This is my go-to spot for flowers for every occasion! When I need something a little more special than a quick grocery store purchase, I can always rely on Mid-Valley to come through for ya boy. The customer service is always solid, and they even offer assistance with carrying your flowers to your car if needed. Now let me add that, it can get a little pricey if you get lost in the beauty or get distracted, so be careful. Also, If you get caught slipping from their upsell tactics, you might end up spending more than expected, but you can always decline. They aren't pushy and they are very friendly! Lastly, parking can be a nightmare on busy days. It's located in a small shopping center with a few restaurants, and I've never had an easy time finding parking. I ordered flowers from here for Mother's Day after finding good reviews about it and wanting to shop locally. To my surprise, they were responsive and somewhat helpful regarding scheduling an earlier delivery. They did not deliver earlier but ended up delivering the next morning as originally scheduled, however the bouquet was just nowhere near what I expected. After going back and forth, I was told to just come back next time for a free bouquet. My family and I had also brought these back to the shop just for them to add 3 roses... Note there were hardly any in the original bouquet delivered. The presentation was just awful- a handwritten piece of paper, a white box hiding the vase, way more leaves than flowers, and $100 for this was ridiculous. You're better off shopping at your local Vons or Trader Joe's for a better looking and affordable assortment. read more

I had the most incredible service from Mid Valley. I had a crisis and left a voice mail for them at 4 am. I ordered funeral arrangement from an online florist thinking it was a brick and mortar shop. Only to find out it was a scam. I needed a funeral arrangement for a 10:30 am delivery that same day. Gabriel and his staff called me back as soon as they opened and began working on an arrangement immediately. Knowing that I had just been scammed by someone else, Gabriel assured me the entire time he spent on the phone with me that he would be able to get this done for me. He proceeded to send me the invoice, then he continued to follow up with pictures of the arrangement once it was done then again a picture at the church once it was delivered. I arrived at the funeral relieved to see my funeral arrangement was delivered and beautiful and didn't look like a quick job. I'm so thankful for Gabriel and his staff. His professionalism, their quality in flowers and artistic ability especially pulling that entire order off in less than two hours. You want to give a local small business a chance but experiences like this force you to go elsewhere. I spoke with Martha and was priced $70 for a hand held bouquet after picking a sample arrangement from their website. Had to call back to confirm. I spoke with Patricia who worked with me by text to show me roses for the arrangement which I appreciated. And later Gabriel jumped in the communication to let me know choices of greenery for filler. He priced me $75. And $15 for a boutonnière. When I picked up on Saturday, from a distance the greens already looked to be issue. It seems to be limping from the sides. When I go my hands on it closer, the bouquet was just clumped together And tied. Like a beginners project. And the worse of all, the roses...petals were old, some wilted, brown wrinkle lines. They didn't even peel away the petals that were disposable. It looked like the leftover roses from a week ago. This bouquet could not be used for my parents golden 50th weddinng anniversary photo session. Photos that will be in our family's album for time to come. I walked to the car with this bouquet in hand. And I cried. Brought to tears. Disappointed in this shops work. But also the opportunity for them to gain a customer in order for their business to grow. This is why the community shops are dying. They have to do better. $70 for this arrangement is a complete rip off! Utter disappointment. And $15 for a single rose boutonnière was also but at least that rose wasn't dead. Photos below don't fully show how bad it looked in person. I couldn't bare to show my mom. I reached out by text to Gabriel to let them know after I got to my family's house when my family could witness what I had picked up. So I could confirm it wasn't just my imagination. I came in to get flowers for my mom. The lady rudely asked how much I was looking to spend & I said around $30, $40. (I assumed her attitude was because of work related stress) They said they didnt have any more roses. From the looks of it, by this time they only had about 15% of their inventory left & a big line of customers out the door. As a customer, I understand they only had some basic flowers at this point, but it didnt give them the right to take advantage of the situation. I got a bouquet that definitely was not worth the $45 that I was charged. I was overcharged & the customer service was far below average. They took advantage of people today. Came here two weeks before my event to order a few center pieces. Great vibes in a post-covid world. Small mom-and-pop shop doing their best work, giving the best deal they can. The man who assisted us was clear on what was possible in terms of flowers for the size of arrangement I was looking for. I had wanted to include peonies and ranunculus, which were out of season and would therefore increase the price/ decrease the quality of the flowers. Very much appreciate the honesty. In the end, we got a really great deal for amazing arrangements in high quality vases. He stuck with the color pallet I was going for and also put his suggestions with what was in season that were very well received. I would definitely be back there again for future arrangements. Anyways, I asked him if he can inflate some balloons I bought myself at another store, and he asked how many I said " maybe 15 " he said " no I can't do that it takes to long, to much time " like seriously? It's not like I was asking for you to do it for free I was obviously going to pay you for the service you provide! I understand if it was busy but it was not even busy!! My phone call was answered swiftly and I was told it was the first delivery that morning. I expressed my concern over my friend not receiving them, so Gabriel LEFT THE STORE to go back to the house to make sure it was the right house! He then found out he delivered it to the neighbor (the homes are very similar and covered in foliage, which was why I was concerned!).
