Visiting Dallas from NYC i stopped by this shop after a yoga class and while waiting for the (never on schedule) bus nearby. The store clerks and owner were amazing! Friendly, accomodating, helpful, sweet, great conversationalists and they let me try every single flavor of the micro chips and happy to do so! They enjoyed my reactions and comments on all the flavors. I walked away with more than expected from my purchases to the free ice cream and complementary bag of original chocolate chips (don't forget to check in on Yelp for this prize) There are Soooo Many flavors to choose from making it hard to choose a favorite and just walk out with one. I went with the cheaper pillow cases so i could take a couple flavors home. The packaging is very appealing and carefully detailed. They offered decorative stickers. The chips were a bit on the pricy side but i would say well worth it for the experience, great service, packaging, flavor, quality and freebies! A must try if you're in Dallas! read more

I came to JK Chocolate after being referred by multiple executives from my company. They had experienced JK Chocolate micro cookies at an event and fell in love. I normally do not like crunchy cookies (which is what I expected from such a tiny cookie) but these really surprised me. They are crunchy on the outside but somehow soft in the middle?! I have no clue how they do it! I stopped in to make a gift box for a candidate we are trying to "woo" over to our company and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me so many samples I did not need lunch and could not finish them all! They even had a mini hot fudge sundae they made me with the micro cookies on top. Talk about hospitality!!! I was blown away by the selection and service. They not only have your typical cookies but they have some different combination ones, a gluten free and one that kind of tastes like a spicy cheese it. Plus they have dips and sauces too! It was all super good! We did (3) boxes of 4 items for the gift and the total was around $180 I believe with taxes and such. Definitely a tad bit higher end gift (at least for my budget) but so worth it. With a check-in on Yelp! You get a free small sleeve of the cookies! So definitely check in. OMG, OMG, OMG The most clever idea on the planet, make each chocolate chip taste like a a cookie. So it's like having a chocolate chips covered in cookie dough, oh my god they are so good. They also gave me a sample of their hot fudge sundae which has their own homemade hot fudge sauce which is amazing with the cookies with Häagen-Dazs ice cream oh my god so good. What's so cool about this if you usually give cookies as a gift this is one of the most unique gifts out there at this time and something really different and something that taste so amazing. I bought a small bag of cookies and the chocolate sauce and it was $23, so it's not cheap but the neighborhood they are in and you can only imagine what they pay for rent. This is such a cute little chocolatier/gift store in Dallas! I know them best for making the mini chocolate chip cookies! My fiancé and I went to check the store out because we love their cookies we get at Malibu Poke on Oak Lawn. I forgot the name of the lady who was in the shop but she was really nice and sweet! She told us about how they make them in house and had nice things to say about the owners. She literally gave us a taste test of every single kind of cookie they had their and brought us mini Sundaes! Love the fact you can buy them online and have catering services for events! We bought a little bag of cookies for ourselves and for my mom. Next time we need to send a nice gift to someone then we will certainly order from here. read more

Someone dropped these off at our office as a gift a few weeks ago and I was really intrigued. I've never seen anything like it before. We were given snickerdoodle, midnight chocolate, and white chocolate chip crunch. I didn't get to try the white chocolate (dang it!) but I did get to sample the other two. While the snickerdoodle was dry, the midnight chocolate was really delicious. It had a rich, creamy chocolate flavor. The downside? It would be WAY too easy to eat a bunch of these without realizing it. You eat one little innocent morsel at a time while you're working and before you know it, half the damn jar is gone. A lot of risk and a lot of reward... a tight spot for sure. I give JK a solid 3.5 and rounded up since I've only tried two flavors and I've only heard great things about them. Will definitely give them another shot and update my review. These would make great little Christmas gifts for any of your friends with a sweet tooth. read more

When I first opened them I was delighted by The small size. This is great because I can eat 3 or 4 and not go over my calorie budget. Heck, I can probably have more after dinner and still be alright! I stumbled upon JK Chocolate's MICROCHIP cookies in an article, realized they were based in Dallas, and the rest is history!
