I understand that this restaurant has a storied past, and was previously a favorite stop for many former governors. But I fear those days are long past.

Fantastic! And a tremendous value. We were quite shocked that our entire meal, including 2 sodas came to less that $40, such that we left double that bc these small businesses are such treasures and we want such places to remain in business. Would I be back? Most likely not as I had mentioned above that this place has never been one of my favorites but I am sure I am in the minority.
