We just moved to the area and wanted to support some local businesses. Pete's Grill was awesome. I love the retro charm of the 90s booths and ordering counter. The ladies taking orders were nice and helpful. I got the grilled chicken pita which was delicious and had a good amount of protein. The fries were good too but not salted enough. Came in during lunch time rush on a Friday. Line was to the door. But only took me 10 minutes to reach the counter and my food was ready in 10 minutes. I ordered the chicken gyro and French fries to go. It was hot fresh and good. I will try something else different. Not something I would repeatedly get. The chicken was just ok. The place is small inside with tables packed in for dine in but not good for groups. 4 people to a take max. The ladies were all nice who took my order and gave me my order with sweet tea. I'm coming back to try more things in the menu. If you eat here regularly just call your order IN. read more

They would get a 4 or a 5 if they could get the order right. I have been wanting to try Pete's for some time now and have been a couple of times. Reading the reviews, their cheeseburger get rave reviews. Normally I would order a Cheeseburger normally a double with Fries. Wanted to mix it up a bit so instead of Fries, I ordered the Onion Rings. This along with a Double Cheeseburger. What I got was a humongous Double Cheeseburger with French Fries as opposed to the Onion Rings I had ordered. The burger was excellent but no way I could eat it at one time. The Fries were excellent but again I ordered Onion Rings. Did not challenge it at the time because I did not want to wait for them to remake the order. The next time I ordered a regular Cheeseburger which turned out to be the perfect size. When asked about the Onion Rings, I was informed they were out so back to my fallback French Fries. Everything was excellent but my only complaint was that it was not what I ordered. You enter the restaurant and proceed to the counter to order and when you order and pay, they give you a tent to put on your table along with a cup for your beverage. Even then, you are expected to pick up your own order when called. I'm having mobility issues and when my order came up, they were kind enough to bring it to my table Not large by any stretch of the imagination but very clean and well maintained. I will be back and maybe I can finally get my order of Onion Rings. Food is excellent. read more

The sandwiches were ok at best. The sweet tea is free but they dropped a whole bag of sugar in it. I think the 4- and 5-star reviews were made up. Don't pay any attention to the prices online they are way lower than what you pay...... on purpose. Not brave enough to try anything else. read more

This is the spot in Stanley to get your grub! The food portions are plentiful and the family who run the place are great. Service is always quick and helpful. My 2nd time and just as awesome as the first! Service is Excellent same lady as cash register, SUPER NICE AND ATTENTIVE!!!! Food Super Fresh! Grilled Chicken perfectly cooked Soft Pita, fresh peppers and onions! Tzatziki sauce(cucumber sauce) is SUPER FRESH AND TASTY! Oh and their RANCH is spot on!!!! We've been to Pete's Grill 4 times and have never had a bad experience. Everything has been so good, the salad with buffalo chicken, the burgers, everything. The ladies behind the counter are nice, too, and the prices aren't ridiculously inflated like a lot of other places. This place is always busy and that's because it's very good. I like to call my order in so I don't have to wait in line, but even when there is a line they're fast and efficient at processing orders so the wait isn't too long. The grille Greek pita is so delicious. Chicken was moist and it was such a great sized portion. Fried okra is always crunchy.

We just ate somewhere we never had before and it was really good. Pete's Grill in Stanley. They were very friendly and welcoming and I felt comfortable soon as I walked in the doors. Lots of Harley signs on the walls. I was wearing my HD hat and the owner commented he liked my hat. We talked riding for a few minutes but he had to get back to the grill. Both our burgers were juicy and delicious and our food came out very quickly. Both our orders of crinkle fries were crispy and generous and the sweet tea was very good. Free sweet tea to drink until 2:30 on orders over 4.25. It's located right in Stanley on 27 just north of what would be considered downtown. I gave them a $5 tip and the bill for two of us was under $20. The menu had a number of normal diner things, but they seem to have a reputation for really good Gyros. Highly recommended. We'll go back here often. read more

Very delicious! I ordered a veggie pita with gyro meat added into it (I like a lot of fixins so this offered me a bunch of added veggies rather than getting the regular gyro) and it was awesome! Meat tastes very authentic and I loooooooved the tzatziki sauce! My coworkers also ordered the chicken strips that I heard were good, as well as the pulled pork bbq sandwich.
