So I have been passing by this place for a number of years on my way to other local pizza joints and always see one car out front. The curiosity got to us to on a whim this week, we ordered from here. We ordered a medium cheese pizza and a small spinach calzone. How small is a small? Not very at this place. The calzone was enough for three people, thin crust, very cheesy. The problem with most spinach calzones is they get watery because the spinach has not been treated properly. This one was not watery at all and was probably one of the better ones locally. It came with a couple of small containers of warm marinara. The cheese pizza was a generous size for a medium. The dough was good and it had plenty of cheese. I like the sauce from here because it's not cloyingly sweet and it has a subtle herby/basil quality which I found pleasing. The dough is not my favorite but it is ok. Inside, there are plenty of tables to sit at. I ordered online through the Slice app but the sign inside says 3.99% off for paying in cash. Stopped here on a whim to pick up some lunch on my way to Marsh Creek State Park and was pleasantly surprised with the results! I ordered the cheesesteak "wrap" because I wanted to keep it light (lol), added fried onions, American, and a little bit of mayo, it already comes with lettuce and tomato. I was SO happy that it wasn't actually a wrap, but more of a burrito! The flour tortilla was perfectly chewy and strong enough to hold everything in, my only complaint is that the meat could have been seasoned a bit more with salt and pepper... that aside, the fries were pretty good with a light dusting of something that made them super crispy on the outside and still very creamy on the in. I would definitely stop by again and order the exact same thing, but they should really be calling it the cheesesteak "burrito" so that more people are likely to try it out. read more

I am not from the area, however this is one of the few places who deliver to my friend who does. She has a gluten allergy so this place is a haven as they have an amazing selection of gluten free or gluten free substitute items on the menu. They are always really fast and fresh. The last time I got the tavern ham sandwich and (with the addition of a touch of mustard) it was just really an amazingly flavorful sandwich. Ordered take out. Our fault after giving them several attempts to make it right. Once again our order was wrong. When called we were told we could not get a refund for the order being wrong. Actually told to pack up our entire meal and bring it back!!! What??? What an insult...after speaking to 3 people that's the best U can do? Ordered a Large Sausage and hot wings. It was expected to take 40 mins, which in reality was 1 hr 15 mins. This was Friday around 6pm. But the food was good. The sausage didn't leave any grease falling off the pizza. The crust was the best part. The sausage was pretty salty and the sauce was very light. The wings were ok. Some pizza places put very little tomato sauce which leaves the pizza a bit dry. But they not only were generous with amount, but you could also tell that it was home-made. Excellent pizza. Even better than the pizza I think is the cheesesteaks. This is one of the rare places in the suburbs that if you get a Cheesesteak with Wiz then on her angle you about how horrible cheese wizards. A lot of people don't like it and I guess I get that but I'm definitely not one of them and I like my cheesesteaks authentic Philly. The large cheesesteaks are really big small Chiefs are more along the size of a regular 12. I called Cocco's for delivery one night. They requested my credit card, took my order, then told me it would be about an hour. Seriously? 1 hr for a pizza delivery, in town? After hanging up, and discussing it with my wife, I immediately called back and cancelled the order. Then I check my credit card statement online a couple days later, and what do you know, we're still charged for the pizza- even though we were assured we wouldn't. And calling Cocco's, they claim the only way to get a reimbursement at this point is to physically go in there, and show the credit card statement. I don't have time for that. I was pretty happy to discover Cocco's gluten-free offerings a while back. Their gluten-free pizza is good, not quite the "real thing" (a distant memory for me), but the best I've had. Tonight was the third and last time i order from them! The first time was perfect. The food came fast and hot! The second time, the guy couldn't find my house and spoke very broken english. It finally came 15 later than it was supposed to, mushy and warm. Tonight was fine except they gave me the wrong soda {2 liter}. I called right away about this. They apologized and said they'd send it right out. An hour later and no soda. Called back. Said it's going out now. 45 minutes later, I call back to complain. This pizza did not meet my expectations after having Giorgio's Pizza in Exton. The pizza did not have much flavor, and tasted like the average "school-lunch" type pizza. The cheese also tended to slip off the pizza after a first bite into it, so I mostly ate dough and sauce while eating this pizza. Overall, I would not recommend this place when Giorgio's Pizza just down the road proved much better. read more

I just might have found the perfect cheesesteak place in Downingtown. I've made the rounds in Philly, and for weeks I've been scouting out the neighborhood for the best. I will review the 5 or so other locations, but now for Cocco's. First, the cheesesteaks are ENORMOUS. I didn't realize my extra-meat large steak was 20 inches long. But it made for two meals: bonus! The meat is just the way I like it- diced and sliced into small particles ;). Another popular place for steaks is Lione's, but I found their meat wasn't cut enough for my liking. Cocco's pizza was great, as well as all of the food we ordered. I haven't tried the gluten-free crust, but it's great they offer it! We'll be going back again- especially to enjoy an authentic Philly Steak. One last note: delivery was fast and the food was hot. read more

Went in for a personal size Hawaiian Pizza with a small order of fries, it was delicious! The portion was huge for a personal size (not complaining). I even had leftovers for the next day. The service was also exceptional, my food was quoted to be ready in 15 minutes and there was absolutely no waiting when I arrived. I've always done delivery which has, at times, been very slow, but has also been very prompt at other times. Food was hot, and on time. I was happy with the portion sizes for the price. I had a Pizza burger with fries, and an order of buffalo chicken tenders. The pizza burger did not have enough of the pizza sauce/cheese toppings, and was fairly bland. The buffalo chicken tenders were pretty tasty, but also could have used a bit more of the buffalo sauce on them. They also could have provided an option for ranch or something to add some taste.
