Very unprofessional!!!!! I sent an email and a week later I had not received a response. I then called the 1-800 number and it was no longer in service. I texted the cell number provided and Michele did respond saying she was at a wedding and would contact me the next day. That never happened. Needless to say, my fiancee and I went elsewhere. Michele is the consummate professional. She listens to what you want and incorporates her thoughts and professional opinion just when you're flip-flopping on what to do. She did the flowers for our wedding and they were lovely. The most perfect looking hydrangeas for centerpieces, a beautiful bouquet pour moi that included lillies (to mimic my grandmother's bouquet) and little blue flowers to match our colors, and the perfect, understated boutonnieres, corsages and bouquets for the attendants and family. Her prices are great - our whole day PLUS delivery was incredibly reasonable and she even delivered the flowers a little bit ahead of schedule. I believe she is based in NH, but she comes down to Boston often for consultations and does weddings here and as far out as Worcester (a friend of mine used her for their wedding). Michele was not only a great florist for my wedding flowers, but was helpful in other areas of my wedding planning too. My bouquet was gorgeous and table pieces just as we planned. The assistant that delivered the flowers was also helpful and made sure everything was in place. She helped me locate caramel covered apples at a great price so I didn't have to do them by hand. I, personally, had a very unprofessional experience with Michele Bernard. First, I sent her two emails over a span of two weeks which went unanswered. I figured she must be busy, so I called her. She answered my call right away and we arranged to meet the following week. When I arrived at the scheduled meeting (in the lobby of a hotel) 10 minutes early, I was unsure where she was located so I called her. She did not answer my call. So I sent her a text, which also went unanswered. I walked around the lobby some more and saw her, sitting with two clients. Now it was minutes away from our scheduled meeting time. I waited 15 minutes and it didn't appear she was finishing up with these clients, so I called her. She hung up my call after two rings and sent me a text that said "sorry can't talk now." I felt this was extremely unprofessional and no way to treat someone who scheduled an appointment with you. Wedding flowers are a large investment and I do not want to work with someone who does not treat potential clients the same way as existing clients. I will not be using her or recommending her to any one. read more

My wedding is this weekend so I can't yet attest to Michele's flowers, but her personality and event managing skills are amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that the flowers will be gorgeous. She has a calming voice, for those of us who get crazy sometimes, and consistently reassures that everything will be fine...and I believe her. She offers help even when she's not responsible to get it. She's exactly what I was looking for in a wedding planner. And she's only our florist. For flowers, we should actually come in UNDER budget and as I'm in NY planning a wedding in Boston, she has had to deal with my husband to be regarding flowers and he raves about her too. We are very happy with everything leading up to the wedding day, and are confident that we will be thrilled with the flowers on the day of the event. read more

Michele did a fantastic job with my wedding flowers for August 9, 2014. There were some small early challenges where my emails were not received (spam folder mixup?) but generally I was incredibly happy with Michele's services and found her to be very easily reachable via phone. The flowers at the ceremony were gorgeous and Michele threw a lot in on top of the order with no extra charge- backup boutineers and corsages, a throw bouquet, etc. I especially appreciated Michele's willingness to work with any budget and the price transparency she provides on her website for simple wedding flower packages. Where do I start? Let me put it this way: I gave Michele ideal images for my wedding reception flowers and décor from my Pinterest board with a (low) set budget and told her to "do what you can" with my expectations being that she wouldn't be able to do much. The result? I walked into our reception, and not only had she achieved what I thought was only reachable with massive amounts of cash, but what was before me was even more beautiful than I had ever seen on any Pinterest board or in any bridal magazine. I'm not joking. It was magical with pillar candles and the assortment of deep purples and pink flowers throughout both floors of our reception. Our tables looked ridiculous with rose petals scattered all around and supported by backlit candle lighting and candelabras. My bouquet was richly embellished with some sparkling décor in a way that made it tastefully stand out against your traditional bridal bouquets. I cannot emphasize enough how far Michele surpassed my expectations by. Execution and skill aside, she is extremely organized, personable and reachable. She is willing to work with whatever budget you give her, and my experience with her was that she was always giving me extra freebies because she's just that passionate and committed to making sure you achieve the look you are going for. She's been in the industry for years and is extremely knowledgeable about everything floral and décor related. Since I got married (early April 2013), I have told everyone who has asked about my wedding about her. There is absolutely nobody that I would not recommend her to. Cheesy as it sounds, I feel like she helped make my wedding dream come true by transforming by venue into one of the most romantic wedding settings I have ever been to. People kept coming up to me at the wedding talking about how beautifully decorated it was. You would be mad not to use her for your wedding!! Also - don't be fooled by her address- my wedding was in Boston so she definitely caters to a huge New England region. read more
