    Huge Angus poutine
    Christine U.

We were looking for a place to grab a beer and a poutine near the mountain and this hit the spot. A nice beer selection and good food in a casual space that was very festive for Christmas. I had the duck brie pear sandwich and it was great although quite sweet. My husband got the Angus poutine which was HUGE. Was not expecting a poutine that large. Tons of squeaky curds and a great value. We also had the popcurds (fried cheese curds) for the first time which were pretty much like mini mozzarella sticks. They give you a lot though! All in all a nice stop with Better and better value food than on the mountain. Would stop again!

One of the best burgers I have tried in the province of Quebec, that's how good it is.

Five stars without thinking about it. They craft their own beer, dear God their IPA is the best. Excellent after ski spot, cool place, excellent service and burgers are a must, the meat is freshly grinded at the moment, so good, the side salad and fries are also good. Really, these burgers are amazing, I have tried like five of them already after skying, there is the Italian one with pepperoni inside, OMG that was delicious. I'm eager for the winter to come back so I can go ski and chill after with a nice beer and burger.

While visiting, this place came highly recommended by locals. They brew their beer there on site. EXCELLENT BREWS!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. Sit at the bar or a table and enjoy! I had the Red Ale, Lagouda Burger with Putine. Excellent.

We stopped here after spending the day at the chocolate festival. The selection of micro brews was very good, the service was excellent and the food was good for pub food. Hamburgers, fries, etc. It hit the spot and an a nicely layer out location. I would go back if I was out with the guys.

    Great beer samplers

So good. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great food for a great price. Not to mention their variety of beers they have on tap, my favourite the raspberry-honey beer. Would definitely go back and recommend.

    Large Greek salad

Large sizes. All 8 of us had excellent meals. Nice large covered deck with heaters. Great family spot or friends hanging out. I could have had the pulled pork skins as a meal. Mm good. We shared the large Greek salad among 4 adults and still had extra.

Service was good , I had the Canadian burger but I don't really liked the meat , it seemed very processed. I'd try something else next time.

Beer was average, duck poutine was great, and the salad was surprisingly fresh and tasty.

While the food was delicious, the overall experience fell just slightly short of what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Service was the main area that didn't quite meet expectations. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before receiving menus and had to ask for them. Throughout the meal, interactions felt a bit rushed - several staff members who stopped by the table were somewhat brief, and on a few occasions, items like bread or water were dropped off while we tried to ask questions, but the busser had already walked away. That said, the restaurant was quite busy during lunch, so it's possible the pace and attentiveness were impacted by that. As for the food, we ordered the albacore tuna appetizer along with the strip loin, butcher's cut, and duck for our mains. Everything was well-prepared, though the duck portion was noticeably small. Desserts were a highlight - especially the pavlova with maracuya, which was excellent. Our server Laura was professional, though not very engaging until the very end of the meal when we were settling the bill. I would still return, as the food is strong, but I have to say that Bar George left a more lasting impression on us in terms of both food and service.

We stayed in Room #2 which had king sized beds on the main level and in the loft. The beds were very comfortable. The large bathroom had heated floors and a very nice shower. There were plenty of towels and supplies-soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There is a mini fridge in the room. Also, tea bags and French Press coffee. We enjoyed sampling the beer before ordering a full pour. I particular liked La Bicknell, an IPL. Of course, Jane did a flight of beers. And, the cocktails were delicious, as well. After exploring the town, we decided to eat in their pub. There was live music that night, which was delightful. We shared Forestry Poutine-if you go to Canada & don't get poutine, did you really go? This was probably the best poutine I ever had. And, the portion size was so generous that we didn't need to order anything else. The room came with breakfast. So very good! I had the Club Wrap that was top notch. Jane had The Brewer's Little Hunger. The meals came with home fries & Jane got toast & baked beans with hers. The coffee was very good. We were very impressed with Auberge Sutton Brouerie and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended without hesitation.
