So to make a long story short I had replaced my A/C compressor due to a bad bearing and brought it in to have Midas vacuum test and recharge it only to find out the clutch wouldn't pull in. After troubleshooting, it was determined that I had received and installed the wrong compressor from the parts store (didn't have rear air). I took the vehicle back home, removed and exchanged the part with the correct one, replaced the compressor again, and returned on a different day to attempt to charge it again. After recharging it the second time and after further troubleshooting they were able to identify that there were two pressure switches that also failed and a handful of wires on the main wiring harness that had shorted out preventing the clutch from pulling in (and probably the cause of several random check engine lights we've been experiencing). Kyle the service writer was extremely helpful and accommodating during this process and Mike the technician was very knowledgeable and determined to help resolve the issue. I expected a bill much higher than I received and the quality of service was excellent. We will definitely continue to do business here! read more

I just want to take a second to review this amazing Midas location. From the top down, they have some of the best employees. They figured out what the issue was, worked with us to fix it and when we unfortunately had to go to a dealership so Chevy would pay for the issue, they were understanding & just so nice! I will definitely be using them going forward for ANY car needs. They also fixed my car when the same issue arose in 2021 (Jeff Wyler sucks) - thank you guys SO much. Brought my charger in as it started sounding like a race car. Mike, the manager, put it on the lift and found that the pipe weld had busted at the muffler. Walked me out to show me the issue and we scheduled an appointment to fix. Showed up today for appointment and it went right in the lift and installed. He told me about an hour and it took 59 minutes just as he said. Quote that was given to me was exactly what the final price was. Nice quiet ride home. Arrived at Midas at 7:10 for an appointment at 7:30 at 7:15 Kyle the manager walked over to my truck and asked what he could help with. I handed him my tailpipe and said that I had my exhaust system replaced here about a year and a half ago. He brought me in and said it's been 26 months.LOL is guess time flies. He had Mike the tech pull my truck in and started working on it immediately. He waived the labor and started working on it ASAP. He said the part was not under lifetime warranty, since it was not the muffler, but gave me a break on tailpipe. He ended up doing my oil change and researched my engine light issue. He and his team knocked everything out in about an hour and twenty minutes. Bill was much less then expected. Kyle is an awesome manager and truly takes care of his customers. Called ahead of time to make an appointment and make sure that they had the tire that I was looking for. I was told that they had plenty of those and I can stop by to have it put on. When I got there the representative said that they did not have those tires and I had to end up paying $20 more then I was originally quoted as a result for a different tire. There is no reason to make an appointment or call ahead of time to make sure that they have something and they tell you to go ahead and come when you arrive and it's a totally different situation. The customer service here was not warm or welcoming either. I also emailed the individual who's email that they put on the back of the brochure when you pay for your service to discuss the concerns of this situation. They offered no Avenue rectification as a result of that situation. This is not a good business model nor is it the way that a business that wants its customers to return should conduct themselves. Had the tailpipe replaced. Didn't walk around and look at it after it came down from the lift. Had about 3" clearance from the road. Hit a bump, tailpipe drags. Not only that they welded everything instead of clamps. Next time I have no choice but replace it all not just the bad section. They did fix it the second time I came here. Terrible experience with Midas at 4616 Aicholtz Road, Cincinnati OH. My brakes were going to the floor and took it in on Saturday, Nov 27th 2021. Received call from them that it was a master brake cylinder and quote of almost $600. I notified them that I had an online quote where over 22 other businesses would repair MBC for under $350. The Manager called me back with a new quote of $368 (more than $200 less than original quote). I went ahead and approved them to fix it and then I get a call Monday saying they had gotten a bad MBC part and had to order another one. Tuesday came and received call from Manager (Holden) that new MBC still didn't fix the problem and that there was something else wrong and my brakes were spongy. He stated that they were 99% sure it now needed a brake booster and he would get me a quote for this. He talked down to me probably because I was a woman questioning what was wrong with my vehicle and why they weren't able to diagnose the multiple repairs. Wednesday came and I had to call them at 4:30 pm to see what was going on. They now had my vehicle for the 5th day. I spoke with another manager name Jim who told me that they actually had to replace the MBC 3 times due to 2 bad MBC parts from their supplier. He then stated that it was not the brake booster that the manager Holden had told me it was. He stated he had no idea why Holden had told me that he was 99% sure it was a brake booster. They had now determined it needed an ABS brake control module and was trying to get me a quote for the repair. I went online for an estimate and was given 22 other companies that would repair an ABS control module for $735-$822. Jim from Midas called me back a couple of hours later with a quote of over $1700. I was beyond shocked that it was over double my online estimate. Just like what happened with the Master Brake cylinder. I told him about the online estimate and he just stated there was no way they could compare to that price. I notified him that I would be making a complaint with Midas Corporate office (which I found out is probably useless from complaints I seen on BBB site) due to Midas is a franchise and locations are independently owned. All of the Midas complaints made with BBB were receiving the same response from the Corporate office that the individual owners needed to be contacted. Needless to say I will never go back to Midas even for an oil change. My car is being towed to another repair shop that is going to charge me $800 for the ABS control module, which I am not sure that is what it even needs after talking to a couple of mechanics. BEWARE OF THIS MIDAS AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU LET THEM DO REPAIRS. read more

Kyle and his team are the ones I trust most with my car. I only come to them when anything comes up, I won't go anywhere else. They also do a thorough inspection every time they change the oil so I know if anything needs attention soon or not. They also let me know if something can wait a while or if it needs fixed asap. read more

Took my car in for a catalytic converter replacement. During the repair they ruined two different sensors on the car. One of them was the passenger seat airbag sensor. The dealer is the only one who can replace it. The total repair is $3,300. Midas refuses to admit blame. They claim it was just a coincidence that they went bad while the car was in their shop. I should have paid the extra money for the professionals at the dealership. I wouldn't take any car there for any type of repair. I'm rating one star because I couldn't give a negative. read more
