I can't speak to the quality of the flowers themselves because we unfortunately didn't get passed the point of ordering. We called to send a dozen roses for an anniversary gift and the man that answered the phone was incredibly rude. We were prepared to spend $100 dollars on flowers and in our first call he rushed us off the phone and told us to go to the website. We followed his instructions and when we called a second time for help he was even more rude and short. Kind of disappointed. Gave these guys a call about a week ago to ask about some prices for some sunflowers. The woman who assisted me over the phone gave me a price that seemed super neat so I agreed to come in and put down a deposit for a pick up. I was quoted $2.00 per sunflower (pretty neat deal I thought to myself), so I of course let the woman over the phone know I liked those prices and would come in the following week if I could. I come in today and this man (forgot to get his name) assisted me in the store. I let him know that I was placing an order for some sunflowers and he said "you know they are $3.25 per stem ?". "No. I thought it was $2.00 each" I replied. He looks at me and says they are not and asked me where I got this number from. I obviously was not going to get anyone in trouble so I told him I didn't remember. He the says "ok, $3.00 then". Uhmmm.. No. First of all. I drove out here for the price I was quoted and then get here only to feel like I was the liar -_- this is a mom and pops shop. They have some variety of flowers but not much. I think you're better off at another location. If you call and ask for prices make sure you note their name down because apparently they don't stick to what they say. read more

Ordered flowers from here for a friends birthday. Really liked that I saw a lot of reviews that mentioned fresh flowers, nothing worse than paying good money for flowers that wilt within two days. Later in the evening after placing my order I found out my friend was on vacation and wouldn't be back until the following week. I called first thing the next morning which was the day they were originally going to be delivered and the manager graciously agreed to reschedule for today. We previously had come to them for different occasions but the last time we stopped by was to order arrangements for my fathers funeral services. From the very beginning, they were very compassionate and understanding. I called them one afternoon to let them know i wanted to stop by but i would not make it there till 20-15 min prior to closing. They said it was okay, they would still help my sister and I. We got there and Patty, who is always helping us and is always very kind to us, greeted us. We began looking at different types of arrangements but we had something specific in mind. We explained what we wanted and she basically guided us with what would look best and we made the necessary changes. She stayed with us more than hour after closing and we never once felt rushed! We ordered a total of four different arrangements from them and they all came out wonderful! Their prices were affordable compared to others we had previously seen. Very disappointed! The bouquet (Telefora's Sunny Smiles) was wilted, not fresh and the cheap plastic vase had no water in it. To be honest, the arrangement looked like a $3.99-$10.00 bouquet from Trader Joe's. Your staff told my elderly mother (who lives out of state) that your business was near to the delivery location (which was a lie). Then, you charge her a "standard" delivery fee of $15. Please be honest with customers from the beginning. It's better to loose one customer with the truth instead of loosing many with a lie. I was originally going to order flowers for loved ones from teleflora.com that were supposed to be delivered on thanksgiving. However, teleflora screwed up my order so I began to scramble the night before thanksgiving hoping to find a place in the local area that would be open on a national holiday. Thankfully, Valley Flowers was open and able to deliver a beautiful centerpiece on Thanksgiving day. I am grateful for them and the customer service they provided me- especially when I was in a pinch and it was so last minute. I was horrified to discover that Flowers.com would not actually let me talk to the florist hired by them to do my father's funeral. They had me in tears! I come here every year and always walk away with a smile! This year....I understand times are tough and we barely opened up stage 2 of this covid19 virus situation, but there should never ever be gouging or be taking at vantage of people! When I 1st walked in long steam red roses price sign said 49.99 and there where many arrangement premise for 49.99-69.99. Right away the last remembered me and started my invoice at 89.99 red roses and I asked for a few other white flowers, my bouquet ended up 175 dollar-ish!!!! Normally for the last few years I pay 85-100 with delivery, I ended up picking up this year. Upon arrival I request it to be done a certain way, and I didn't get anything I wanted. All I got was a bunch of flowers n roses thrown together and some of the flowers are already brown and dying. I addressed my issues to the lady and she was in such a hurry she made arrangement uglier, never though roses and flower could ever be ugly. In times like this we need to support our locals and at the same time our locals need to appreciate us by maintaining customer satisfaction and the quality of whatever it is they are offering. I really feel taken and sadden that they would do this to me after many years of buying from them! My Nieghbor got his arrangement from Ralph's, dozen roses with some flowers for 39.99 and they look a million times better!!! read more

I spoke with Gabriel, the owner of the flower shop today...my last review on 12/15/16 spoke about flowers that were not representative of the cost and the horrible customer service over the phone by an employee. Gabriel assured me he is mortified by this experience and he will make good on my next occasion with a spectacular flower arrangement. He also explained an employee did not speak English well at all and that situation has been rectified ensuring an English speaking customer service rep would be available during store open hours. I ordered a surprise Mothers Day bouquet for my daughter's godmother. It never showed up. I went back and forth with the store as they went back and forth with their temp driver. They admitted they'd had at least two misdeliveries that day. I spoke to the driver, who described how the manager let him in the gate and walked him to the unit (it's an unmanaged, UNGATED condo complex). They went back and forth and back and forth with me. They kept offering (1, 2 weeks late and after the surprise had been ruined) to deliver another set. I kept saying I wanted my money back. They kept giving me various iterations of "Well I can't authorize that, I'll have to talk to [guy above me]. He's not in today, call tomorrow" until I was finally told the owner(s?) would call me to discuss it. I never received a call from the owners. I did receive a call from one of the employees trying to set up a redelivery (2 1/2 weeks late). I said no, and I wanted the owner(s?) to call me. Eventually I gave up and did a chargeback, and they've fought in with my bank since Mothers Day, claiming they delivered it. They admitted it was screwed up enough to try and send more, but refuse to give back the $53 they charged me for unrendered services. I don't care about the mixup half as much as it infuriates me that they've gone through all this trouble to fight the chargeback and keep my money. I'm still considering filing a small claims suit. But in the meantime, DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

I had flowers delivered by Mid Valley Flowers 5 times. They never disappoint ! I went to them after noticing that: 1. many shops use the same Teleflora templates, but the prices differ drastically. Pricing seems to vary strictly by location. But these guys go anywhere in the valley + probably farther ... and 2. the last flower shop i tried had a problem with having to enter a locked apartment complex, yes it is a bit inconvenient but usually someone will come in or out every few minutes. Mid V. flowers goes the extra mile. There's never been a problem to my knowledge getting in there, and its the only place i send flowers to.. so i always call them. There are shops with larger stocks/selections of colors but these guys can always make the specified arrangement- the only change could be certain flower colors. Mid Valley stocks fresh flowers of all 'classes' and if u think about it, when a beautiful bouquet arrives on time, its not going to matter if the orchids are orange or purple. read more

The employee (I believe it was David) that answered was extremely helpful and walked me through how my flowers were to be delivered. They were extremely thorough and cooperative. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! A Valentine's Day Massacre! First, it took me forever to figure out how to find them on YELP. On my invoice, it says Valley Flowers. I searched Valley Flowers and found nothing. Then I checked my CC statement and it had Mid-Valley Flowers. Sounds like they're trying to make it a little difficult to track their business. So here goes...I called the Woodland Hills store and ordered the Teleflora's Love Shines Bright Bouquet - Standard (which states "as shown"). There is a picture of the bouquet on their website. I just wish I could show you pictures of what they advertised and what showed up at my girlfriends work on V-Day. I called the store and spoke with David. I explained that I was completely embarrassed for not only me but my girlfriend that this "arrangement" was delivered in front of her co-workers. This arrangement is the most pathetic excuse for an arrangement that I have ever experienced. I understand that many of the flowers would not be opened right off the bat. It is Sunday and only 4-6 flowers have opened up. I told David that I would send him a picture of the flowers and he could tell me if this was an acceptable arrangement. He called me back and said "this does not look like anything that we would even make." He said that he was sorry and he would have to ask the owner if he could give me a refund. In addition, he said he would try to do something nice for my girlfriend on Friday. I contacted David on Friday to see if the refund went through. Late Friday, I got a text that the refund went through. Still nothing has hit my CC. My last reply, which has not been returned was, "are you still able to do something for my girlfriend to make up for the mix up?" I put a call into the Manager today but still have not heard anything from anyone. Like the three other negative reviews that are hidden from view DO NOT do business with this company. My true rating is zero stars. My husband bought me a orchid as a surprise. In less than one week the unopen buds were turning yellow. I called and spoke with the owner, Gabriel. He said I was the third call that week and he was upset with his supplier. He offered to exchange the plant. When he came to my house he said I had a superior plant than the one he was offering to exchange and to keep my plant because it had two stems and to not worry about the yellow bud to just pop it off. Gabriel stated to water the plant every 4-5 days instead of every 7 days since it was hot out. I have done what he suggested. My husband specifically requested a plant that had opened flowers as well as buds to ensure that I could enjoy the plant for a long period of time. Well 8 of the buds have yellowed and died and now three of the flowers have shriveled and died. I called to let them know what had happened. Gabriel did not call me back he had someone else call me but he could be heard in the background telling the speaker what to say to me. They stated that I refused the trade which is not true Gabriel stated that nothing was wrong with my plant and that I should keep it and that I shouldn't worry. I took him at his word and kept the original plant. However, when I called last night and he refused to talk to me or to do anything about replacing the plant I called the CC company and opened and dispute. The CC company stated that we should call Gabriel back to let him know about the despite. We did so but Gabriel did not return the call. I call the CC company to let then know and they suggested I return the plant and ask for a refund. I went to the store and Gabriel and Olga, a store employee, were extremely rude and made derogatory comments to me while my 8 year was standing there. He asked what is it that I wanted and I stated I wanted a plant that lasted longer than 3 weeks, considering the amount of money that was paid $119. He said that was the life expectancy of orchids and I said that is not true because I currently have plants in bloom from January. He accused me of cutting the plant which is not true and I said if I cut the plant there would be a cut mark and there are none. He also stated that the small buds never open. If this was the case then why tell my husband when he asked about buds that there were a lot of unopened buds? Olga said to me my house is hot and that I did not open my door to her and that I was not watering the plant. I said I do not open the door to strangers and I have not control of the temperature outdoors but my home is 72 degrees. I said yes, I asked you to place your "delivery" on the porch.When she was at the end of my driveway I opened the door and retrieved the "delivery" and thanked her. I said I don't know how you would know the temperature of my house as you have never been in side my house. I removed the moss from the top of the plant to show the moist bark and Gabriel agreed that I was/had been watering the plant. While speaking with me Gabriel he said that he has been in business 26 years and that it is people like me that put people like him out of business and that all I wanted was something for free and that I and my husband had a problem spending money. I said we do not have a problem spending money because if that was the case then my husband would not have placed the order. Then the both said to me that I should buy my plants from Trader Joes and not a florist because of I was unwilling to spend money. While we were speaking both Gabriel and Olga proceed to pop off the dead blooms and buds and then Gabriel said let me take a picture of the plant and I said no do I look stupid. Do you think I'm going to let you take a picture after you have cleaned up the plant? I picked up the plant and said I will continue to dispute this with my credit card company. Upon returning home I called my CC and told them what had happened. This is absolutely NOT a good business to work with ZERO stars. read more
