    $18 for glorified carnival food?

[[HIGHLIGHT]]While the newer expansion of the bar is impressive, the food we had there last night was awful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wings were way over done and dry. The burger wasn't any better. I feel like I was ripped off with overpriced amusement park food.

New bartender doing a good job for his first night, way to go Matt!

No food this night but the service was great! Friendly home town feel. Great looking bar and the patio is a great hangout.

    Yummy Burger and Fries!

A large step above average Bar Food. Delicious cracker crust pizzas with a good selection of available topping. Great bar burgers and Fish Tacos! My personal favorite is the shrimp/shrimp cocktail. Firm, white and fresh (for Detroit) shrimp that rivals any fancy restaurant! Fish and chips are above average with hand dipped cod tenderloins. Available to get Mac and Cheese instead of fries if desired. Mick (Roger) the owner is a little scruffy and rough around the edges (lol) but a very friendly guy and it's obvious that he appreciates your patronage. .

Lots of outdoor seating and not much indoor. We were from out of town and kinda wandered in. Took a while to get anyones attention to seat us. Decided to sit outside. Our waitress was very nice. The food was alright. They serve fish only on Fridays so I got the ham and cheese melt which was a bit salty and greasy.

When we got here it was small but it was very cozy place, not very loud. The waitress instantly took our drink order and when we were ready she was available for our food order. When u order a beer here they don't mess around and u get it in a big mug. I ordered Fish tacos, clam of chowder, and hush puppies. Everything was really amazing I'm impressed because they have a small kitchen but this place really rocks the food. I will come here on Fridays for fish tacos

This rock 'n roll themed diner is a downriver favorite for breakfast. The food is consistently…read moregood, even if the same order isn't always exactly the same. For example, I get the "Hearty" breakfast most of the time and it comes with eggs, meat, pancakes, potatoes and toast, and it really highlights what is this place's strength. Eggs: I get mine scrambled and have a nice selection of hot sauce to choose from. Meat: I appreciate that they offer turkey sausage since I don't eat beef or pork, but my wife loves their bacon if that's your thing. Pancakes: quality varies the most here as they are sometimes a little pale (but still good) but more often the idyllic golden one expects when ordering. Potatoes: lots of variety here, too, as my home fries come in different sized cuts with seasoning ranging from none to "no need for salt or pepper?" Toast: Again, wide variety of choices, I go with sourdough most often If this sounds like a lot of food, there are lots of other options that make it appealing to smaller appetites. But what I like about the "Hearty" is all the choices and the variation in style (probably depends on who's staffing the griddle) allows me to order the same meal and still feel like I'm getting some variety. Having said that, keep an eye out for the specials. They sometimes are tempting enough to get me to stray from usual. In addition to good food, the service is always friendly, and we've been back enough times to where I think every server recognizes us. Like I said, it's a favorite.

There were 2 tables that were a little louder than usual, but even when they left, it was still too noisy. Appears to be no sound deadening in the ceiling. This makes us reluctant to dine here again. When you can't hear the person sitting 2-3' away from you, at the same table, it is NOT a good thing.

The interior decor is nice, it obviously car themed hence the name. They have 2 bars and plenty of tables to accommodate large parties. I opted for a turkey burger with green beans to keep things healthy. I enjoyed both. The waitress mentioned the green beans are crunchy but that's the way I like them. I suppose if you like yours a bit more cooked, then ask to have them sautéed longer but I liked them how they were. I heard so many good things about this place so I was happy to finally stop by. I can't wait to come back. They also have a location in Utica now.

Today's food is perfect. We had a burger bowl that was - to me - like a deconstructed burger; another person had the fish and chips that were good and served crisp and hot; and another had the meatloaf and it was served with brown gravy and two sides. Two points that knocked down the score bar service was tooooo slow. I was going to have a second beer and by the time waitress came to apologize about long delay and frustration with bar service, I told her to cancel it. Second, the waitress had to be reminded to bring drink refills after we asked for them. She apologized and got them right away. But, it added to our frustration of delays. No matter my two points, I do recommend this restaurant. Usually, service is better and the burgers are GREAT!

This is a German restaurant in name only. Service was sub-par. My party sat for 10-15 minutes before water was offered. Ordered appetizers and our dinners. Dinners came first followed five minutes later by appetizers. My order of Chicken paprikash was lukewarm and I could find very little chicken in it. I was so hungry I regrettably ate it that way. Waitress never checked back if everything was ok or if we wanted another round of drinks. I generously give two stars because the Weihenstephaner Dunkel on draft is a rare find and the German egg rolls are outstanding. Other than that, our visit was sehr enttäuschend (disappointing)

There are so few German restaurants (although they have other options). It's a cute place with long tables that can be for bigger groups or communal dining. The servers were great and checked in on us regularly, and helped us figure out the different options and specials. The spaetzle bowls are pretty big and you can either share or bring some home. The schnitzel was good, but not big enough to share. The paprikash bowl was also tasty. The German potato salad was a real standout, give it a try. Prices were reasonable.

We ordered an appetizer first which was Mac & Cheese bites, they were just okay, the deep fried part was really good but the Mac and cheese on the inside didn't really have any flavoring, a little disappointed. Then for the main course I had a Cajun Burger (rare) with Cajun Fries. When the burger got to my table it was MASSIVE, I wasn't expecting such a huge burger, the meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor, everything a rare burger should be, it was really delicious, these cooks know how to make a great burger. This is the HOLY GRAIL of craft beers. The experience here was really good everything was phenomenal from the waitresses to the burger with the exception of the Mac n Cheese bites.
