This resulted in a waste of TIME, MONEY, and ultimately addressing issues that DIDN'T need to be addressed; INSTEAD of the real issue that needed to be addressed in the first place!! Not honest mechanics and do half @ss work to cause her to have to return (i.e leaving anti-freeze out of the radiator after completing my last job). Every time I've called and/or taken my vehicle to this location the staff has been so friendly, honest, and have explained everything to me about my vehicle. One particular incident they did everything they could to repair my vehicle and when they were not able to not only did they recommend I take it to the dealer they did not charge me for the work. We arrived early and we were greeted by Martin, who gladly welcomed us into the waiting room and prepared us coffee. It wouldn't have surprised me if we had been served breakfast as he was so welcoming. The entire transaction was transparent and there wasn't an overly ambitious upsell approach which is always a turn off. I went to Midas in Inglewood on Manchester it worked out fine. While I was there Bret Gilebill tightened the smog holes and did not charge me, Brett said it pays to be honest because what goes around comes around. So I went back to have my breaks done, He said all of my breaks needed to be replaced and the Rotors Needed turning. He charged me $640 for the front brakes, and I couldn't afford for him to do the back breaks, I told him I would come back... In the meantime, I went for a second opinion and they said I still have brake pads on the back brakes and the rotors did not need turning I have pictures to prove it... I am disappointed in Brett and his staff for taking advantage of a female and lying to me to get more money out of me for something they did not do... The last time I got new brakes were in 2018. Than covid hit in 2019, did not do much driving at all So the brakes were still good. read more

I came here for a tune up and to have my power steering checked out. I was qouted $60 but told to come back in the morning. In the morning the price jumped to $120 just for a diagnostic. I was then told 250 for the tune up only after he tried to trick me into paying over $1000 for o2 sensors. Then when I come to pick up the car he tells me it was 350 and that I didn't hear him right or something because he didn't understand me sense I had my mask on while I was on the phone. He somehow "worked it out" and got the price back to the 250 that we originally agreed on. HIGHWAY ROBBERY !!! On 06/26/17 My 70 year old mother drove her 2002 Infiniti I35 to Midas asking them to check the vehicle as there's a ticking sound under the hood. Upon inspection they discovered the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. The gave my mother a written estimate for $1100.00 to replace the Radiator and Thermostat my mom's eyes nearly popped out of the sockets, he then re-wrote the quote without the Thermostat. Returned back to Midas because I had a nail in my tire and received immediate service although I was late for my appointment waiting on AAA. Again, Brett provided top tier excellent customer service and a fair price to patch my tire...so grateful that's all it was and even more so to receive trustworthy information from ethical mechanics and manager. The 2 mechanics were equally professional, detailed oriented and kind. Before I left, I asked for a last minute check on my "check engine light" and because they were closing, Brett and the mechanic quickly took a few more minutes in just getting the codes to give a possibility to what it could be. Midas sucks! They over charge and seem to never get the problem fixed. I had suspension replaced front end and back end due to defects twice in 2yrs. They claimed to have upgraded my stock suspension setup for $700 with Monroe. Ok, for the defects they wanted to charge me labor to replace them for the 3rd time, claiming that it was past 90days. Right!! So they claim to have the MIDAS TOUCH with suspension that rattles squeaks and bounces way too much...Not to mention they have posters all over the shop displaying shocks and struts that are branded...Come to look at mine, NO BRAND NAME...Then they claim they have their own stock # for the shocks they advertise...That right there my friend is false advertising! Avoid Midas. They are money hungry upsellers who give the runaround. Its a huge chain designed to break your pockets. My car had been squealing at me for about a week, so I wanted to get my brakes checked. I called and spoke to Paul. He was very nice over the phone, and told me that they weren't very busy, and could fit me in. When I got there, John helped me out, and he was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I wanted to get an oil change while I was at it, so he offered to visually check the brakes while they were doing the oil change. I opted to do the whole brake check though, since I was 99% sure I needed new brake pads, and the price of the check is subtracted from the total price of the brake change. I thought it was nice of him to offer the visual check. They offer coupons online for both oil changes and brake service, and I was able to use them with no hassle. In fact, as he was ringing me up, John asked if I had any coupons. He also showed me the brake pads, both old and new so I could see the difference, and showed me that I had a tear in the calipers. I chose not to replace the calipers this time, but will be back to do that later. They gave me a 15% off coupon to the sizzler next door so I could have lunch while waiting for my brakes to be changed, which was awesome. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience at midas.
