I have always seen this place and have been wanting to try it, its always packed on the weekends. Well we decided to go here and finally try it out, the place is a small little bar and grill but it is very nice on the inside. The ambience is very cool, there was a couple of older gentlemen cracking jokes that just had me laughing my ass off. We ordered drinks first and FINALLY Yuengling is out in Michigan. We ordered an appetizer first which was Mac & Cheese bites, they were just okay, the deep fried part was really good but the Mac and cheese on the inside didn't really have any flavoring, a little disappointed. Then for the main course I had a Cajun Burger (rare) with Cajun Fries. When the burger got to my table it was MASSIVE, I wasn't expecting such a huge burger, the meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor,everything a rare burger should be, it was really delicious, these cooks know how to make a great burger. So then I finish my drink and I look back at the bar at the tap list and low and behold they had CBS, it is very difficult to find a bar that has CBS on draft and I was shocked, I had to get it. This is the HOLY GRAIL of craft beers. The experience here was really good everything was phenomenal from the waitresses to the burger with the exception of the Mac n Cheese bites. Nothing Irish about this one. Nothing Irish in menu. Guinness pours and not proper pours. Tried the poutine and it was so salty this salt lover could not eat it. Seems like a nice locals pub just not an Irish one. read more

Talk about going back in time this place is nostalgic. Great place to have fun and watch some football. It offers 7 tvs so that you won't miss any play. No matter where or how you sit you will not miss the big plays here. Try the drink call the Malibu refreshing and tasty good touch of rum. The staff are both serving and bartending , but they on top their game. It's what makes this place the next best thing to actually being at Ford street. The only thing that I did not like are those annoying fans at the end of bar dancing as the game was going on. It's not the bars fault sometimes some fans think they own the place and have no consideration for the rest of us. The bar staff would cut off the music when the game came back on. Perfect ! When we arrived here they were very busy I think it was some type of event going on during the summer. But the service was as good as I guess it could be when the place is packed. The drinks were not that great to me I green tea as a drink and to me I make it is the easier drink to make. But I guess they did the best they could. Okay moving on to food the food was okay the pickles definitely saved my sandwich it was kind of dry and didn't have a lot of seasoning on the burger. The ambiance is very small bar like with open patio doors to the outside. I would probably come here again with friends but I wouldn't come here just because. Or could possibly try another day that is slower. read more

Went here on Veterans Day. It didn't look open so we peered into the window. When we realized they were open we promptly got teased by a few tables telling us it was safe to come in. We decided to sit outside- pandemic and all ya know. The waitress was friendly and the food is good pub food. The reason I placed th rating a bit lower is when I went inside to use the restroom wearing my mask of course - I noticed some of staff wasn't wearing masks correctly. They weren't that busy and that might be reason why. Maybe I'm just being a bit picky. I would definitely go again and have another sandwich- the roast beef dip was delicious. read more

First off, I came in during the Allen Park Street Fair, so it was extremely crowded, people on top of each other and service was slow. Stood at the bar, no seats avail, just had drinks no food. Not very friendly staff maybe because of the street fair and how busy it was. The bathroom is small, a line to get in and you do your business behind curtains. Not a fan. Will come back again, maybe when it is less crowded? This place could not handle crowds. read more

I love this place, great prices on alcohol and it's not all dark and dungy like a lot of bars. Great local place to go have drinks and food, as an Allen Park resident it's close and the wait staff is very nice as well. Will come back often, this was the first time I've been here. read more

Definitely my friends and I favorite bar downriver, especially late night on the weekends. It is always packed on weekends so service takes a bit longer but drinks are always strong, DJ was awesome and everyone has a good time. Great vibes here!! read more

We decided to check this place out for dinner and drinks last night. Nice, simple, friendly place. The bartender was so friendly and helpful. Good selection of drinks. But we would probably never eat there again. I ordered the impossible burger - it was $12 and didn't come with fries or anything. That seems way overpriced. It was nothing special. My guy ordered the 1/2 lb shrimp basket. It was supposed to come with coleslaw and cocktail sauce. When he pointed this out, the bartender got him his coleslaw but told him they didn't have cocktail sauce. You can't eat shrimp without cocktail sauce! (Life hack! We asked for horseradish and mixed it with ketchup to make something resembling cocktail sauce.) The food/menu just seems kind of like an afterthought. read more

Stopped by today. 2nd time I've been there. Place is clean and well kept. 17 beers on tap with a nice selection of craft brews. I had the Saugatuck Brewing Singapore IPA. A great tasting IPA. The burgers are hand formed and cooked to order. I had the Patty Melt. Best patty melt that I have ever had! Cooked medium rare as ordered on grilled (real) rye bread with caraway seeds. I also had a bowl of cheeseburger soup. Killer. All the soups are homemade. Check this place out. Live music on Saturday night. The owner is a charmer. read more
