Erica can spin magic out of nothing. We had a ridiculously tight budget for flowers and decor but what Erica was able to create with that budget completely blew us and our guests away. I don't really have the words to describe it- the colors, the textures, the thoughtful accents (we are both 'foodies' and she incorporated edible elements in the arrangements to carry our foodie theme in the space- asparagus, avocados, artichokes, etc). I gave her vague guidelines for color and texture and she created something that was beyond my wildest imagination! Guests are still commenting about the floral arrangements! Creativity is only one aspect I can praise about her, however. Thoughtfulness is another. My mom became ill and was hospitalized for several weeks before the wedding, and she was still very weak. We thought that she would only be able to stay for the ceremony and part of dinner and would then need to go back to the hotel room to rest. Erica said that since she was onsite anyway, she would be happy to stay with her and fetch her anything she needed and sit with her in the hotel. She will forever have my loyalty for that. We didn't need to take her up on the offer, but what florist would offer to go above and beyond like that?? Horrible service. Should rename the company "Fillers N'Colorblind". They struggle with the following issues: (1) getting orchids shipped through customs and thus using CHEAPER blooms in the bouquets despite what you paid and contracted (2) understanding inspiration pictures and clear descriptions despite frequent communication (i.e., posy vs. enormous bouquet, tall vs short, sparse vs. full) (3) choosing flowers that match swatches of fabric that you mail them i.e., my wedding colors were mauve pink and light gold, but for some reason they choose purple and fuschia centerpieces which were very sparse by the way (4) bothering a bride and telling (not asking) her to mail extra wedding gown fabric for the bouquets (5) owning up to their mistakes (i.e, having to lose sleep and trying to find a new florist for my wedding bouquet, paying for 6 tall centerpieces but only getting 2) They pressured me in considering their ugly enormous heavy FILLER bouquet even though I had already seen photos of how OPPOSITE it was to my inspiration photos. (They post their photos on facebook the night before the wedding). On the morning of my wedding, I had to order a new $200 bouquet and $25 boutonierre from Winston Flowers, and after just sending them two inspiration photos, they created and delivered my dream posy phalaenopsis orchid bouquet within 4 hours, just in time for our wedding photos. And orchids and blooms sent us a measly $50 check with no real apology. I wish Winstons or any other florist could redo the wedding bouquets and centerpieces and wish I never worked with ONB. Good thing my wedding venue in Boston was a beautiful place so everybody could ignore the flowers. read more

When a last-minute flower SNAFU had me running around frantically, worried that I wouldn't have bouquets for my wedding, I contacted Orchids n Blooms hoping Erica and her team would be able to work some magic that hit a very limited budget. The professionalism and quick response to my emails amazed me. As an out of state bride giving a florist three weeks to put something together, the quick responses at that stage were imperative (well, at least to a frazzled bride brain) and put me at ease about choosing a company based on photos and good reviews online. I was also very impressed by the accomodation of last minute changes, while minor, still helped us remember a loved one who passed away unexpectedly about a week before our wedding. I can't say enough about how thrilled I was that despite never having a face-to-face meeting with Erica, she was able to put together exactly what I was looking for. My only requests were bright flowers and no roses, and the bouquets and corsages that were delivered were absolutely beautiful. The flowers were fresh and bright, and remained that way throughout an outdoor wedding on a 90-degree day. In fact, a week later, the bouquets are still as lovely as they were the day of the wedding (in vases at nana's, of course). Between the flexibility of hitting my budget with beautiful results and the professionalism of everyone I encountered in my short time in contact with Orchids N Blooms, I highly recommend them. read more

I could not have been more please with Erica and her team. They were fair, prompt in communication, timely, friendly, accommodating and most importantly THE FLOWERS WERE GORGEOUS. I really left the flower design up to the team at Orchids N"Blooms. I told them the vibe and color palette I wanted and they designed the most stunning bouquets for myself and my sisters. They also made center pieces for our rehearsal dinner. I asked if they could just make something green and pretty that I may be able to keep in my office for a while after. Erica and her team did a beautiful job at our wedding this past August. She really listened to the types of flora I liked and helped to create a palette that suited the colors we wanted, mostly shades of greens and whites. She paid attention to all my pinterest details and found the modern, concrete vessels I liked. She did a mock up of the centerpieces out of real flowers about a month earlier than our wedding to make sure it met our vision. Most importantly, Erica went the extra mile to make the day effortless for us. This is probably the most important quality in a wedding vendor. The day is so hectic that anything anyone can do to make it easier is a godsend. I got ready in a different location from the groom, and the church and reception sites were also different locations, so there was some extra coordination needed. She is friendly and easy to work with. Pricing is competitive, although it's still shocking how much all the wedding costs can add up! But she's worth every penny because Erica will save you a ton of stress from not having to worry about your centerpieces to making sure everything is set up on time. The only thing I didn't love was the celosia in my bouquet which was more yellow than I wanted, but that's my own fault for choosing that flora. All in all, I would definitely recommend Orchids N'Blooms. read more

Erica is really sweet, but I won't lie I was pretty disappointed with some aspects of my flowers on the day of my wedding this past summer. As far as the bridal bouquets and the sweetheart table, they were beautiful. But, I can't even tell you how disappointed I was in the centerpieces. At my "mock-up" my mother and I had expressed that we wanted a flower vessel that was flat to the table so that you could see the guests on the other side (nothing more annoying than not being able to see everyone at the table). I wanted it to appear that the flowers were cascading over the vessel in a loose and wild arrangement, which Erica seemed to completely understand. Well, the vessels that they used on the wedding day were not only tall and HUGE, but looked like pieces of cheap, thick, gold pipe that they used as a last-minute fix. I was so disappointed I almost cried, and even looking back now 2 months later, I can say that it was the thing I'm most disappointed about on my wedding day since they are in all of the photos at the reception. Before the ceremony, my mother's corsage fell apart immediately after she put it on. We had to sew super glue it back on before she headed to the church. AND, even though we confirmed several times where the boutonnieres were going to, they were still delivered to the wrong place. Even confirmed with the delivery man where he was going after dropping off my bouquets, and he STILL went to the wrong place. The groom and groomsmen had to scramble to the ceremony to put them on, even though they were supposed to be delivered to the hotel where they were getting photos taken. I'm giving 2 stars since my bouquets and the sweetheart tables were so nicely done, but I will not be using Orchinds N'Bloom's again. Will more likely use a florist for future family weddings. read more
