Cute place downtown Gastonia. Solid food and for what it is 5 stars! My server was attentive and very nice. The food was also good, and made with quality in mind. Not too pricey and a place I'll be going again.

all right, so I'm a chicken wing fiend.... don't judge me. I got the sweet and savory dry rub 6 piece and was impressed with how meaty they really were. Makes me feel like some other places are robbing me on size after sinking my jaws into these birds!!!!! Also impressed with how they were not over cooked, or under cooked, but still crispy.

Mic's Kitchen is a great place to eat or hang out. The staff were awesome & the food was so good especially the honey glazed cornbread bites! I will be going back.

I found Mic's a few weeks ago. The food was a lot better than expected and the collard greens were probably the best I've had in a while. The space is a bit tight but other than that, I definitely recommend. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the food was fresh and hot. Definitely recommend

Had a great lunch here. The portions were large and the food was tasty. The owner checked on us and was super sweet.

As mentioned elsewhere, WCK occupies a restored historic movie house downtown. The incorporation of the structure's history and memorabilia is exceptional. A black and white classic movie play on the screen behind the kitchen; movie soundtrack tunes play in the background. They didn't miss a trick! Well, one or two, perhaps: placing a bowl of popcorn on the table when customers are seated would be clever and on-brand, as would dressing the wait staff in vintage usher uniforms. But I quibble. Our waitress, Kylie, was welcoming and knowledgeable. Her gushing recommendation of the zucchini fries was spot-on. The fried green tomato BLT was both excellent and a subtle nod to a well-known movie. Salads and OBX crabcake sandwich did not disappoint. All in all, two thumbs up!

It was interesting because you can also see/hear the cooks in the kitchen calling out orders. You also get a feel for the openness of the theater and what it must have been like back in the early days. Donna had the Chilean Sea Bass & I had the Salmon, we had the duck appetizers and a side of collards. We brought out own bottle of wine and had great service from Dalton. It was a memorable occasion and as always a five star experience.

The pulled pork was decent, but mostly made me miss Lupita's pork by the pound in Charlotte (which continues to ruin other pulled pork for me). The coleslaw needed to be chopped finer but the overall flavor was okay. The mac & cheese had strong church-potluck energy (not an insult, I've had some excellent church potluck mac & cheese) but that's about where I'd place it. Then came my biggest disappointment... No hushpuppies. They give you a roll instead which was perfectly fine, It did nothing wrong, but when I'm eating NC BBQ, I want hushpuppies. A dinner roll is not an acceptable emotional substitute. Overall, Ray Nathan's was a perfectly decent lunch stop if you're already in the area. I just didn't find anything that would make me drive out of my way for it. Good BBQ. Needs finer slaw. Needs hushpuppies. Lupita's haunts every pulled pork review I write.

I have Celiac Disease so I have to be very careful where I eat. I found Clover Harvest, read several reviews and called to talk to them to be sure I could eat there. I am so glad we decided to have dinner there! The inside is very cozy with music playing and friendly staff. They were very knowledgeable about gluten free and I felt confident in them. While we waited on our food my husband ordered a Smoky old fashioned and I had a Chardonnay. When our food arrived we were so impressed! I ordered a bone in pork chop with roasted Brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes. The pork chops were topped with mustard onions. It was the best pork chop I have ever eaten! My husband ordered a burger with fingerling potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. For desert my husband had banana pudding and I had a gluten free fudge truffle pie. AMAZING!!! We are here for a few more days and plan to have another meal there before we leave. The prices were good for the amount of food served. The restaurant is very clean and is a lot larger than it appears from the outside. They also have outdoor seating and if you're in the mood for Corn hole they have a game set up for you. Highly recommend this restaurant!
