Endodontist. A beautiful office. The best experience I've ever had for a root canal. Highly recommended.

I found Dr. Arora after dental work from another office had gone wrong. I was in so much pain I…read morecouldn't sleep, could barely eat, and the pain was radiating from my teeth into my jaw and all the way to my ear. After a week of constant pain, I couldn't wait any longer to get help. On a Friday night, I (desperately) reached out to any dentists who listed Saturday hours. Dr. Arora responded that same night and rearranged his Saturday schedule to accommodate me. The office was otherwise closed, but he was willing to come in and see me, a brand new patient he had never even met, because I needed help. That meant a lot, and immediately told me he genuinely cares about people, not just appointments on a schedule. Dr. Arora gave careful, clear, clinical explanations of what he was seeing, what was causing my pain, and exactly what needed to be done. He made sure I understood what was going to happen, why he takes the approach he does, and what to expect afterward. I ended up needing two root canals to fix the previous dentist's filling. While no one *enjoys* a root canal, it honestly wasn't nearly as bad as I feared. It did take time - which he told me upfront - because he doesn't rush. My previous dentist had emphasized how quickly he could get me in and out, so it was actually refreshing to be treated by someone who prioritizes doing it properly. What really stood out is that while Dr. Arora's practice absolutely has modern technology, he clearly relies on skill and judgment first. It felt like being treated by someone who truly understands dentistry, not someone just following what a machine tells them to do. The previous office had all the flashy, high-tech equipment imaginable, and I still ended up needing two root canals to repair their work. The office also offers thoughtful touches like headphones, cozy blankets, and pillows, which make a bigger difference than you'd think when you're in the chair for a while. After weeks of pain and stress, I'm finally back to normal and genuinely feel taken care of. If you're anxious, in pain, or just want a dentist who combines competence with real compassion, you will be in very good hands here.

The office was clean and the staff helped with the forms without any hassle. The doctor didn't make…read moreany assumptions and asked direct but thoughtful questions. They took time to listen and were good at breaking down possible causes and options without pushing anything right away. I liked that they didn't talk over me and checked that I understood everything before we wrapped up. I felt like my concerns were taken seriously.

I am writing to share my exceptional experience with Dr. Lynne Baldassari-Cruz at San Carlos…read moreEndodontics in San Carlos, CA. Earlier today, I had dental work done by Dr. Baldassari-Cruz and was incredibly impressed with the entire visit. From the moment that I first arrived, her office staff greeted me warmly and professionally. After I settled in, they clearly outline their proposed course of action for my treatment. Once in the dental chair, Dr. Baldassari-Cruz reviewed with me my previous X-rays. Before starting any work, she thoughtfully asked if I had any other concerns. When I mentioned an additional issue, she immediately adjusted her course of action and addressed that area first. Afterwards, she proceeded to the area that she had already identified. Throughout the entire dental appointment, Dr. Baldassari-Cruz demonstrated a truly personal and caring approach. She gave me several choices of which course of treatment should be completed. This individual attention and care is something that I have rarely, if ever, encountered at other dental facilities. Outstanding! I highly recommend Dr. Lynne Baldassari-Cruz and her team for their exceptional dental services! Steve Wozniak

I came to this office early for my scheduled oral surgery, already feeling unsure and overwhelmed…read more I hadn't slept, had been experiencing panic attacks, and honestly wasn't sure I could go through with it that day. I let the front desk staff know this upfront, and initially, the response seemed understanding -- I was brought to a private room to wait and was told the doctor would come talk to me. While I was in that room -- crying and clearly distressed -- three different staff members entered the space, which apparently was also used as an access point for employees. It was uncomfortable and disorienting to be in such a vulnerable state while people just walked through without acknowledging me. (this is for Dr. Tran who works under this same office) When the doctor finally came in, the very first thing she said was, "We won't be able to take you anymore if you're going to cancel." No check-in. No "How are you feeling?" or "What's going on today?" She followed that by saying she only helps patients who are ready to help themselves and reminded me that she had blocked off three hours for the procedure. Not once did she ask why I was struggling or consider that I was in the middle of a panic attack. When I looked away from her, trying to hold it together, she demanded, "Look at me. Look me in the eyes," as if I were a misbehaving child, not a patient in distress. At that point, I knew I wasn't going to get any care -- emotionally or medically -- from her. I told her I wanted to leave. She initially told me I couldn't, which was deeply unsettling, but then let me go after I insisted. What happened next felt even more inappropriate: the doctor followed me outside and continued to engage. My ride -- who was also my support person -- was there and witnessed this interaction. The doctor told her she was dropping me as a patient. When I called out that she clearly had no mental health training, her response was, "I was in the military. I know PTSD." I'm still trying to make sense of that response -- it didn't reflect any empathy, only deflection. She ended the conversation by saying something to the effect of, "I guess I can't do anything right, then," which only came across as self-victimizing. Not once -- not at any point in this entire interaction -- did she ask why I was struggling or how I was feeling. It was one of the most invalidating and unprofessional medical interactions I've ever had. If you live with anxiety, trauma, or any mental health conditions, I would not recommend this office.
