Stopped in while visiting the neighborhood this weekend. Greeted and seated right away, we could see it's a popular place. All the staff here were very friendly! There was lots of places to sit inside and out, and lots of merch to buy for some reason. Ordered a latte and French toast with Nutella and bananas, that came with eggs and bacon. My husband had the eggs Benedict with potatoes and coffee. Everything tasted great!

This is a nice café style breakfast brunch restaurant located right off Main Street. There's plenty of outdoor seating but parking can be tight. I'd recommend walking. We had the Mexican omelette and a garden omelette in both were huge portions in really tasty. The service was excellent also.

The Blue Moose was definitely my kind of place--cozy, a little mountain funky, and packed with cool merch and shirts. The staff was incredibly friendly, delivering the kind of service that makes you want to stick around. In a resort town where prices reflect the view, we found a solid hack: the portions here are massive. We ordered the big platters and packed half to go for tomorrow's breakfast. I went with a protein-packed "Create Your Own" scramble loaded with chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. I had them smother it in their vegetarian green chili--10/10, no complaints. My son opted for the sausage, egg, and cheese burrito, which was literally as big as his head. They served a hot red salsa on the side that was delicious enough to be shared by everyone. My daughter's pancakes were plate-filling and perfectly fresh. We also did a family taste test with their house-brand bottled hot sauces on the breakfast potatoes. The Garlic Serrano was the clear winner for the morning. To wash it all down, the oat milk vanilla latte was perfect. I'll admit, I was tempted by the Spice Bomb Margarita, but I wasn't about to kick off my first day in Breck getting tanked! #Breckenridge #BlueMoose #MountainLife #StrongSafetyBuild #FamilyTravel #ColoradoEats #BreckBreakfast

The Blue Moose is a Breck classic! Traditional diner ambiance with quality ingredients and generous portions delivered by attentive, friendly servers. We make the Moose a regular stop while skiing Breck. No need to drop $50 per for breakfast at other Breck venues when the Moose is ready to serve. It can get crowded so plan accordingly but the wait is worth it.

First time here in four years. My wife and I both had build-your-own omelettes. They were absolutely massive. Both had good taste, but the consistency was a bit weird, kind of falling apart when you attempted to pick pieces up with a fork. My wife would get hers without spinach next time. Biscuits and potatoes were fine, if not necessarily outstanding. My cup of fruit was massive as well. Service was friendly, but there was a long period during the meal where coffee cups sat empty before she came by again.

There's something about this restaurant that gives you an excitement! It's packed with fellow adventurers looking to fuel up before a day out exploring the mountains! It's teeming with energy and color... and for that alone, I really did enjoy myself! The food felt very standard on what you'd expect out of breakfast and unfortunately, our Benedict was a bit cooled & closer on the cold side (I know it was busy that day) & coffee mild. Nonetheless... I want to come back and try a different dish! It's busy in there for a reason, I just have to find my right time + plate!

This location has a small parking lot available. There is a small entrance so there isn't a waiting area or a line would build up quickly. There are 2 good sized rooms of tables. The art that decorates the walls is for sale. We went in early so were able to get a table quickly. The service was friendly. I tried a vanilla latte with almond milk and the Eggs Benedict and they had a gluten free English muffin option available which was great. I liked the hollandaise sauce, the dish was good. My friend enjoyed her pancake. It is definitely a stop to check out.

Every time I stay the weekend in Breckenridge, I stop by Blue Moose for breakfast before heading back home! It's actually the only breakfast spot I've tried there but it's just part of our tradition. We always get a cinnamon roll to split while waiting for our meal (not pictured but so so good!) they have a wide variety of foods whether you're looking to eat healthy or indulge. The staff is always friendly and the service is great! If you don't get there early, it can get pretty busy, but it's worth stopping by if you're looking for a breakfast place!

OVERPRICED FOOD AT THE Blue Moose. This is based on my experience with my food. The woman that was being trained today and was really fun and so was her trainer. Great personality and very attentive .But I can't believe that I paid $24 for two pieces of cold French toast with cold syrup one egg that was cooked perfect and pressed ham. My husband's ranchero was delicious but still two breakfast two juice was over $50 before tip. Yes they finally take credit cards but is it really worth the cost for a plate? I say no. Overall, the place was clean. Service was great, but the food was very mediocre and the corn beef hash is straight out of the can! We could've gone to a really nice place for lunch and it would've been so much better. I just can't!

Large pancakes. Next time I just get one.

It's okay. You go here because options are limited- not many breakfast restaurants in this corner of town. I'm downgrading it from a previous review- four stars to three, but if I could I'd give it 3.5 stars. Be prepared for the upsell from plain syrup on the table to the premium syrup.

The place is a really cool beach vibe hometown vibe. The staff was an 8/10 and the food unfortunately was a 6/10. Still definitely enjoyed the breakfast experience. Would eat here again.

We spend a few months out of the year here and decided to give blue moose another try and regret it. The service is fine, they were nice, the ambiance is just ok, you're next to the road and the road noise from trucks and motorcycles takes away from the vibes. It's just a poor location for outdoor seating. The food is subpar. For my birthday I ordered a mimosa and it came in an ice tea plastic cup with ice ‍. A super dry cinnamon role and biscuits and gravy that missed the sausage. It tasted like buttermilk and water blended together over tall biscuits that lacked any flavor. I was so disappointed. I won't return for the food was terrible

Like this place a lot! First time here and damn was it good. The breakfast pot pie was delicious the biscuits fluffy and yummy. The breakfast shot with bacon on top was a good touch. Good service even when busy. Reccomend this.

I won't divulge how to find this place because that was half the battle and made it worth the wait. We ultimately were gathered in the hotel lobby to take us back to the speakeasy - the welcome drink was a super nice touch! The speakeasy itself is fairly tiny - seats about 30? It felt super swanky and loved all the wood - felt like we were somewhere back in the 30s. The cocktail connoisseur behind the bar, Danny, makes you a custom made drink based your preferences. They can of course make standard drinks but what fun is that? In their menu, they have a list of the most popular liquors (gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) and then flavors that typically pair with those liquors. For example, I wanted some sort of whiskey sour and asked to make it with peach or ginger flavors. My husband asked for a gin drink with crème de violet and got a delicious play on an Aviation cocktail with aloe and rosemary simple syrup. Overall, a little bit of a hiccup to find it and get in, but the experience was awesome! Was a little scared when there weren't any prices on the menu, but for the overall experience of getting a custom crafted cocktail, it felt worth it. Follow the canary! I am 56 and my friend is 73. We have been friends for 26 years and we took a girls getaway to Breckenridge. I can't begin to say enough positive things about your establishment! The martinis were absolutely scrumptious. Christian is a dedicated young man, and as I told him he is like "an old soul in a young body". I mean that with the highest regard! He is completely squared away, he was personable, kind, and friendly while still tending to all of the guests that were there. One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! The only thing I would ask in return is that the owner of Cecilia's please recognize Christian for all of his efforts. Too often in life, people are very quick to complain about a negative experience and as a result, no one will take the time to reward positive experiences. I'm hoping as the owner of this establishment will recieve this message and anything else that you can do as an incentive for your employees will trickle down to Christian God Bless, Vicky & Anna
