What a wonderful day here! There were great slides, a nice wave pool and a long lazy river. The snow theme is soo cute, lots of water on the cement so you can walk, cabana's and lots of cover. A variety of good food and not very long lines. We had a blast!

I love waterparks. I honestly never thought I would get here due to ticket pricing, but luck struck and this summer you get a free waterpark ticket on the day you check in at the hotels. Yay! I picked this one because it my hotel had a direct bus and I did not want to waste any time on my first day. We were able to change at the hotel and leave our suitcases with the bell hop and get here really quickly. Then, we were able to get a reasonable locker and store the rest of our stuff. It was very convenient. Plus, they offer free towels at the front of the park. I love the theming here. It is so adorable. We love Buttons the little snowman and all of the snow capped buildings. I love the winter and Christmas music mixed with typical park music. It is so fun here. Since we just arrived in Florida, we were starving. I liked that they had a nice restaurant at the front with some good choices and plenty of seating. We got pizza, chicken strips, and a chicken shrimp rice bowl. Everything was not overly expensive, a nice portion, and very tasty. We managed to go on a family raft, the lazy river that had ice cold water squirt at you, the wave pool, and some baby slides. We also found a good place to put our stuff on the beach near the wave pool. At this park I was able to go barefoot and I did not burn my feet. For some reason the ground was cooler at this park then Typhoon lagoon, bit sure why. Maybe they had more areas with the little sprinklers, but please put more around the park. After several hours though, storm clouds were spotted and they closed down the swim areas. We relaxed and shopped. I wish Disney would bring back package delivery to the hotels, we would buy more if it were available. Hope Disney does read the comments and takes note. Unfortunately, they never reopened the swim areas and we returned back to the hotel for the day, but it did not bother me since we did a lot and it was free. We were also a little upset they seemed to run out of food very early in the day. They did not have their signature milkshake, they ran out of donuts, and some other items. We did not end up having dessert here. I also think although we loved it here, Volcano Bay beats out the Disney waterparks in food quality, attractions, and overall vibe and theming. Plus, at Universal you can use the waterpark as part of the ticket package, where as Disney you have to purchase a very expensive ticket to even get the option. I would hope Disney might change some things to remain competitive, although including a free day here was definitely a perk. My child tells me this is the best Disney waterpark and she would like to return. I would also consider coming back.

This is a fantastic Disney waterpark with wonderful rides and attractions for families to enjoy of all ages. This particular waterpark is known to especially be good for children of younger ages. This resort Water offers free access for guests on day of check-in to Disney properties as in hotels on Disney vacation club properties. They also offer a significant and large selection of swimwear and water related gear for swim, swimming and enjoying a water day. They have great food and drink options for all day long while at the attraction. They also offer lockers and parking is conveniently located adjacent to the park. Parking is included for guests at the waterpark without an additional charge.

This was a great part of going to Disney this year. We went three times each time we went in the afternoon when it was warmest since we were there in January and it was not very crowded. The rental lockers are 10 bucks but I think it was worth it if you're going to be there just to be able to lock up here phone and wallet and other things and not get anything wet. Our favorite things were the big six person water slide and then the big drop slide is one of the tallest in North America. My kids also really enjoyed the wave pool as well as a lazy river. Lots to do here and you can either buy food and beverages from The amazing vendors or bring in your own snacks if you want healthy options. They have the same coffee options at all of the Disney parks and if you have the Disney credit card you get the same 20% off if you buy it from the coffee vendors.

Orlando's Beach - Blizzard Beach has a winter theme with snow capped mountains, a ski lift and Christmas music playing. Blizzard Beach has a wave pool but more calm compared to typhoon lagoon (Disneys other water park) There are plenty of rides that can be good for any person in your family from small to large, including there are toboggan racers that you can have competitions with your group. The largest slide requires to take the ski lift up the top and then a further hike up stairs to the highest point in the park, which has 360 views of all of Walt Disney World. Only way down is that huge slide! We came in early March which was cool during the day but not too hot.

Pros- great theming Stuff for all ages and level of thrill seeker to do Not sure if I went on a good day, but relatively low waits. Most of the rides are racing rides that take multiple people at a time. Good food options, Lotawalla lodge is the best quick service place I've been to out of all the disney parks Locker system was easy Free parking Cons- long walks up a little of stairs to get to all rides. I am in good shape and it got a little tough after a few trips up. Wave pool not as good typhoon lagoon We knocked out everything in the park by 11:30, theres not that much to do. So I guess not the greatest value if your a family using a one day ticket.

Came for the day with friends and the park was pretty much empty. It was 67 degrees out and the water was heated. Loved all the water rides and lunch was good. I enjoyed the nachos but didn't care for the garlic parmesan sauce on the wings. Parking was free and the locker fee was 10.00. Great day with plenty of seating everywhere!

Disney's beautifully pristine waterpark covered in snow from the unseasonal blizzard that hit this Florida beach. Icicles are still melting upon guests as they venture through crashing waves, rivers and downhill adventures. The forecast was lousy during our visit which made for a small crowd. Never waited more than five minutes except for the Downhill Double Dipper (the wait for tubes caused a huge delay). The weather turned out to be beautiful. My party of six enjoyed several rides and partly sunny skies. Cross Country Creek was the longest lazy river I've ever endured. Pro tip: Don't be too lazy or you'll be shocked by freezing cold waterfalls! Melt Away Bay provides a gorgeous beach esthetic. It's the enormous pool with nonstop waves and no tubes to bonk into. Made for a soothing soundtrack in addition to the reggae music and classic Christmas tunes. Teamboat Springs was ideal for my group of six because we all fit inside one raft. We also raced each other on the Toboggan Racers. Runoff Rapids offers your choice of three slides, one is completely enclosed. Blizzard Beach also offers ample seating, fresh towels, ice water, gift shops, mobile dining options, and allergy friendly snacks and drinks. Angry Orchard was available throughout the park. We ordered lunch from Lottawatta Lodge, where gluten-free burgers were available. The wait for allergy friendly was long but everything but the rock hard gluten-free bun was delish! Masks were required in all indoor spaces as Disney continues to take precautions during the pandemic. Like all Disney theme parks, cast members were awesome and helpful. We all plan on returning!

Blizzard beach is an amazing waterpark to hit while you are in the Orlando area. It is beautiful, it is Disney, and it is FUN! We purchased our tickets online and while walking in a gentleman helped us out to access our tickets. Ironically he too was from Miami (coral gables to be exact) and was very kind. We were able to enter promptly without the long lines you normally find at Disney. We went during the middle of the week so it wasn't CRAZY packed but there were a lot of people. Rides were incredibly fun and I love how everything is themed. They have a nice bar by the wave pool and food galore. I have two complaints about the park: One: some of the staff working the rides/lifeguards were a bit rude. I can tell their job is frustrating but they should be try to be a bit more polite to guests. I had one of the workers answer me rudely when one of the rides was having technical difficulties. She was manually telling people to slide down one of the slides because the go/stop light was malfunctioning. At some point when I was about to go it began to work again. I hadn't noticed so I asked her if I go or not. She rudely answered me. Apparently the light was on again and I hadn't noticed. I didn't think my question was far fetched. It was little things like this I was a bit put off by. I also feel there should be more covering by the wave pool. Florida Sun is brutal and this place is for kids. They should have something to provide more shade. I recommend getting there on time to have the whole day there. If not you will not get your money's worth.

Wow What a let down. Spent a fortune on a polar patio and it really sucks. Raining straight down which I get happens in Florida a lot. This crappy patio offers almost no shelter from rain. Good thing there are only 2 of us as 85% of the patio is exposed to rain as we huddle under a shitty little umbrella. Seaworld and Universal have it right with their in park specialty's. I'm not blaming Disney for the rain but we should at least be dry in our polar patio for what we paid. Not much shelter from the sun either. Waste of almost $400. Just adding the locker. It's not worth calling a locker. You can put a couple wallets and your keys in it. That's all. Pic included on that also.

I don't know why, but it was always a thing to want to do in Florida because it's ridiculously hot in the summer. So naturally... a blizzard themed water park. It's cute. The summit plummit is one of the highest tubeless water slides I've ever been on... and be prepared for the worst frontal wedgie you've ever had in your life. I've been here several times over the years.

Just come prepared with all of your stuff... It says it's closed right now and I don't know how long for and or why it's closed when it's the beginning of summer. Maybe it's opening soon who knows.

    Time to slide!!

I think I've been spoiled with the other water parks in the Orlando area. This one just felt outdated and the only things that made it fun were its multiple tall slides and ski lift ride up to them, but after a few times it got boring pretty quickly. I think I would recommend this park for a family wanting a 'less crowded' water park or if you really, really enjoy tall slides. The slides can be pretty intimidating at first and you get a good thrill from them. I ended up going during a light storm so it was pretty not crowded and I was able to go on the slides multiple times pretty quickly. Other than that, I'd recommend Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or other water park instead.

Typhoon Lagoon is shipwrecked tropical island themed with the biggest wave pool in the country. The waves reach 6 feet high and are intense enough to slide a bikini down (so I've heard). There are slides for 2+ so you can adventure together. Lazy River is pretty spacious and has floaty chairs -game changer. Not sure how I can go back to a standard tube after that. Loungers, chairs and picnic tables were available first come first serve. The reserved areas were booked up but we found the perfect location for all five of us. Sun and shade with the nearest bartender just a few steps away. The Mai Thai and Rum Runner were absolutely delish. Was happy to see hard cider available. Disney's magic is keeping the park clean and beautifully landscaped all day long. The water was always that perfect cool and refreshing temp, and crystal clear. You can definitely tell those who enjoy their job and those that need to find a new line of work, because customer service and client interaction is not their forte. LOL! Food: we bought all day dinning and drinks, which is definitely the right way to go. The drinks alone pay for themselves. Unlike other big parks, everything on their menus seems to be available on the all day dinning versus only certain choices... so that is great!! You get one entre choice (chicken tenders, burger, ribs, tacos, fish sandwich, pizza, etc), one side (fries, salad, fruit, mac and cheese, coleslaw, etc) and 1 dessert (cupcake, cookie, fruit, even a pickle, which I appreciated as I didn't want dessert) every 90 minutes. So no one went hungry. We even bring some ziplock bags so they can nibble on their pizza later. Most of the food was good, and some was really good. From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was really well done. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. They have a buffet for breakfast and lunch with a good variety of options, so I feel like most people could find something they like. There are also smaller stands with snacks, pizza, and ICEE stations. Now let's talk about the drinks. There is just something about a frozen daiquiri when you're by the water. Highly recommend getting the drink package and trying a few... or all of them if you can handle it. I loved how many different areas there were to explore. Seeing dolphins swimming so close to the beach was actually kind of magical. They also have a monkey island which I was really excited about. It was closed when we got there, but I could still see them from a distance and I loved that. The aviary was really cool too. Tons of birds, but also tons of people. They recommend going first thing when the birds are most active, which we did, but so did everyone else. We got there about 45 minutes after opening and the birds already seemed a little over it. Honestly, I don't blame them. The Grand Reef was such a cool experience. I didn't really know what to expect, and even though it's man made, it still feels really immersive. Some of those rays are huge and have zero fear. They will swim right into you. My guy had never experienced anything like that and he loved it. I also liked that there were shallow areas and deeper sections if you wanted more of a snorkeling feel. The only downside for us was the Wind Away River. There are spots that get deep really fast, and that day they were apparently out of floaties because people were hoarding them and claiming areas. Staff even acknowledged it, which was frustrating because nothing was being done about it. It made parts of the river harder to enjoy than they should have been. Other than that, everything else was great and it made for such a fun day. Also the bar swings were a highlight. Loved those.

The room smelled awful, the window didn't open, and even after switching rooms the smell remained. The hotel is old, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Our check-in experience at this hotel was a complete fiasco. We arrived in the evening only to discover that our reservation had been cancelled because we were two hours late. This happened despite the fact that we had called and sent messages in advance to confirm our arrival and specifically asked them not to cancel the booking. Nevertheless, the reservation was cancelled, and we were forced to make a new one after already waiting in line. At the front desk, the staff insisted it was our fault for not notifying them, even though we had clearly done so. Unfortunately, the real disappointment began when we entered the room. The smell was extremely unpleasant, and since the window did not open, it was impossible to ventilate the space. We requested a different room, and while the second room was slightly better, it still had an unpleasant odor. The pool area was also difficult to tolerate due to a very strong chlorine smell. Overall, the hotel feels very outdated and poorly maintained, making it hard to relax. Even the bar was closed throughout our stay. Overall, a very disappointing experience

Each suite had a room with two double beds and private bathroom. Plus a room with a king bed and a master bathroom that included tub with jets, shower, private bathroom and walk in closet. Additionally, the suites had large living room and kitchen plus a closet with a washer and dryer. They also had a screened in balcony, large enough for 2-3 ppl to sit comfortably. Staff/service: The staff at both check in, and at the markets and restaurant were very kind and helpful. Water park and pools: Clean, staffed and fun. There's a lazy river, water slides and many pools. Overall experience was good with no complaints.

This is my second time staying at the Grove resort in Orlando. We had stayed here previously three…read moreyears ago, which prompted us to book the resort again. A lot has changed the second time around. The pros: 1. Close to Orlando theme parks 2. Decent waterpark The cons: 1. Outdated and dirty property (garbage smell and dirty hallways, and elevators) 2. Dirty rooms and broken furniture 3. Poorly equipped rooms- we only had 2 towels and 2 facecloths for a family of 4 that were in the master bath. Second bathroom did not have towels or facecloths (we had to call the front desk for items) 4. The Kitchen was not fully stocked (no pans for oven, no sharp knives for cutting food, and no cutting board) 5. No housekeeping (we were there for 7 nights and not once did they show up). Did not have broom in the room or cleaning supplies. I had to empty all garbages in room the full stay and place bag in hallway. Garbage was only picked up once a day in hallway. There were always garbage bags in the hallway. 6. You are provided with a "starter kit" of supplies (one sponge for dish washing, one small liquid dishwashing soap, one dishwasher pack, one Tide for washing machine. One paper towel, one pack of toilet paper for each bathroom and 1 box of Kleenex for each bathroom). Once supply is depleted, you are responsible for purchasing additional items. 7. The pool area is overcrowded. If you do not get in line at 9:30 AM (pool area opens at 10 AM) you will not get a seat. I found people go to the pool area early (9:30 AM) drop off their stuff for the day and leave area. That means if you don't get there early to scoff up a spot yourself you are left standing. However, you have the option on spending extra money to 2 rent chairs $$ ($69) or a Cabana $$$ ($250) for the day. I had mentioned this to management and they said there is no way of monitoring this. That if I wanted a guarantee area that I would need to reserve/rent chairs or a cabana. 8. Expensive resort fees, daily. They charge resort fees on the day of arrival and departure. 9. Issue encountered with a booked transportation reservation (through resorts concierge) back to resort (from Epcot). Was left in an extremely dangerous situation by the resorts contracted bus driver. Me and my two kids were left stranded at Epcot. He "did not have the time" to take me and my kids back to the Grove (again, this transportation was pre-booked). He asked us to get off the bus at Epcot. He had to go to another resort (me and my two children were the only guests returning to the Grove). Bus driver said he ordered and paid for an Uber for me and my kids to go back to the Grove (all lies, as he did not order us alternate transportation). Tried calling the resort at 10 PM phone rang, selected front desk and was on hold for over 15 minutes. Was not able to get in touch with front desk at resort (no answer), Finally hung up due to frustration. I had to pay out of pocket for an Uber back to the resort.
