Before I decided to write this review I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke. So I waited a few more visits in before I wrote it. Look, I didn't want to be responsible for an unfriendly kitty visit. Nope! You will not blame for that. The place is very clean and somewhat sterile when you walk in. The receptionists are friendly for the most part. There is one with RBF and she always looks like that. So just ignore her. The person I see is Alex. Let me tell you. Alex is so quick with the rip. You see what I just did there. LOL! Anyway, Alex is always super gentle. I mean she is as gentle as it gets. Hell, she's ripping hair off your pretty kitty. I would venture to say Alex is right up there with my OB/GYN. Alex makes you fill comfortable and at ease with process. If you're new she talks you through the process. If you're an OG like me. Hell, we're catching up on life. All while warm wax is being placed upon my nether regions. So you may ask will it hurt? Hell yeah. Will tears come to my eyes? Beauty is pain. Deal with it. Will my kitty thank me? Absolutely. I showed them my Inspo pic with glitter around the edges, several staff said they could do it, as it's a simple design. The color on my fingers does not match my toes like I asked, and the lady was unable to do the design, a simple glitter outline around the nail. My nails are thick, clumpy and lumpy. I have done my own dip and gel X at home with better results. The nails are uneven and spotty. My little one asked for hearts and bows on her nails, they looked awful! I could have done a better job myself. They did not look professionally done, even the lady behind the counter during checkout asked what the design was supposed to be because they looked that bad. She even asked me why the nail tech was unable to outline my nails with glitter, saying that it's simple to do and she wasn't sure why it wasn't done. None quite as bad as today, however I've noticed the poor attention to detail and lack of care in the services they provide. My pedicure today lasted 26 minutes and was extremely rushed. The file (rasp) she attempted to use on my calluses didn't have a handle, and she briefly rubbed it over each foot rather than actually removing any of my callus build up, leaving my feet rough. She painted over my cuticles and cut several of my toes with the dremel she used. The reasons I kept coming back is that this is one of the cleaner salons I've found near me, and they do a good job with massages. However, I don't think it's worth the cost. I recommend avoiding if you're looking for consistent quality services!
