The general go to parking lot if you're inputting Disneyland into your GPS and if you're following the general signs around telling you where to go to to park your car for the parks. There's a hack to get free parking later in the day, but now with the summer late entry tickets and Oogie Boogie Bash in the fall, I doubt that will be as prominent. Very organized and regulated, even when it looks like there's a daunting crowd of cars outside, the parking structure cast members are really good at direction, letting you know where to stop your car and this truly shows that Disney is a well oiled machine. Free parking with the higher levels of Magic Key pass, if not you're shelling out $40 or more depending on how big your vehicle is. There's elevators and escalators, just make sure to remember where you parked or log it onto your app. I think my only issue is that I've seen more shenanigans happen here than any other parking spot at the parks (Toy Story/Pixar Pals). I've seen drinking, smoking many forms of substances, trash everywhere, including what looks like an entire picnic and all of the trash just tossed onto the other parking spots, and most worryingly, a woman getting out of a car while it was driving while yelling at her partner and blocking us from leaving. The Baseline: For a parking structure you must provide parking, there must be a level of safety for your vehicle, and the price for the parking must be fair with the area it is located. This is a highly, regulated paid parking structure. The structure has all of the following features (as of April 2026): $40 per standard; $60 per preferred. ADA compliant spaces are available and some have EV charging. EV charging spaces are available and they use the ChargePoint App for administering. When exiting you have to hit the left exit lane if you can bypass the Ball Road stoplight. Magic Key holders get discounted or included parking. I rated it 4 stars only because Disney parking is pretty expensive, but it is a safe, monitored structure. read more

This parking structure is HUGE! There are two parking areas: Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals. The main entrance is from Ball Rd or off the 5Fwy (South) on Disneyland Dr. The Pixar Pals area also has an entrance off Magic Way, and it's usually open in the mornings (though not always). This place will test your patience during the mornings and special event days. Parking prices increase each year, and there are standard and preferred options. In late 2025, standard parking is $40, and preferred parking is $60. EV charge stations are available but limited; ask the booth attendant for availability during your stay. You can board the trams here or take the walkway to Downtown Disney on level 2 at the south end of the structure. Elevators, escalators, and stairs are available. There are three elevators on the Mickey and Friends side, and five on the other end in Pixar Pals. They can get backed up during peak times. I appreciate all the parking attendants who manage the incoming cars and how efficient they are. Sometimes, after the morning rush, the parking is wide open, and you search for a spot. Mickey and Friends is the main parking option for Disneyland so you are basically guaranteed to end up here. For the most part they are organized and traffic flow is handled pretty efficiently. After 8pm they usually let you in for free which is a nice perk. Otherwise the price has gone up to 40 dollars for non pass holders. Inspire pass holders still park for free and if you visit often it definitely makes the pass more worthwhile. Some of the parking lights do not work correctly and can show a false green or false red which makes finding a spot more frustrating than it needs to be. My car has always been safe here, but the structure could be cleaner at times. Overall it does its job and is convenient, but there are a few areas that could be improved. read more

There are two different parking lots for Disneyland. Mickey & friends and Toy Story. This is the multi level, covered structure the tram from downtown Disney takes you. If you parked at Toy Story you will need to take the busses on the opposite side of the ticket booths. Parking for Disney after dark special event was $35. Follow the arrows and look for the green lights. Isles will show the specific number of parking available in that section. Some of the green lights weren't open parking spaces so make sure to find a few options for parking before committing to turn down a row. Elevators and escalators lead you down to the security check. Bathrooms are here and tram to downtown Disney entrance. Well lit at night. We were one of the last ones to leave after 2am and it was bright and clean. I like parking at the Mickey and Friends parking structure better than the toy story lot so you can get some shade on a hot day for your ride. Always helpful staff here, and the trams are super easy to get to. Just really hate the price gouging that Disney feels entitled to do with literally everything. Just a couple years ago it was 20 bucks and now it's 35. Not all of the elevators are always working here.. Disney should really have somebody on maintenance with these things or maybe an elevator attendant to help manage the people flow. This parking structure is very efficient. It reminds me of a toll plaza, where you pull up, pay the attendant, and are guided through a pathway that leads to different parking levels. As you drive in, attendants are stationed at each section, directing you exactly where to park. If you arrive early, you'll likely see people already lined up, and once the gates open, the lot starts filling up quickly and smoothly. You'll also notice that frequent Disney visitors are already familiar with the process, they move efficiently, park quickly, and head straight to the trams. The structure includes a designated handicap area, and cones are placed to help guide you through the correct path to park. A funny observation: the arrows painted on the ground actually point in the opposite direction of the actual traffic flow, so just follow the cones and attendants rather than the ground markings. Overall, the process of parking and getting to the park entrance is fast and well-organized. The only downside is the $35 daily parking fee, which feels a bit steep, especially considering the cost of park admission. Hopefully, the price stays where it is and doesn't increase anytime soon. Other than that, this parking structure is very convenient, efficient, and close to the trams that take you to the front gates of the theme parks. I would highly recommend it. read more

A Disneyland staple for 25 years (for us Disney adults we remember a huge uncovered parking lot right???), this parking structure is the go-to spot for all visitors to the Disneyland Resort. Parking fees have increased steadily over the years ($35 for autos and $50 for preferred parking). Signage is good and when they added the green and red lights for non occupied or occupied spaces that was a plus. Generally good too because there are minimal false sensors saying that something is available when it's not. My only wish is that there are more EV stations. If you don't get there early you definitely won't get a spot to charge. And given the people are at the parks all day they likely won't unplug. read more

My favorite place to park! I love the Mickey and friend's parking structure. I don't know why, but I always go to this one. I guess I know how to navigate it more than the other one? It's $40 for parking now I believe- that's if you don't have an annual pass. I have the Inspire Key Pass which includes parking completely. I've heard that the other passes might only cover a discount on parking, or may not cover at all? That sucks if you go a lot. $40 adds up fast every time you go. The Mickey and friends is easy to access by the escalators and elevators. And they take you right down to the bag check area. And then you are on the tram to enjoy your magical day. :) read more

Nice parking garage that is not only large with 2 structures and multiple floors but the parking is also extremely efficient. The attendants tell you exactly where to park and the lights on the ceiling are there showing red (full) or green (available) if they are not. The garage has escalators that you use and they feed into a tram that drops you off at downtown Disney. The cost is reasonable for California, $35 per car. You can purchase before hand in the app or pay by card (Disney is cashless.) read more

We arrived at Mickey and Friend's Parking Lot at 8:42 am yesterday, and spent about 15 minutes in line to pay and park. Your first option for restrooms are just below the parking before going through security and to the trams. I'm not a fan of the price jump on Disney parking - it's now a whopping 30 dollars, so if you live close by, or are staying at a nearby hotel that doesn't offer transportation to the parks, I suggest Uber! When we've stayed at nearby hotels or airbnbs we've spent $16 total on ubering to and from the parks. Tip: When the parking is busy, it means the line for security and the trams to the park will be busy. To skip the jam at the trams - walk from the lot to the Downtown Disney security entry, and make your way to the parks! read more

My partner and I decided to use the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, two evenings, during our visit at Disneyland California. It was easy to get to, using Google Maps assistance. We were able to scan our annual pass with no problem, providing receipt to put in our Dashboard which allowed us full entry and re-entry into the parking structure during that day. Both times, we were instructed by several Disneyland team members on where to park. During our first visit, we ended up parking at the top level towards the entrance of the parking lot. Trams are currently not active at Disneyland, so we had to walk to the Disneyland entrance. You'll also enter security check here first. All bags will be checked. We didn't have a wait at the security check-ins. Arrival was at 1:00 P.M and 6:00 P.M, both days. It was about 4k steps from the parking garage to the entrance of the theme parks. As you stroll through the pathway, you'll hear Disney themed songs and you'll also walk past some of the stores along Downtown Disney District. It was a great walk to the Theme park. It'll be nice to ride the Trams next time we visit! read more

Between the different parking lots you have access too, I prefer Mickey & Friends. Your GPS will try to route you to Toy Story, but you'll either have a longer walk, or need to take a shuttle in. Mickey & Friends offers a tram ride or an easy walk to the parks, and they offer a combination of stairs, escalators, and elevators to help out. A tip- level 2 will give you access to the bridge to walk to downtown Disney. Since most strollers don't go on the tram, that's where others with little Disney fans will go to get to security and walk to the park. read more

Mickey and Friends has lost another star with me. It's not just the tram situation, which is zero, and the long walk. It's mostly about the lack of handicapped spaces that we desperately need. I realize most people don't have this issue, but I do. Because my husband needs a scooter to get around, we need enough space to park, have him able to exit his car door and room for the scooter hitch to fit or room to assemble the scooter. He got a new one that can fit in the trunk unassembled. The staff clearly see our handicapped license plate, but send us up the ramps where there are no handicapped spots, no one directing the parking and no spots large enough to accommodate us. Last time we went, we ended up driving around the lot for 30 minutes to find just one spot and hoped when we returned there would be room to de-assemble the scooter and get us and it back in to the car. I know Disney can do better than this. read more

The structure opens at 7 am. Right at 7 all the cars start to honk with excitement! It's very organized. You pay or show your magic key pass and then after getting a receipt, you follow the directions of the cast members. It's all very simple and depending on which level you are on- you'll be assigned a specific character (ex: monsters inc, mickey, dory) you walk to the elevators and escalators and head down to the security check point. Once through you ride a tram to the parks! If you have a stroller, you'll need to be prepared to fold it up and carry your littles onto the tram. It's a quick couple minute ride, you unload and walk to the park! Very easy process and the tram has always been clean for me! read more

The price has definitely gone up since our last Disney trip, I think in 2021 it was only $20 but this year it was $30. Beside the cost, I really appreciate the team at Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. My husband had accidentally left our car keys in the car when he ran back to change into cozier clothes and put away our newly purchased ornament! He didn't tell me until we were set to leave because he didn't want it to ruin the rest of our trip. Smart man, lol. If you're ever in this kind of trouble where your battery is dead, or you accidentally leave your keys in your car press the blue button usually at a pillar or at the escalator and someone will come up to your location and help at no additional cost. Price is $30/car. A bit steep - but it's Disneyland. My cost is covered as part of my Magic Key annual pass, but most people don't have that. Very easy parking - several lanes to choose from when entering. They raise the gates promptly at 7am. Never late. Clean. Great cast members guiding vehicles to exactly where they need to be, making it very efficient. Then take an elevator or escalator to the ground floor where you'll pass through a security checkpoint and hop on a tram to the parks. Could not be more carefree. I can't even imagine parking off the property to save a few dollars. read more

The price went up again! It's now $30 to pay for parking! I get it. My beautiful 2016 Dodge Charger hellcat was STOLEN from what is supposed to be a heavily guarded, almost prison-like premise. It took NO MORE than 2 hours after arrival for thief's to make my car WHINE all over LA. The security here stinks and are practically minions walking around with no heads. All I can say is the traffic flows well and the staff park vehicles proficiently. The only problem is there isn't enough staff in the structure and it seems unsafe since three people have already walked off the structure. Also, be sure to check the Disneyland website before going in case prices are subject to change. Tram Ride: Due to COVID-19, tram rides to and fro the theme parks are currently not available. This suck, but hey, at least, you'll get a really good cardio workout, lol! If you really want to raise the intensity level, walk over the bridge from Downtown Disney back to the parking lots, lol! Keep hydrated, wear comfortable shoes and most importantly, stretch before and after! Otherwise, you may wake up the next day with either blisters, shin splints or charley horses, lol! The parking structure here at Mickey & Friends Parking (along with Pixar Parking) is pretty organized. The Parking Assistants will direct you on where to park (whether it's Standard, Preferred or Handicapped). The parking rows move in one direction only and so, you won't have to fight with other Disney guests for a spot, yay! There are plenty of parking spots and those with electric cars, tons of Electrical Vehicle (EV) chargers! The columns are clearly labeled with various Disney characters assigned to that section. You can always take a picture of that column to remember where you parked. Security Checks: Estimated wait times: Between 20 mins to 30 mins if you're getting there right as the park opens. After 11 a.m., no more than probably 5 mins to 15 mins (we came back on Sunday after breakfast to Downtown Disney and didn't have to wait too long). Yes, your bags will be checked and there are no X-ray machines. Security will have you open up every zipper and rifle through your bag(s). Should you pack your bag(s) in a certain way and don't want it messed up inside, you can let them know and open it for them, which they don't mind. I had my small medicine case with me, and I opened it up myself and shown it to Security with no problems. After that, you go through the metal detector and then make your trek up to the Disney theme parks or to Downtown Disney. They also have various bomb sniffing dogs on-site. Restrooms and Strollers/Handicapped Scooter Rentals: They do have restrooms available as needed as well as strollers and handicapped scooters for rental. Disney has definitely got you covered! Overall, Disney has done a fantastic job with the parking spots. Yes, prices are expensive as heck, but then again, that's expected, you're paying to come into Disney.
