My number one store for crafts . The send you coupons on the mail or by email. Last time I bought a wood burner tool that was $30 +TX with my 50 % coupon it only cost me half. They have so much stuff to choose from and it gives you ideas on new projects. Everyone I come to this store I wish I had like at list 5 thousand dollars , I always want to take everything with me. To say the least I ordered an item online and came to pick up two days after and they said it never went through, although I saw the thank you for your order page, the girl who looked for my order said I could buy it there and use the same coupon which was still valid but Dwayne managed to give the worst customer services and say ah no you can't use the coupon. read more

DO NOT ORDER SAME DAY SHIPPING FROM MICHAELS. THEY SHIP THROUGH DOOR DASH AND MY ORDER WAS NOT PROPERLY DELIVERED, and THEREFORE STOLEN. MICHAELS IS VERY UNINTERESTED IN HELPING ME AND WILL NOT REFUND ME. I have integrity, which is something a lot of others don't, so I asked for proof that the package was even delivered and they cannot provide it other than the door dash driver saying it was delivered. My order was over 100 dollars and I did not receive a single penny refund or anything in my order. Had to completely reorder everything for a time-dependent project, so 200 total, during a recession no less. I have been shopping with Micheal's for years and this is just plain disappointing. I was there today a little after 5. There were two people in line, I was the second person. The first person was taken, then the cashier (an older lady with a short salt/pepper hair) walks away and said I needed to wait for a cashier. There were plenty of employees walking around, why wouldn't you want to cash out a Pago g customer. I frequent Michaels so I was just buying items on a whine, so I put the items down and walked away. My new motto is If Hobby Lobby doesn't have it, then I don't need it. People need to do a better job at training employees on how to treat customers. I get better treatment at dollar tree. I've gone here so many times for arts and crafts and i've never had a problem! Today, we went to get some things for a project and the customer service was great! Even when the lady was working at the checkout desk, she kindly pointed us in the right direction. Their supplies are sold at a reasonable price and they sell everything! It happens every time. I have been to this store a handful of times over the past few years and it's TERRIBLE each time. Where is the staff? Every time I visit I almost never find anyone in the aisles and there's always a long line of one clerk ringing people up. The worst part, if you ask where anything is,most of the time they have no idea or just point you to a general direction. I'm from A small town in NC and when I moved here I had large expectations of Las Vegas and crafty, original people. Honestly this tiny Michaels was a huge disappointment. My Michaels at home was way larger with a way bigger selection. Plus I usually have to argue tha AC Moore is a competitor to get them to accept my coupons... Ugh read more

This is probably one of the best Michaels in town that I enjoy going to. I've shopped at other Michaels throughout town but they don't have as much selections as this one does. Clean place and organized. Customer service can be worked on some. Never get greeted nor asked for help. When I need help, usually I would have to go search for someone. read more

Came in to this store to pickup an item I had called to put on hold. The young man behind the counter said it wasn't there. I asked if he was sure, and he said no. I found someone else in the store to assist me, 45 minutes later we still hadn't found the item (it was the last one). He went behind the counter and there it was on hold with my name on it. This store is actually pretty good compared to others I have been to. It's not loaded with pretentious, Millennial art students dictating the cash registers who I want to possess and cause spiritual harm to. Instead, there are normal, polite, smart people ringing me up. There are always sales on art supplies and this store actually has these item available to sell. There's always clearance/damaged item's for sale that are actually useful. Basically, this store isn't a corporate garage sale, unlike that crap store near south Decatur. However, the line tends to build up pretty fast at any given moment, mostly with soccer moms (with their demonic children) and wannabe model wives shopping for plastic flowers. I like the variety of supplies this location has but when it takes 3 min to get what you need (paint and a brush) then you stand in the check out line for 20 min (not an exaggeration) because they only have 2 check out stands open and 11 people in line id rather order my stuff online or get it elsewhere... read more

I shop at this Michael's about 3-5 times a month, yes I'm a do it your self kind of person. I have had a few issues with items not being in the right location, items not in stock and prices not matching when I get to the register and it's very frustrating especially when I just want to get in and out of the store on my lunch break. But even after my frustration Jill the lovely Cashier always places a smile on my face with her kindness, patience and great personality, it's hard to complain when you receive great customer service. read more

I am a Michael's frequent shopper. The Centennial store is closest to my home. I don't foresee shopping there again anytime in the near future. The problem is the last several trips to this particular store I have observed many disgruntled employees. I have witnessed other customers reactions as they witness the behavior. Not one employee that I have encountered has appeared to enjoy their job. After tonight's visit, with my husband in tow, I decided to write this review because he actually commented to me that it appeared no one cares to be there and the customer service was lacking. I would suggest someone higher up take some time to visit and evaluate what can be done to boost morale at this location. Happy employees equate to happy customers which equates to more spending and bigger revenue for your company. read more

Went to this Michaels for my framing needs. Store is well stocked and all of the employees are very friendly. Only four stars because there was quite a bit of trash on the floors which is unwelcoming but it is not bad enough to keep me from coming back. Overall I recommend this establishment. read more

We decided we need a hobby it' too darn hot out !! So we went to our local Michaels and picked up a few items including a candle making kit. I have had several items framed at this location. They say it will talk about two weeks but they have always been done before that. The frames came looking great! Keep and eye out for specials. They seem to move things around... a lot. Seriously, it seems like every time I come here the sections have been moved. They have an awesome selection on crafts and arts, from beads, to yarns, art paper, scrapbooking, framing, and pretty much any home craft your inner artist wants. The downside is they are pretty pricey, and service isn't always great. Everytime I have shopped here there seems to be only one or two cashiers on duty, when they have about six registers, and there is always a long line. Plus, you seriously have to go hunt down an employee to get help. How bad is this hunting process? They have buttons in the store for you to push to get an employee to crawl out of whatever dark corner they have decided to sleep in. I once walked through the entire store and did not find ONE person, but I did see three people in a back room standing around a craft table looking at crafts they had made. Oh yeah, didn't know that they make things and sell them here did ya? They do. They make everything from painted foam pumpkins to simple wreaths. And how much, pray tell is this stuff? Way to much. They have a huge wreath for almost 1000$ there. Really. On sale even. Made from things you can buy there, and make yourself, for less. Or the dollar store. Whichever. read more

Michaels is a great store but this location is horribly ran by Assistant Store Manager Valerie.... I got off my couch today due to them having a 1 day sale for Christmas bakeware items I saw on their website for buy 2 get 1 free. Upon my arrival the store had what I wanted even better they had 40% off of the selection I needed I get to the front Valerie tells me she has never heard of this deal I said your the manager it's on your website for today only... So I purchased my items because I was getting upset with her non customer service skills and search their website I pull it up and then she says it's off regular price items It said a excludes clearance not sale price. Then she tried to pull it up on her phone she claims she couldn't find it then another associate comes up and pulls it up on her phone.... Oh but it wasn't a deal before yeah right..... Next they try to "school" me on Michaels coupons I have been using their coupons forever they are a very great store with coupon usage. She even had the audacity to say I can charge you the regular price and then honor the coupon and not give you 40% off but your going to owe me more money.... My wife made a recent purchase at the Tropical Pkwy. location using her American Express card. When I attempted to return one of the items today, they were unable to issue a refund back to our account since I used my American Express and not hers, even though the cards are linked together. Their answer was to return with my wife's card and stand on the lengthy checkout line (since they don't have a return counter) or settle for one of there store credits. And why would I want one of store credits when all I wanted was a simple refund to my card. Upon arriving home I called American Express to find the truth. I was informed it is up to each individual merchant, however they will reach out to Michaels to help them improve their customer service experience. Come on Michaels, get with the times! read more

this store and it's workers confuse me. it's very small, very cramped, and when I asked where the sewing stuff was and if they sold machines, the worker told me "yes behind the paint." as an art student, i know there's no sewing machines behind the paint, there's canvas. been here plenty for paint and stuff. i was left on my own witch hunt for the mystical sewing machines. in case you didn't know, they don't sell sewing machines. they barely sell needles. staff definitely needs training and to be informed to HELP their customers. if i knew i was going to have to find it myself, i never wouldve asked. read more
