If you plan on paying full price they might be fine. But if you plan on using a coupon that even says "most vehicles" you can probably bet that your vehicle wouldn't fall under "most". These people should not be in business. Their negligence almost killed my family when we went in to have our break pads fixed and they forgot to secure our tire back on our car (didn't put lug nuts back on the driver's side front wheel). We unfortunately found out when our tire flew off of our car while we were going interstate speeds. We almost rolled the car with our two kids inside. The loose tire barely missed oncoming traffic and they had to swerve to miss the tire. The tire was eventually found in the middle of train tracks in which a passenger train had to stop so they wouldn't hit the tire. We were obviously furious. They assured us they would take care of it, pay for all costs to fix it, pay the towing bill and reimburse us for the negligent service we received. We towed our car right back to their garage where they "made it drivable" and said we could come and get it so they could avoid paying for a rental car. We picked it up and 5 minutes down the road, they called panicked saying we needed to come back immediately because they put on the wrong lug nuts and were not on tight. TWICE these people made the same mistake endangering my family and I. Ultimately after getting a quote to fix our car, the opted to go through their insurance. Fine. Our car got fixed, mostly. Part of our hubcap is still missing and the tire system needs serviced. Annoying but not that big of a deal. What IS a big deal is that after our car got out of the shop we asked Midas to refund our car tow and the negligent service we received from them. They told us that they provided a service for us and they won't refund it citing that they "went above and beyond" for us and that they "guess" they can pay for the towing. Not only did they put us in harms way, they did it TWICE! We had to deal with the headache of having our family car in the shop for 2 weeks and I still get PTSD while driving my kids around. Waited about 2 hours for the appointment, but when I checked in for my appointment, I was told that there was a problem, and they could not get me in. It was late afternoon I was from out of town and had to drive home without the alignment. Needless to say, the shop should not make appointments if they can't keep them. read more

I came in with a brake issue caused by a Subaru specialty shop that just couldn't get things right when I did an upgraded big brake kit. This is something that they should be highly competent at as they are a shop specializing in Subaru performance as well as routine maintenance. The short version of this story is after two separate additional 2 1/2 hour one-way drive trips, they only made the situation worse and could not spend anymore time with it that last day and sent me packing. Enough about them and now about Midas. I stopped in the shop and told him the scenario of what has been going on. I was very clear that if they didn't feel comfortable working with the aftermarket brakes and what was going on that I would not be upset and no harm no foul. Jim and Brandon worked with me as I test drove the vehicle and showed them what was going on. Brandon is a highly competent tech who had the knowledge and expertise to fix my issue, of which there was actually multiple issues such as the calipers misaligned and scraping the rotors, not bleeding the air out of the lines appropriately, etc. Brandon was able to take the time and meticulously go over every issue that needed to be fixed and took care of it. Now, I actually have brakes that stop as they're supposed to, aren't scraping, and overall feel night and day difference from before. Did I have to pay for the service again? Yes, of course unfortunately. However after two separate 2 1/2 hour one-way trips to a specialty shop that ended up not only taking my money but wasting my time this was well worth it. I have a high level of confidence in the services available here with Brandon working, and the manager Jim was great at setting everything up. My sons car broke down and everyone I dealt with was great, this will be our go to mechanic shop!

My son took his van here and had the Cadillac converter installed. They said they were going to weld the new converter on and never did. They do not weld. They used a cold weld which is pretty much a glue that does not hold. Additionally, they charged for new donut gaskets which were not done or at least, not done correctly. The exhaust is louder not than before the hired repairs were made. We had asked if any other part of the exhaust needed repaired or replaced and they said no, that is was in good shape. So, us being prepared to have anything that needed to be done repaired at this time and now having paid for services that were not even done and done correctly as promised is poor craftsmanship and business. If we did business this away. We would be out of business, notwithstanding, that the staff wasn't very nice. read more

I had a great experience at this location, thanks to the general Manager, Chuck. His crew was very professional and Chuck is as honest and straightforward as they come. When my 2010 Patriot's (garbage) transmission took a dump, he was very honest and straightforward about the options available. When I decided that it was time to just have the thing taken out back and shot, he kept it for me in the shop for a couple nights at no charge until I could get a wrecker to pick it up. Classy touch. One thing I picked up on - the honesty thing. I overheard Chuck on the phone talking to what was clearly an elderly woman. Chuck assured her that everything was find with her vehicle, and just offered suggested maintenance. "You don't have to do these, maam, they are just recommended. Otherwise your car is fine." Think about that... how easy would it have been to make a quick buck? Highly recommend. read more

I have always had a great experience here. Usually very quick service especially without an appointment. I have had items twice covered by warranty which is great. Ideally they would not need replacing and last longer but brakes and mufflers don't last forever. Cost here are considerably better than the dealership which is great for an older car where $2k muffler repair not acceptable. read more

Don't trust this location. They will continue to fail to fix the real issue and recommend services you don't need. They couldn't find out the cause of coolant leaking after months of failed repairs. Took it somewhere else and they found it was a bad radiator. Tried to tell me it needed a new catalytic converter, but just needed a flex pipe. Take your vehicle to any other shop - you will save hundreds, your time, and further damage caused by this shop. read more

Had previously had good luck here, but had a repair this week that I feel was WAY too expensive. Better than TWICE what Cars.com, and RepairPal show as the highest fair price and enough to bring groans from friends and grimaces from the auto store staff I asked. As near as I can tell, they mark their prices on parts up nearly 2.5 times what it would cost you to buy the same part at any store. I can understand them having some markup, but this seems like gouging. I will be following up with the company. So, if you are thinking of going here, and you have any choice in the matter, I strongly advise you to shop around. Added back one star because staff was nice, sympathetic, and did make some adjustments to the price (still quite high, but better) after I went back in with research and persistence. I did regular service and balancing. Balancing was not done properly and the tyre which had 1/2 life got worn out and I have to replace all 4 tyres now. Never ever in my life time I will go to this service station. Also if you go for any repair, they will give you another problem and say the needs to be replaced. I always go here for any car repair and regular maintenance. Deandre is fantastic and really looks out for the customers. Want an example? My car died on the road and I had it towed to Midas. Since it was a holiday they were closed, but I called to tell them what happened and left my keys. Deandre got my car in as soon as he could the following morning, figured out the problem, and called me. It needed a part that would take 2 days for delivery. Gave me the price for everything (under $500). I said go for it. My SO reminded me right away that I had the extended warranty (the car was less than 2 years old). I called back and Deandre said he was going to look into it. I got the call back and he told me it was covered but I had to get it done at the car dealership. (He went out of his way to check for me) I was able to get it towed to the dealership with no problems. But the dealership called me and told me the repair wasn't covered under the warranty and it would cost over $1000 not including the double tow. How was this possible? I told them to call the warranty place again because they told Midas/Deandre that it was covered. Surprise surprise: the repair was suddenly covered. But that didn't end there. I asked how long the repair will take and they said that it should be done by the end of the day. The end of the day came and no call back. I called to see if my car was done. Nope didn't even start on it. Longer story short. The dealership screwed me that whole week. I would have had faster and better service at midas even though I would have paid for the repair. This is just one story of many that compares Midas to other service centers. I never felt cheated or pressured into an unnecessary service at Midas. I trust them and they show respect to their customers. They treat customers like family not like walking paychecks. As I move away from Blo/No, I am truly going to miss Deandre and this Midas. They are fantastic and wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and go once. No twice in case you happen to go in a bad day (super rare). read more
