I have been here several times over the years, and I have never had a bad meal. I really love the decor and the layout of this place. Lots of wood, with fireplaces and little nooks and crannies. It sets a vibe. Also, the service is always extremely friendly. One of my favorite meals here is the Irish Breakfast. This is a hearty dish filled with sausages, eggs, beans, tomatoes, and top notch soda bread. It is also very well priced. I've also had delicious Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, Scotch Egg, and a Lamb Shank special. Shannon Rose is a fun place for some tasty food and good drinks. Slainte! read more

Visited for the first time just today. Was seated in a corner of an empty room next to a large party. Waited 15 minutes for a server but no one came to take our orders. Menu sounds great and the atmosphere seems nice but if you're going to lose patrons in the fold on a Friday night, you're going to need to do better. Adults night out brought us to the Shannon Rose. Inside vibe is awesome. Very clean, casual and opened space. Service was top notch. Couldn't have been better. To start, I went with the Irish Eggs. Which were deep fried deviled eggs. I love deviled eggs and these were on point. I went with the Murder Burger. It was highlighted as winning an award, so I had to try it. This is a deep fried burger, with cheese, jalapeños, thousand island I believe. The deep fried was a little too much for me. I can't complain about it, what did I really expect from a burger AND bun that was deep fried? The inside components were VERY tasty and worked. For dessert, I had the Irish soda bread pudding. Usually have a good experience here. Typical Irish pub food and brews. I would say the bar experience here trumps the dining experience. Came here for their Easter brunch and was a little disappointed. Food was cold and not replenished fast enough, and quality of food was subpar. Definitely recommend ordering from regular menu than a pre fixe menu. read more

The last time I've been here at the Shannon rose was about 10 years ago. They have a nice outdoor lounge when the weather is nice, you can hang out and enjoy your drink outdoors and has a smoking area for those who do. Great parking availability and food is decent. The music and vibes were great and a good spacey dance floor! I had a good time and would definitely try it out again soon! It's been too long since I've been there but having a great experience, I would definitely try it out again! Pretty good crowd And all ages from mid 20's to early 50's age crowds. There is security at the door or a bouncer and of course you must bring and show your ID! Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I don't know if this has all changed since I've been there but will try it out again and so, I definitely do Recommend! read more

Went there to watch soccer not much of a crowd that was fun only six people at the bar don't know why I waited 10 minutes to get a drink. Then the Guinness was flat waited another 10 minutes to order food in 20 minutes to get it bartender had a bit of an attitude. She asked if I wanted another beer I said yes but five minutes later I didn't have it so I said she could skip it and I'll take the check. He said oh I added it to your bill. That's funny because the keg was empty and nothing was coming out. Waited another 10 minutes just to pay Real waste of time today Manager comped my flat beer will not be back. We entered the very large establishment to a dining room/bar area that was nicely decorated in traditional Irish fashion. We took a seat at the bar and ordered a drunken chicken sandwich. The sandwich was made by stuffing tender delicious chicken, pesto and vodka sauce in a very nice pizza dough and a little cup of extra vodka sauce to dip in. I added $2 to substitute onion rings instead of fries. The onion rings were also very good but if you're going to upcharge me I think you could give more than 4 onion rings! A minor complaint. We quickly realized the the place is enormous! 4 different bar areas wound through dining areas made this bar guy happy! The place obviously did not anticipate the crowd they would have (as told to me by one of the servers) on a Memorial Day Sunday night. The service was a little strained due to this but the bartender worked very hard to make up for it. She is a credit to the establishment. We wound up moving to one of the rear bars when we found out the band was setting up there. I also wandered into the outdoor adaptable area that included a 5th bar! I walked into the restaurant at 2:00 P.M. and the place looked abandoned. Lights out in the back dining room. No host, servers, or bartender in sight. Two customers were sitting at the bar. That was the only sign of life in the entire restaurant. I was with three other people. it must have been at least five minutes before I even saw a restaurant employee. I would have left except one person in our party went to the restaurant room. It was only at that time that the bartender reappeared and seated us. Our party of four was the only occupied table. Yet, it was a while before a server appeared. After ordering, we only saw the server sporadicall. Given that there were no customers, the service should have been more attentive. Yet, the staff was constantly disappearing. I guess hanging out in the back was more important. Truthfully, for most of the time I was there, the dining room was COMPLETELY unattended. No sign of any employees. I saw two parties come in after me and completely ignore. No one to welcome or seat them. While the food was good and the lunch special was a decent value, I highly doubt I will ever return. I have experienced poor service before but this was a complete lack of any service. read more

On this visit I ordered donut holes to start they were pretty good they came with salted caramel dipping sauce which was pretty good they both complimented each other as far as flavor goes. The main course was Shepard pie with a side of Irish soda bread. The Irish soda was very good and seemed fresh. The Shepard pie itself was pretty good it was creamy and came with plenty of meat and veggies which I like. Me and a friend sat at the outside bar, where the bartender was super sweet, helpful, and attentive. We split a Tuscan big bottle of water. He ordered a burger with tater tots--both looked spot-on. Perfectly cooked tots, and when I asked how the burger was, he hit me with, 'How can you fuck up a burger?' So yeah, I'm guessing he was satisfied. I went with something I hadn't seen before--corned beef and cabbage egg rolls. Unreal. The inside was finely ground corned beef with tiny potato chunks--moist, flavorful, and wrapped in a perfectly crispy shell. It's clearly made with care and a great use of their in-house corned beef, which I'm sure is always on standby in a place like this. A+ dish. Plenty of TVs around with sports on, good service, and good food. Worth stopping in. read more

Well for one thing, you wouldn't expect to see a huge cockroach 3 ft from the front door. Second, I expected to see a decent amount of people because it was a Saturday night with a band performing. Once seated there was an awful smell from the bathroom. I couldn't even order food. And the band itself could barely be heard let alone play anything recognizable. read more
