I'll start by saying this is a post-covid delivery service review. Pre-covid I've been to dine in for after work get together and food and service were 4 star for sure. Buffalo chicken (fried) pizza, Buffalo wings and garlic knots. Garlic knots- amazing! Wings were kind of soggy and the pizza was not great. I'm sure dining in is fine as is has been in the past but using a 3rd party delivery is not. read more

Y-U-M! this is a local spot that I frequently go to. The Mac and cheese with the panko bread crumbs and jersey chicken tenders are a MUST HAVE anytime I go for drinks. The burgers are huge! (truthfully I order a kids cheeseburger because the original one is too much to finish and I don't like reheating burgers). I would whole heartedly recommend any of their menu items, I have yet to be disappointed with any food I've tried. I love the renovations that they did, sometimes they have live entertainment but I don't know how that works with Covid rules. I've only had dinner and drinks in their outside tents during the warmer weather and take out now in the winter because it can get a little packed indoors. Great local place to try! read more

First time visit for dinner on the way into NYC and was very pleased with the food. It was New Years Eve, 5pm, and the place was packed. Great Irish band in-house called "The Captain and O'Neill" and was told reservations were need but showed up on Luck. Two deep at the bar for drinks, staff was attentive and ordered food. No place to eat at the bar, they found us a couple empty seats and enjoyed a delicious open face corned beef Rueben, meat cooed to perfection although I am a fan of hand sliced Corned Beef. Also enjoyed shrimp scampi that my date said was great. Will go back at a less busy time to check it out but for this experience the was great both staff and food. read more

This place is a pub, so we went in with lower expectations. What we got was excellent service, great food, fair pricing, and an honest good time. This place earns every star. I can't not say enough good things about this little treasure! Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle (Kathy & Logan) for being regulars here, I too have come to love it! The drinks are always made perfectly and the food?!? What can I say, but aaahhhhmazing! You can pick from the regular menu which has a variety of different choices or every day they have delicious sounding specials. They go above and beyond a regular bar menu and pump it up 1000%. I've never had a bad meal here. The staff is friendly and always on top of everything. You feel very welcomed when you step into this place and that's a big deal. read more

Been DYING to find a restaurant/diner with an amazing burger ever since my favorite closed down. Even tho this place is literally a 15 min walk/ 3 min drive , I've never been to it. This is hands down my new favorite place to get it from! The burger had so much flavor in it and it was so delicious and juicy. Other then the fact that my burger didn't have the extra cheese like I asked, it was still so amazing! Definitely will be ordering from here from now on. read more

Waitress was great, food came fast but unfortunately my buffalo chicken salad had not 1, but 2 hairs in it!!! And although the 2nd waitress apologized, she followed it by "It happens, we're human". This place literally did not miss a beat during or after the pandemic. Not only are they one of the most family friendly restaurants in this area, but the food and drinks are always consistent- I've never had a bad meal. I also have yet to find a restaurant whose red sauce is comparable to Roscommon's. It's light and delicious- even my 13 month old loves it. I'd highly recommend trying this place if you haven't already. And do yourself a favor- order the Roni Knots. read more

We randomly discovered this place (that is only a few minutes from our house) while trying to figure out what to order one night during the beginning of COVID - I can't believe we didn't know about Michael's Roscommon sooner!! Honestly, great! I had a great time on a Saturday night with my three friends. The music was good, the food was great, and the service was fantastic. Everyone was very nice and accommodating; once it got cold we asked if we could get a table indoors and they found one for us (even with how busy it was which included a birthday party!) This definitely my go-to when I'm wanting to eat out, but don't wanna go far. I've lived in the neighborhood for about 3.5 years now, & I've explored a big portion of their menu. Can I just say it's ALL good? No, really. It's ALL good. They have a spacious dining area during the day, a huge bar area with plenty of TV's, and they recently added a gaming room with a new outdoor seating area. The night life in this place is LIVE! If you're looking for a great bar& grill to visit on the weekend, this won't disappoint. My personal favorites are their burgers. All of them are delicious! Their bar has tap on tap on tap! I regret ordering their $3 'side salad'...it was served in one of those normal sized salad bowls for a family dinner (fresh veggies too)! Their $5 bar pie could feed easily 3 people. Their hamburgers are huuuge with a healthy serving of fries. The mozzarella sticks & fried mac & cheese bits are sooo fuckin' good, good, good. Their Jersey wings are their speciality & that garlic sauce they're drenched in makes you want to slather it all over yourself OR slather it on someone else & lick it off them...jus'sayin'. With all of the Irish regalia in this place you'd think you would be able to get a nice brisket sandwich... I guess you could if it were even on the menu. I had a Sheppards pie and wasn't impressed as Marie Calendar suspiciously has the exact same portion sized product in any frozen food section of a local supermarket. My son had an unremarkable steak and we did give the "jersey Wings " a shot . They are basically deep fried skin on wings tossed in Italian dressing...different yes worth a special trip NO. Decent selection of beers but my son's milk was $5....yes FIVE DOLLARS a glass!! This was adequate for pub food. The salad I ordered would have been excellent if it hadn't been smothered in salad dressing. The appetizer calamari bang bang was very tasty. Basically fried calamari in a teriyaki & honey sauce. My guests enjoyed the cheeseburger, Shepherds pie & a seafood special which was very good. My main complaint is the service. There were 4 waitresses serving 4 tables and I could not even catch the eye of one of them. At one point I was waving my hand in the air & still no one noticed. Imagine if they were actually busy! I go here often with friends and it is still a consistent fave! The food is always cooked to perfection and the drinks are outstanding. Food: The Jersey Burger is amazing ... taylor ham & "jersey sauce" on a burger ... doesn't get any better! If the Jersey Burger isn't you thing no worries they have so many other amazing burgers everyone can find a favorite, like the Arlington burger which is stuffed with sausage & topped with cheddar cheese and onions! yummm! The Jersey wings are delicious! Perfectly cooked & the sauce is amazingly good! The mac & cheese is homemade and it is sooooo good! Goes perfect with the baby back ribs! They are so tender & juicy, they melt in your mouth! .. amazing flavor & always on point! Bar: The bar is great... good drinks at a reasonable price. They have a good selection of beer on tap. I live down the street so I come here as a last minute thing. I have had their jersey wings and personally, way too much dressing for me (literally drowning in them). Burgers are your typical bar experience. They have a baked mac and cheese that I like a lot. One of the days of the week they have a ribs special - I thought the ribs were whatever but my boyfriend hated them, barely touched them and told the waitress they dont fall off the bone like they say, ha! I wasn't crazy about their wraps/sandwiches either. Basically, stick with appetizers or burgers is my opinion. They have outside seating when its nice which is fun. There is the bar and a dining area as well but I have only been in the bar section or outside. The drinks are strong so that is always good, my boyfriend got LIT's and went from sober to black out in 3 or 4 drinks - but be careful it sneaks up on you. read more

I love this place. I have been coming here for years and have yet to be disappointed. They have a diverse menu along with some of the best bartenders and servers I have ever had. I recently went to dinner with my family because they have redone their menu and we had to give it a try. My father had their new Shepperds Pie and he almost ordered a second because it was so good. My mother tried their new fish and chips recipe, not onyl was the portion enough for two, but it was better than any place she has ever been too. I tried their new fall off the bone rib recipe and it lived up to its name. Apart from their amazing food they also have a great weekend party atmosphere. They have a dj every Friday and Saturday night and that along with the string drinks being served makes for a memorable weekend. I suggest this to anyone looking for a great night out at a laid back friendly place. read more

Has become just way over priced and greedy. we are just not going to order from anymore. good food, but there are many good resturants around at much more reasonable prices. disappointing, new website/menu still a disaster, they just cannot figure out how to do right, kind of became a family laugh when we order guessing what that special might be and misspellings. No daily specials listed now, but they could never figure out how to update and give any details, silly names that you would have to ask what is it?? over and over when calling up, got tiring to have to ask what 3-5 specials were because it made no sense by label given, example jo-anns sandwich?? Prices have increased and is not such a great deal compaired with other local resturants. $14 for calamar appitizer when local places are $8-9 for bigger portion. ribs are $6 more than nearby resturant (and much better ribs/more ribs) and so on. they are just getting way too greedy and even though food is good, we are not willing to pay the extra 30-50% cost of other great resturants in the area. fast delivery was nice but not for an extra $15-25 for dinner order. read more

Service is friendly and prompt. Menu has a lot of options which is good. Food was just okay. We've been here a few times and have ordered off the menu as well as daily specials. We've never had anything that was great. We always ask for our burgers medium and they've come out very over cooked. This place has so many great reviews so we continue to give it a chance but I just don't see the 5 star reviews. Coincidentally overheard the table next to us , refer to their dinner as "just okay" as well. Went in on a Saturday night later in the evening with a big group. Great cocktails that were strong but tasted right on. The locals we went with raved about the "jersey wings" which we got a couple of orders of. They were okay. Chicken wings were actually a bit touch and the sauce was like an Italian dressing with garlic and Parmesan. I don't know that I would order again. I had a pasta dish that was surprisingly really really good. The shrimp was well cooked and fresh and the veggies in the dish were great. Other people were happy with burgers that seemed preppy to standard --- nothing special. Service sucked. Not friendly at all and never brought the basic stuff like ketchup, cheese, extra napkins, etc. read more
