I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I thought they were expensive also but I needed it done so I was stuck. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.

Then the technician came and said $249 per spring total $498. I was in a hurry so OK whatever. After it's all done, he said adding $99 installation fee to it, the total price + tax is $646.80. Does it sound like a scam to you!? I know the price went up but a few years ago when people quote me a similar job say $300 and that's the final price. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses. The tech also put a sticker on the wall said 24/7 Garage Door Experts. So, I really don't know which one is their real name. Just be aware!

Then he diligently lubricated every hinge and part after adjusting and balancing all hinges to ensure everything was working properly.
