. At one point she was yelling at another guest near our table and he was shouting at her. Things became tense and awkward and we just sat there waiting 45min for our food, which of course was nasty. All in all, we will not be back. read more

Family reunion in the Frisco area, so we were a group of 18, including 2 dogs, for dinner. Restaurant's patio is dog friendly. They did a great job of getting us seated, assuring the dogs were on the patio, and providing assistance with the final check. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a rooftop option. This is my first time ordering from this location and if you are interested in trying Eclectic, do yourself the favor of going to the Silverthorne location. I ordered the Summit mushroom burger, one of my favorites and this time it was disgustingly messy. The bun was soggy on the bottom and the top stale. It was very clearly thrown together. As for service, when I called they never took a name, gave a time frame or told me my total. Appon arriving the waiter was talking to me as he was helping another table. Kinda rude to the customers dining. After finishing with his table he walked over and just held out his hand. It was for my card but a total and the communication your ready for payment would be appropriate... Id tell the rest of my interaction with this guy but I think you got the point. Beautiful early evening in Frisco, so walked over to grab a beer and enjoy the rooftop deck, but it was closed. Also, last time I went up to the rooftop, discovered that they no longer have a happy hour beer on tap. And, last time I got food in the restaurant, burger as I recall, it wasn't very good. We have been there 2 times, trying to give it a real shot. They have an Incredible asset with the rooftop deck. They do not have enough staff; both times we have been there, the available tables have not been bussed. The staff on the deck is very nice but super overwhelmed, and you can tell they don't want more customers since they cannot keep up with the ones they have. It is really too bad; this place could be one of the best spots on Main Street if they could get their customer experience worked out. When the staff tells you up front that "our kitchen is really slow," that turns people off right away. I hope they will figure it out! The location and Rooftop are great. read more

Service was very good (Laurie). Salmon dinner left a lot to be desired. With all the really great restaurants in the area, not sure we'll be back. Also, the price for the garlic rolls (no garlic) was too high for an appetizer. Waited 15 min before we were able to speak with a host. We were told our wait to be seated after our reservation time would be an hour. There were several open tables. Then were told it would be an hour for our food. People were getting up and leaving because they had been sitting for over an hour for their food. Not sure how this place is still in business. My husband and I came here and we agreed that they were probably some of the best burgers we have ever had. We upgraded to the elk burger and they were phenomenal. Our server Justin was top notch and took great care of us. The vibe is great too with a beautiful bar, patio, and tvs to watch the World Cup. Must check out when you are in downtown Frisco. This place has had many iterations over the years. The current iteration makes me yearn for the old Boat Yard days. There are many better options currently in Frisco so don't waste your time. The food is sub-par at best, the pizza is the only palatable option in my opinion. Everything else is over-priced and not worth it. Adding further insult, the current bar staff and wait staff are very bad. Took us over 30 minutes just to get our bar order on a recent visit, and over 45 minutes for our food. We were seated in the bar area and it was so dark I couldn't read the menu. That was doable because I dont like bright lights anyway. I ordered the short rib burger and fries and my husband had short rib burger as well but with coleslaw. Everything was so salty that it was almost inedible. Even the coleslaw was salty. Maybe they had a mishap in the kitchen? The meat was cooked down too much? I like salt so it has to be dire for me to not eat it. The service was great and the wine selection was too. I got a decent pour of wine for a change. That was nice. I'll go back another time as this may have been a mistake in the kitchen read more

Absolutely horrendous service with even more horrendous management. I've never been chewed out by a server before and cussed that and told the look them in the eyes and tell me what I said. Similarly the food was rather tasteless and the menu that was not put together by a 2 year old that has no idea what they are trying to serve! This place will be lucky to stay in business! read more

So sad that Uptown was replaced by this. Very inconsistent and rude service and both my friend and I got sick after eating there. Likely fryer oil needed replacing. Been dining at this location for 25 years and so sad that a consistently good restaurant with a diverse menu was replaced with a much smaller, less interesting menu, subpar staff and terrible food. Dined in with large group for a birthday celebration. The entire staff was super accomodating to help us arrange a table, bring us cocktails and go over the menu with us. 14 people and everyone had a blast and had rave reviews. Cocktails and beer selection are fantastic! We had a few vegeterians and they had plenty of options to chose from. Piizza and the Prime Rib Dip were table favorites. My wife and I will be back often and I am sure our friends will be as well. Justin our bartender was top notch, Briana was helping serve and could not have been kinder and Scotty the GM checked in many times and kept things moving along for all. Walked in and the atmosphere was immediately weird. The glasses brought to us were extremely dirty with lipstick marks and other drinks still clearly staining the bottom. two waiters loudly complained about the guests that just left next to us, and were overall unprofessional but not rude. Our party of 6 all ended up ordering off the Kids menu, somehow the mac n cheese tasted like simple buttered noodles and the chicken fingers were hollow. There were no napkins, salt, pepper, or ketchup at our table, and we noticed all the surrounding ones had a nonsensical assortment of condiments and maybe a singular napkin/silverware roll. read more
