BEEFSTEAK!!!!! These folks are doing beefsteak right!! I…read morehave been to a few Beefsteaks in my day, and while salad might be OK, and a little ice cream at the end sweetens the pot, ya gotta bring the Beef! Fercryinoutloud, that's the name of the game, Beefsteak! A little background: Beefsteak is a communal dinner, frequently done as a fund raiser for an organization. It is quite common in southern Passaic County, NJ, and almost unknown outside the area. Teams, churches, civic clubs, and community groups run these dinners as a get together, end-of-season, or kick-off gathering. The menu is Salad, Ziti, Beefsteak, and dessert. There are a few variations, like various cold antipasti like pickles and olives, or at fancier versions a whole platter of nice Italian salumi. The focus is on the Beef itself. the beef is tenderloin, sliced thin, dredged in butter, and served on a really thin piece of Italian bread. The waiter holds a plastic cafeteria tray lined with wax paper, and covered with these little open-faced sandwiches. You grab 2 or 3 off the tray each time the waiter comes by, and the the fun begins. Some guys will just fold the thing in half and eat the meat and bread together. More will eat only the meat, and stack up the bread in front of them, like poker chips. Sometimes, everyone will pool their bread and build a tower/castle structure. Giresi's beef has been really nice quality tenderloin, I am guessing it is the Australian type, based upon the size of it and the prevailing prices. Very tender, mostly medium-rare, and the perfect amount of butter and salt. I have experienced some dry and not salted beef recently, and Giresi's was far superior. The next time you need to organize a dinner, call Giresi and you will not be disappointed!

The crew showed up on time and took care of everything. Not only were they organized, but they left everything clean. Amanda was our waitress and she was phenomenal. We are used to doing everything ourselves, but decided this year we wanted to really enjoy our company. It was strange handing it over to someone else but Amanda ran everything like a well oiled machine. The food was so fresh and our company raved about the pasta especially. Delicious! We will definitely be using them again, as will some of our guests.

We been there several times and have never been disappointed. The venue is huge and is beautifully decorated. Very impressive. Their buffet appetizer was simply very good with a very large selection including offerings brought by our table. There were at least 350-400 people there last night and the sit down dinner was also overall very good. My wife had the chicken franchise, son the beef, and had the salmon. All portions were large. The salmon was a bit dry but good. I realize that can happen when ur feeding 400+ people at the same time. Justin our waiter did a great job and was very focused on doing his best to serve us. I would recommend The Venetian to anyone looking to hold an event. I've been there repeatedly and never left disappointed.

The decor is captivating and subtle at the same time. Now the cocktail hour. Let me tell you. DO NOT eat anything. You will have everything you need and more. My 10yr old was so excited the have pizza for her. The ballroom was decorated like a Bridgerton dance. Breathtaking. Dinner was great but to be honest, I was so full I just took little bites. I took my filet home. The bite I took melted in my mouth. Now the Venetian hour. I was like a kid in a candy store. My 10yr old was skipping around so excited for all the treats. This place lives up to the hype and more. I will never turn down an event hosted here. Shout out to the entire staff. You guys were awesome.

She answered every question promptly and had great suggestions. The day of the event the catering trucks showed up early. Steve and his crew set up with unbelievable speed. Everything looked so beautiful. Everything looked so professionally done with amazing little touches like flower garnishes, and fancy gold chafing dishes. Hot foods were served hot, cold foods were served cold. They even had a proper carving station with heat lamps. It all looked so amazing and tasted even better. All staff was in uniform, and they were very cheerful and polite. They went above and beyond the entire day to help me and my entire family to make sure everything worked out beautifully. People were raving about how delicious the food was even days later. We had neighbors telling us. The smell from the food truck were making them crazy! I especially have to give a special call out to the flank steak with the chimichurri sauce. At the end of the event, they packed up quickly and quietly, and I hardly even knew they were here. They wrapped up all the leftovers beautifully and left everything neat as a pin. I can't say enough good things about these people. Please don't hesitate to use them for your next party or event. I know who I will be using in the future if I have the need for a caterer.

We were quickly given papadum and water. For an appetizer, we ordered the crispy corn. We've never had that at any other Indian restaurant. It was delicious with multiple spices and moderate heat. For mains, my wife ordered the lamb chops. The serving was four nice sized pieces perfectly cooked. I had the Kadai Chicken which was also excellent. It was a little different from other places I've been too, and in fact was better. It had a decent level of heat, which I like. The servings were large (no room for dessert) and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back!

Being a…read morefirst-timer here, I ordered my usual litmus test dishes of chicken tikka masala and saag paneer (the classics), along with goat kolhapuri, butter chicken, and accompaniments of garlic naan and mango lassi. The chicken lollipop appetizer arrived looking the part - hot, crispy, and slightly zesty - but unfortunately didn't deliver on its visual promise. The dough was too thick and the meat rather rubbery, so the execution wasn't up to par. The mains, however, were redeeming. The gravy in the chicken tikka masala was delectable, and we enjoyed this as well as the kholapuri (which we asked for "extra spicy" but was just medium spicy to me - I'm sure others would disagree lol). My child loved his butter chicken. Both dishes featured substantial chunks of chicken. The saag paneer deserves to be mentioned for having a rough-chopped texture that I prefer, looking like actual spinach and not the zealously over-puréed green smoothie so many Indian restaurants inexplicably trot out. A touch over-salted, but otherwise tasty, and with an abundance of paneer. The lassi and garlic naan were both great. Portions are generous, and it's BYOB. Should you forget to bring something inebriating, a liquor shop is conveniently located just a couple of doors down. Owner/manager Austin is so welcoming and personable, earning this place extra hospitality points. I appreciate a business operator who is attentive to customers and shows genuine interest and concern. It makes a difference.
