I had a cup of the gumbo and a beer for starters. The gumbo was perfectly seasoned and delicious and the beer was ice cold. After that, I ordered the red beans and rice, but by the time I finished the gumbo and my beer, I was pretty full. I did try the red beans and rice and it was very good. Everything was hot and fresh, but there was very little seasoning or flavor. There was also an issue with the shrimp po' boy. It was specifically requested without sauce, with the sauce on the side, but it was still prepared with sauce. Instead of simply remaking the sandwich correctly, we were asked if it was okay as is, which made it feel like we were being encouraged not to have it remade despite the mistake.
