It was an obvious over quote, he simply had no desire to help. Needing to get back home before 4, I left and hoped spare would safely make it all the way to Fishers. I465 was scary with torrential storm, but I made it. Sitting at the Fishers Belle now and they are taking great care of me! Sadly, the same symptom appeared, if intermittent. I returned the van for diagnosis. The part they installed was defective. They honored the warranty. This also required them to change the oil for free (must be drained to access the bad part, a long story). Cost $0, as the part was indeed defective, a brake booster diaphragm had broken, again, in a most inaccessible place. That, to me, was honorable. They stood behind expensive work, and it's work not easily done because 1) it's a diesel van with no room in the engine compartment and 2) repairing this part-- and blame Ford-- requires tearing out most of the front of the engine compartment to get to the bad part, drain the oil, and re-assemble with very little room. The tl;dr: Upgraded because of an honored warranty claim due to a bad part they'd provisioned. Stellar.

Isaac helped him right away and checked out our tire that was less than a year old. Thank you Isaac for fixing the tire and being a stand up guy and not selling us something we didn't need. Because of this, I will definitely consider Firestone for purchasing my next tires.

The two most ergregious complaints I have is 1) When they are supposed to do a full inspection of…read moremy car, and it comes back saying front and rear windshield wipers are good, when the back one is entirely broken off of the car, I have no confidence in any of the rest of the inspection. 2) I came in for an overdue oil change, and drove the short distance home. The next day I left to go out of town and have the smell of burning oil coming from my car, and open the hood to see the oil cap wasn't put back on and there is oil all over the engine and almost none IN it. I'm taking my car somewhere else to get evaluated for possible damage done by driving with the oil cap off for who knows how many miles, in the rain no less.
