We were quoted for a price and the parts by the next day and as promised after the New Year Zack was back and got everything up and running in right under 3 hours! I had a really bad experience with them. Whole staff and owner (Tony) are lier. They were called to diagnose and repair AC unit. The told me that AC was low in Freon. The put 7 pounds Freon which leaked next day. They did not want to take responsibility instead blamed me that I had told them fill the tank(which was a lie). I was actually pressured that I fill tank or job will not have warranty. If Freon leaked in a day that can only mean that coil had big leak. I believe they never did diagnose properly. I can understand if it had leaked in few month but one day is not acceptable. What ever you do make sure you have estimate and diagnose repot before you pay them. read more

Tony had worked on my brothers AC last summer and had heard great things about him, so when we started noticing a strange noise coming from our heater we contacted Tony with out hesitation. When our AC gave out on us last summer I called Tony at Midvalley Air for a diagnostic and quote. Tony was able to come and take a look at my unit the same week. Upon troubleshooting my unit Tony showed me exactly what the problem was and explained to me why my AC was blowing hot air. Finally cool air! Our little apartment had no ac just a small broken cooler. It was awful but Mid Valley Air came in and had a unit installed and did all the duct work. They made it work even though we had no attic. Other companies quoted us an outrageous price but this company was reasonable. It's been a few months and I'm still grateful. My initial call to Mid Valley was slow to answer (left message) I called them back after an hour & half waiting for a return call, again left message.  Once I made contact there was no technician available until the first thing the following morning. The technician arrived promptly at 8:00 & was very polite and informative during the troubleshooting of my AC system. He gave me a couple of suggestions on how to proceed with this 30 year old unit which most of the suggestions were going to be a "band-aid" fix (which I already figured with such an old unit).  I knew that I really would be spending money on something that will break down again due to its age. So, I asked the technician if he could see about getting an estimate on installation of a new system. Not a problem, he took the needed measurements and a few pictures and I had the estimate a few hours that day. After reviewing the estimate I was really surprised at the cost. I called a couple other HVAC companies in the area and got a couple more estimates. After reviewing two other competitors estimates (which were nearly the same dollar amount for the exact same AC unit) I quickly declined the install from Mid Valley. Their price was 2,700.00 & 3,000.00 more than their competitors.  I am not sure whether or not I was being taken advantage of or they are really that much over priced. So... do your homework! I contacted Mid Valley for a service/diagnostics quote through Yelp due to their great reviews along with a few other companies on 6/22 and Mid Valley was EXTREMELY quick to respond. So after receiving a few responses I decide to go with Mid Valley. We go back and forth via email and I'm told I'd be contacted the next day to have an appointment set up. I was contacted to set up an appointment on 6/28 from 3-4. I took time away from work to be home during that time just to have Mid Valley miss my appointment without any notification or calls. I call them to get "sorry we had a systematic issue". So they rescheduled for the following morning. I was told I'd receive a call before the tech arrived however, the tech just showed up and I received a call about 30 minutes after the tech was here. The tech was good which is one factor for the better rating. Ended up I had a bad capacitor and it was going to be $167 for parts and labor to fix. I searched online for the part and it was around $30 from amazon and took about 30 minutes to replace. The tech also cleaned my unit which helped some of the refrigerant levels raise which was a good thing. In total for 1 part and labor my bill would have been $167 + $70 for diagnostics/service + 3% to pay with my bank card. Due to the "systematic issue" they just charged me $167. Just wanted to give those Yelpers a more realistic rating that what I was seeing. 3 starts is OK, not great, and probably a better rating that I should be giving but they did attempt to remedy their issues and I appreciate that. read more

These other reviews don't lie. After our AC unit took a dump on us and on 6/6/17, we called our home warranty who sent out a repair company (not Mid Valley). Those guys, while super nice, came out 5 different times and could not figure out what was wrong with our unit. Being that this was the first huge heat wave of the summer (110+ degrees!!), it was not fun having to deal with a broken AC, multiple visits from professionals, time off of work to accommodate.... you get the picture. Fed up with it being up to 92 degrees INSIDE our house since the start of June, I contacted Mid Valley Air. The reviews were awesome and I was at the point where paying out of pocket was the only to resolve our hot house issue. What was great: - I messaged Mid Valley Air on Thursday 6/23 via yelp. I received a response Friday 6/24 at 6:30am. - Tony came out to the house on 6/26 and took measurements, explained what he was doing, answered questions, and was so so personable and helpful. He said our freon was near zero so he planned to fill it with this substitute freon of sorts which was cheaper. He ended up being out of it, so he filled up our freon with the "real" stuff at the cost of the cheaper stuff. - Unfortunately, the issue wasn't completely resolved, so we called them back on 6/26 and they were back out to the house the morning of 6/27. Aisha, their admin, was super nice and friendly (side note). - Tony examined the issue further and found that our motor was undersized... now this would be a great sell to a young couple who are exhausted from being so hot inside their own home. A new motor?! Fantastic! But he suggested we call back our home warranty to work it out now that we identified the actual problem... WHO DOES THAT? - Tony was a great technician (he identified the problem when no one else did), he was a great business man, and a good person not out to make a quick buck. Truly a business of integrity and character. While they aren't actually responsible for completely fixing our AC, the amazing customer service will have me calling them for my next air issue. Now we wait for our home warranty to send out another tech, but this time we know exactly what to tell him!! Thank you so much, Mid Valley Air! EDIT: From a different company, it was confirmed that the motor on my AC unit was actually OVER sized. This other company actually called Lennox, the manufacturer to confirm. So while Mid Valley had fantastic customer service, I'm now a little concerned that they told me literally the opposite of what was going on with my motor. read more

This is probably the worse Air conditioning service I have ever experienced. Last year they came to my house to do a repair on the air conditioner and they said that there was an issue. It was the end of summer. They decided to leave the repair for the spring to do the job with cooler weather . The estimated price they gave me for the work was around $1,000. Now that spring is here, I called them to do the job and I asked them to send the same technician. They were ok with that but when I opened the door, it was someone completely new. We complained right away to the company because someone new meant, new assessment and waste of money to start over. We paid this new technician $75 for a less that 30 minutes job. The following day we received an email with the assessment and the new estimate from the new technician. This time it was over $3,000 for one estimate and over $9,000 for the second option. I did not use the system from last estimate until now. I have no idea of how middle class Americans can deal with those thieves? read more
