I took my wife's Omega…read moreConstellation in for a simple battery change, a picture of the movement and also to find out exactly how big the band was. Figured it's a simple enough task for a watch store to handle. Well, upon asking if they could measure the band for me the lady was able to muster up a good look of disgust and told me she was unsure how they were going to do that. Really? (Pull a band pin out and lay it flat and measure it with any number of primitive measuring devices such as, oh I don't know, a ruler or tape measure maybe??) So, the watch goes into the back for the battery change and the gentlemen comes back out with *gasp* a pin removed and a tape measure, go figure. We get it measured and all is fine. 30 minutes goes by and I'm kind of wondering where the heck the watch went. Yup, you guessed it. Broke a link putting it back together. I get it, accidents happen. But I think this is beyond just a simple mistake. I lost all confidence in this shop and their employees. The guy that busted the link was incredibly sorry, I get that and it's OK my friend. Heck, I break stuff all the time but that's why I brought the watch into the watch shop for repair and service, not doing it myself. I wouldn't trust these people servicing anything more expensive than a Seiko. I'm giving 2 stars and not just 1 because they have some very nice pieces in their shop. The gentlemen who I can only imagine as the owner was really friendly to those I watched him interact with. One lady saw me standing their and invited me to sit down in her office so I wouldn't have to keep standing. There was some friendliness but lacked knowledge of what you would figure as simple watch repairs.

Dr. Perryman is the best! It's wonderful place. I love the ladies at the desk as well. They are always so helpful and nice With the COVID19, they made everything more comfortable. The only complaint I had today is about the red headed young girl who was doing the glasses . I was going to sit my 2 year old in the chair to put his shoes on and her tone was a little off about us needing to sit to the side. But she may not have had a good day or something. I hope our next meeting goes better and if she was having a bad day, it got better.

They took their time and made sure you were happy with your choices. But beyond that, my spouse had a serious eye condition. He has been to several optometrists over the years and told he had holes in his retinas but was never told it was important to have it checked beyond an eye exam. Family Eye Center did not just pass him off. They schedule him to see a specialist where he found out one of the holes was leaking. If he had waited much longer he could have lost vision in that eye. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I can not express my gratitude and appreciation for everything you did for us.

Yes the furniture can be pricey, but still a lot cheaper than new and better brands will be higher. I am an avid thrifter, so I know how to shop and compare.

It was for a "project" and I didn't want to invest a lot of money in one. Being from out of town and while sitting in the car waiting on my wife as she shopped a couple of the local shops, I called a couple of the local thrift stores and inquired as to if they had any toaster ovens. The only one in Enterprise, AL, that had one was the Christian Mission Store, and the nice lady said they had several. So, on the way out of town we stopped by the store. They indeed probably had a half dozen or so of the ovens sitting on the shelf. I chose a digital one and it has worked out great for me!!! Digitals seem to hold a more precise and consistent temperature than analog ovens do. Anyhow, the people at the store (and on the phone!) were very courteous and helpful!!! They had lots of merchandise and the place was clean (unlike some other thrift stores that I've been in). If you're looking for a specific item and don't want to spend a lot for "new" give the Christian Mission Store in Enterprise a call, or better yet...drop by and browse the shelves!!! :)
