During the statewide "Stay at Home" order, my family started to get antsy and needed something to do to stay busy. We decided to do an online paint night and needed some supplies. Michaels had all the supplies that we needed and we were able to purchase them online, then pick up from the store. The location of the store is very convenient-right near lots of other retail and restaurants. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. My wife went in to the store with our order confirmation and was able to pick up our art supplies in no time. I have not visited this location previously, but will definitely return once we are able to browse stores again. read more

I went there to drop off a package and I was treated like a was a nuisance . The first employee was already annoyed when I came in and told me to go to a different area of the store to be assisted , which was the "greeting " I received . Once I brought my package to the counter , a lady randomly showed up from the side as the counter was empty and she was not in there to start with . I asked her if I could pay to print a label and she looks at me like I'm crazy and says no . I asked her if they have any tape to help me seal the box and she frowns and says she doesn't know . She then proceeded to refer me to an office store across the street that was closed ‍ I did myself a favor and changed part of town . I won't be returning to Michael's for any UPS needs for sure . If you look at people like they're landing from mars over printing a label or needing some tape, you have no business shipping or receiving anything . Yikes . read more

Went in to look for some Saint Patrick's day decor for my baby photography session an employee was able to help me find the items in stock very quickly. The store was neat and organized and self checkout was smooth and fast. read more

Be careful of Michael's at Jordan Land in West Jordan. The switch prices on you. I bought an item and the prices was higher than the sign said. Showed the manager and she went way to the front of the store and grabbed another sign. It was different than the sign at the place the item was picked up said. She wouldn't even entertain looking or understanding what I was trying to tell her and just walked off. read more

The manager Mike treated me and my mother worse than I have ever been treated by a customer service provider. I have been going to this store for years, and I am shocked. I don't know how anyone can be so awful and be in customer service, let alone by a store manager. Unbelievable. He also violated HIPAA laws when he asked for personal medical information. I will no longer be shopping at this store while he is still employed there. Emily, on the other hand, was a very kind employee and would make a much better manager. read more

Not happy at all Ordered things online during black Friday and more than half of my items came back damaged. When I took it back to the store they said they couldn't give me the same price to replace the items... At least I got my money back. Ok, so now you need to use CASH at Michaels or go to a machine to use credit BUT DON'T TRY TO USE A COUPON because you have to type in your full name, phone number, and email address- God forbid you just scan in the coupon's barcode! This place is great if you know what you need and aren't in a hurry. It's really hard to find staff that will help you, and even if you find someone they frequently have no idea what you're looking for or even the general area it would be. Getting fabric is a nightmare. I have bought fabric here twice, and both times I have sat by the fabric table pressing the help button for at least ten minutes. I had employees walk past me and still didn't get any help. And checkout. There will either be a line of six people with full carts for one cashier, or no line and no cashier. I have only seen two registers open once. And that was after 20 minutes of waiting in a line of 15+ people. The saving grace for this store in my book is the fact that they're very pet friendly. I can bring my dogs in for training with no problem. read more

Giving three stars not because of product selection but because of poor customer service. I went to the store looking to buy frames at Michael's. They always are on sale. I selected a few, finished my shopping and went to be checked out. Pamela (a five-year associate) , started to ring me up. When she began I specifically asked her to indicate if I had any frames that were not on sale. When she was done ringing me up I asked her "Did I get any frames that were not on sale" and her response was "I don't know". I then looked at her and said I asked you the beginning of this transaction to let me know if I picked up any frames that were not sale. She said "well I would have to ring everything up again". Honestly I really didn't care I was irritated at the fact that she can't follow simple instructions to let me know if I purchased anything that was not on sale. After looking through everything I do believe I had purchased one frame that was not on sale. But the ordeal just left me irritated . "Associates" you have one job - provide good customer service. Giving this place five stars. Came in looking for something specifically for a gift for a teacher and the first worker that I spoke to went over and above the call of duty. Told her what I wanted and she recommended a few items and stayed with me until I decided which one I wanted and even asked questions to help me pick the right gift. Teacher loved the gift. Customer service was one of the best I've ever had at Michael's. Service with a smile, is the best. Great job. read more

I love going to craft stores, but sometimes it might get confusing looking for certain items. The woman there was VERY helpful and kind.

I love this I honestly can live here. I walk in for one thing and live with like 10 things lol.The good this that there's always coupons and if you forget yours the cashier's are always ready to give you give what they have on hand. The only thing and why I gave them 4 stars is that their prices are never listed on correctly I had to figure it out myself by reading the scu on the item and on the label on the shelf. Because I just hate going up to the register and asking for the price and then leaving what I dont want . Other than that I always come here Michael's is my fav!!! read more

Great store to wander around because it's filled with a million items and it takes time to look over everything. This store is my go to Michaels because the people are helpful and the store is organized. Also Hobby Lobby has too many religious items on display. I go to this store just for the custom framing. It's the best team of custom framers around. My only complaint is that the custom framing is always on sale, but the sale varies week to week. It's 60% off one week followed by 60% plus 10% off the next. It's a petty complaint on my part, for sure, but the sale thing seems gimmicky. My recommendation is to adjust everyday pricing to reflect a standard sale price, since the framing is 'on sale' every day anyway. read more

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I usually don't write reviews but this is the second time I've been treated like scum. The first time, I had left my wallet in the cart before I left on accident. I called them three minutes after closing and someone answered. I was in a panic because, well, my whole life is in my wallet. The night manager, I assume, interrupted me midway through my explanation with "What's your number?" She then proceeded to tell me she couldn't do anything about it even though I was sitting in the parking lot. After several more interruptions, I was able to get my wallet. This time, I tried to return an easel I bought and the cashier name Laurie told me there was nothing she could do about it because I paid cash. I asked if in-store credit was an option. "No." "Well, can I run my card to see if it was paid for on that?" "Yeah. K swipe." She never even apologized. I told her I would never return to the store again and she ignored me and proceeded with the next customer. Horrendous. I would suggest not going to this Michael's. Hopefully we'll run these people that don't deserve a job in the service industry out of it. read more
