When you venture too far out of Jersey/Philadelphia, it's common to find the pizza in other areas... Just not up to par. That is what we found here at Michelangelo's. The pizza was not bad, but not to the standard we are used to - and don't even think about reheating it afterwards eat it there or leave it in the trash. The place was busy on a Friday night, but it was Halloween; the biggest pizza night of the year. There was plenty of counter staff and kitchen help bustling about. They were all super friendly and eager to get our order in into the table. The fountain machine was down so that was a minor inconvenience. The pricing was a bit on the high side charging $7.50 just for two toppings. Leaving us with pretty much a $40 bill for lackluster Pizza and soda for two people. It was served hot and with a smile. My recommendation? If you're really wanting pizza, it is, pizza and you're not running into a pizza shop on every corner in this area. It's not gonna squelch that craving completely, but it will feed you. I can't speak to their other items because we were just grabbing a quick bite before we headed back home. We were sent there under the high recommendations of everyone in line at the Cumberland Farms down the road so I am guessing for the area. It is the best you're going to find. read more

I have to do this and I'm really sorry about it. But I have to give it honest opinion I must say I do like the dough from their pizza. I get it to make my own pizza all the time lately I've been getting a chicken finger wrap with lettuce, tomato onions, mayonnaise, and olive oil oil. They screwed it up once it didn't have any mayonnaise or olive oil in it the lady said I could get it remade since I work at crops next-door. I didn't have time so I came over the next day and asked if I can get it remade again. I will be honest. She was very nice. She said she hoped it was to my liking, but it is not it has nothing on it once again. worst wraps I've ever had. This is a perfect pizza place,they have several menu options to cater to other needs as well. The team maintains the restaurant very well and is always nice and clean. You can have a dine in ot call in order to pick up. I have done both dine in and pickup. Both are perfect. They run specials on weekdays pickups for pizza orders are ready very fast, I have tried their veggie pizza, cheese pizza, garlic knots, fries, and calzones/Stromboli. I take the blame for ordering a cheesesteak from a pizza place. Very often you can get a satisfactory cheesesteak in such a situation, but definitely not the case here. Walked in after opening to grab 2 pepperoni slices and they were super solid. The dough is on the thicker side but I like that personally and it was still crisp + seasoned perfect. We placed an order to Michangelos via GrubHub. I had to put my phone on the charger and when checking it noticed I had three missed calls from the restaurant about 4 minutes prior. I called back and some woman answered and didn't identify herself or the restaurant in the most dead, emotionless voice I've ever heard. Overall I'm a big fan of Michelangelo's! I just had a pizza from them two nights ago and couldn't stop saying how perfect it was. That being said, tonight I ordered the Cajun Shrimp wrap, which I've had quite a few times in the past and loved. Ordered a brick oven pizza and requested it well done. Turns out there brick oven is off, second time I ordered a pizza that this happpened. Why would they charge me the higher price for thiis when it's not even the same product. To make matters worse the pie was undercooked with little to no cheese and all sauce. It's a shame that the staff of this restaurant has zero personal skills or customer service. The food is pretty good but we've been burned so many times with horrible customer service - both takeout and eating in. Just two of our most recent experiences... Takeout: we discovered we were given the incorrect pasta dish when we got home. We called and they questioned us as if we had something to gain out of it (because I wanted the wrong dish and to drive back to the restaurant?!) Then the owner demanded we bring back the incorrect dish and give it to them before they gave us the correct one. Classy. Dining in: we ordered a large pizza with half cheese/half peppers & onions and one salad. 45 minutes pass with no contact from our waitress (and we were sitting right in front of the counter, not tucked away in the back) and we ask the owner if we'd be getting our order anytime soon. He replied, "have you even ordered yet?" very rudely. We told him yes, 45 min ago. He and the waitress locked eyes and 5 minutes later we had our food. It was obviously just thrown together as the peppers and onions were completely raw and sitting on top, not even melted into the pizza. And the chicken cheese steak on top of the salad was cold. Not once did the waitress or owner apologize. In fact, neither time were we offered an apology or a discount. And these are just the two out of many times we've had this type of service. A note to the owner: A simple "sorry about that!" when you or your staff mess up goes a long way. Your pizza isn't that good that you can treat customers that way. Again, it's a shame because the food is good and it's very conveniently located for us. But I just can't deal with their crap service any longer so we won't be returning. read more

Good local business. The guys behind the counter are friendly & courteous. The owner is very nice too. They hustle, sometimes get busy but always seem to be trying to get it right. Food is very good for a pretty standard pizza shop. The pizza is well above average, and with toppings it's excellent because they use fresh vegetables. Get the mushrooms & bacon.
