DeCicco & Sons opened in 2015 about 4 months after the Guitar Center closed down and moved out. This new delicatessen called DeCicco & sons became an advantageous move for both the grocery and the neighborhood. It serves the new condos that were erected and finished months earlier. Walking inside DeCicco you can quickly grasp that this store is known for its high quality, in food and service. Look at the video that shows how organized this grocery chain is. The merchandiser makes and breaks a sale. That being said this store is successful all around. People come in casual attire, work attire, corporate attire and dressed down, due to it being strategic located on the boarder of New Rochelle and Larchmont. I had the avocado and salmon sushi and shrimp tempura. I have been eating here since opening but never tried the sushi. It was really good but I felt like a dragon when I consumed the wasabi mixture. absolutely love this grocery store occasionally my Mom and I will stop in just for lunch or dinner to have a meal together because the food is that good. My Mom is not the type of person to die at a grocery store but we seriously love this place staff are always so nice. All bakery items are amazing or go to. read more

Love love love this pristinely clean market with rows of perfect produce, great organic meat, and an extensive beer selection. But the best part is the prepared foods. I go there to pick up dinner for my parents so they don't have to cook every night: chicken Marsala, chicken parm, pastas, vegetables. It's a little pricey, and the parking lot can be crowded. But overall it's a great place when you just can't face a huge supermarket. read more

We are very happy to have the Decicco's in our area. It's nice to have a market to go to where the market is so clean, everything is so organized, service is great, and the selection is very good. They have a great cheese section, they have people who can advise you on the great beer selection that they have, they have quality seafood, and quality meat the only caveat is that they are quite pricey and would be great if they were a little more consumer friendly in that area than that they are a fantastic business and we are happy to have them read more

There are a number of DeCiccos located throughout the lower Hudson Valley. I had never personally been to one before tonight but I've sampled their deli food at various gatherings throughout the years. This location in Larchmont recently opened so I decided to stop in on my way home from dinner. For the moment, it's easy to pass DeCicco's by while driving because the exterior is largely unfinished. The building used to house a Guitar Center and they're still working on converting the outside. Inside, however, is completely redone and looks stunning. If you have to compare, think of DeCicco's as having the aesthetics of Whole Foods with the product selection of Fairway. In addition to groceries, they have hot and salad bars with tables to sit and eat. Some other standouts are their bakery, cheese section, and selection of beers. I haven't tried food from their deli yet, but hopefully it's as good as the selection from their other locations. This place isn't cheap though, so it will probably remain a place I'll only go to every once in a while to pick up a few random things. Overall I was impressed with DeCiccos and am glad there's now one closer to home. read more

We were in Larchmont visiting family and they took us to this wonderful grocery store. The layout and look & feel and the store is similar to the Metropolitan Market in the Seattle area. It has more selection and considered a higher quality store than your neighborhood Trader Joe because it has a fresh deli, a bakery, a butcher and seafood department. These are not as large as the Whole Food stire but adequate. The shoppers are regulars which is a good sign. Parking is OK but could get busy since it is shared by other shops. Employees seemed friendly and all wear face masks. Check out was fast and efficient. A couple comments on their customer service or training. We saw live soft shell crabs on sale and bought three. Only after we got home that we discovered one of the crabs was dead and hidden at the bottom and it has only two claws on the body. We discarded it as a safety precaution since we didn't how long it has been dead. Next time I will be sure to check their life sign before they are packed. We saw a nice looking yellow-orange color fruit pie in the bakery display case. My wife asked and the counter person said it is an apple tart. We ordered one and the one brought out from the back was light green in color. When we said we wanted the yellow-orange one in the display case. The person got annoyed and said you asked for an apple tart. Another baker person said the yellow-orange one is a pear tart which we bought. Next time I will know who to talk to about my pastry. read more

If you've never been to Decicco's, you absolutely must go!! They have the most awesome hot food bar, the freshest meat & cold cuts. I will say, it is very pricey but it is fully worth it. By far the best steaks I've ever had! If you stop at the deli counter, the spiral pasta salad & red skin potato salad is DIVINE. If you're a tuna salad fan, theirs is by far my favorite. I don't treat this as a regular supermarket since I don't live close by and don't shop for groceries here. It is a frequent choice for lunch or dinner. I alternate between the hot buffet and the deli counter. Some of the hot items are better than others, a fact I have gleaned from a process called trial and error. Some things I don't get due to personal choice, some I don't get because at a "by the pound" price, lunch can easily get to $20. They do have some interesting things at the deli counter with Orzo with Arugula now a fan fav. Always lots of cashiers and seldom a long line. And always clean and neat. read more

This store is spotless and stocks a wide array of common and specialty items. Inventory is of higher quality and that is fairly reflected in the price. Possibly the best grocery store ever. Clean, neat, plenty of parking, and nicely organized. It's Larchmont, so the workers are remarkably pleasant and everyone is looking to help- it wouldn't last here if they didn't. Prices are higher than larger chain stores, but everything is much fresher, and skipping the tornado-like disasters in the Stop and Shops are well worth it. Awesome hot food section, food is delicious and fresh. Best of all- they have a craft beer bar upstairs overlooking the supermarket with tons of craft beers on tap with great prices on glasses and growlers. Everyone is friendly there and helpful. The assortment of cheeses is really awesome. Even if someone is busy, they make time to help you and know when another case of an item you like is coming in. To me, that's wonderful customer service. It's also clean and well organized. The only thing I have to say is that while there are things I can find there that I can't even find at Whole Foods, there are also a lot of things I can't find there that make it so I have to go to two different stores to get everything I want. read more

If you only get to have one supermarket in your town, it should be just like DeCicco & Sons. A bit pricy but this is Larchmont so it can be forgiven but the store looks good with nice architecture, wide aisles, and a dining/eating area for those who want to enjoy the many takeout choices onsite. The seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, deli, and bakery areas look great and the food is of excellent quality. The same holds true for their extensive beer selection. Everywhere are top quality goods along with some basic supermarket goods. I do live in Los Angeles but in my annual trips to New York I always shop at DeCicco's - (many times during my recent 2018 visit). This place has great service. I had a minor issue with an item I bought recently. I brought it back to the store the very next morning. The manager allowed me to exchange the item with no issues. If a great selection of beer and wine. The sushi in the store is delicious. I stopped going to my local sushi restaurant and pick up my favorite rolls from here. Enter there for the first time after picking up some medicines at the pharmacy located in the same building. I was amazed at the amound of products, the high prices did not surprise me because I live in Pelham and I visit the Deccico of the Villa, or Village. I was surprised by the abundance and variety, but I felt watched in a discriminatory way. When I left with a bag from Stop and Shop of my property, an older man who works for the supermarket at the door tried to put his head in my bag as I allowed him to, he gave me the receipt for what I was carrying, seeing his intention I showed him my receipt for the medicine that I had picked up at the pharmacy. It was on February 16 under a torrential storm, so in my stop and shop bag I carried my umbrella and my personal backpack. The man tried to block my exit. I went out but I remembered that according to the Law it is illegal for customers or visitors to check their bags in a supermarket or business, so I went in again, found a manager and opened my backpack, took out my professional journalist's camera and cunningly the older man who intimidated with a thousand bags ran away. When the alleged manager arrived, I explained and promised to talk to him. I came home and spoke to the manager of Decicco in Pelham, he was outraged and told me what to do. I did it, we called my son and I made promises, two managers appeared, a man and a woman, the latter made offers, bonuses or coupons, asked for thousands of apologies and promised to call my son the next day. She identified as Caribbean from Jamaica. Since that day February 16 we are waiting for your call. I already contacted my lawyers and Federal and State Consumer Report. LOVE this place! the minute you walk in everything is so neat and nicely organized and so appealing to the eye. I've shopped here a handful of times since they've opened and I love that their meat selection is so fresh. I wish there was a Decicco's where I live! (Queens). For now though I will keep shopping at the one in Larchmont when I go visit my parents. The staff is so friendly and nice as well as accommodating. They were out of stock on a product that I wanted and so it was being ordered from me from their distributor. Talk about great and friendly customer service!
